"There seems to be a communication problem between departments. We tried to book a hotpot dinner for 6 people, but the front desk said it was fully booked for the evening. We left our number to be notified. Dinner starts at 6 PM, and by past 7 PM, we still hadn't received a call. So, we decided to go to the restaurant to check the situation. At the restaurant's reception, the staff asked how many people were in our party and said a 6-person table had just canceled its reservation, and they were about to call us. So, we went in. To our surprise, once inside, there were at least 6 or 7 empty tables for 6 people. We also noticed another 3 consecutive 6-person tables that were empty in another section. Additionally, several 4-person and 2-person tables were also empty. Yet, the front desk had claimed the hotpot was fully booked. Pictures confirm this. If all these empty tables were indeed reserved, why were they still available after 7 PM for a walk-in, while genuine customers like us were left waiting unnecessarily? What kind of reservation system do you have? If these tables weren't reserved, why were both the front desk and the gate staff telling everyone it was fully booked? Don't tell me these empty tables were just vacated by the previous wave of guests. One or two tables, maybe, but it's too much of a coincidence for 7 consecutive tables to have just left. I'm unsure if it's a management issue or if the staff were deliberately messing with customers, but the overall feeling was terrible. Next time I visit Xiangshawan, I definitely won't choose a hotel on the island again."

"The cleanliness was decent, with no dirty spots. The carpet was made of cotton. The only downside was that the soft pillows might have some lint. It's also very close to Xiangshawan, only a 30-minute drive away. The room rate was very reasonable, just over 400 yuan for two double beds. The service was excellent; they even brought over two hair ties."

"The hotel is located in the Yinken Crescent Moon Bay scenic area. You can only drive there by car and bring your own dinner. There are no formal restaurants within 30 kilometers. The hotel facilities are unexpectedly good and clean. Although it is a space capsule in the desert, the room is fine and the scenery is absolutely great. The front desk sometimes cannot reach the phone and there is no network. When the hotel does not have Wi-Fi, there is a mobile signal, but the China Unicom and China Telecom signals are very poor."

"Everything was perfect, except for the slightly small room and poor soundproofing. The service was absolutely outstanding; every staff member was incredibly attentive and always served with a smile. The complimentary free-flow drinks in the lobby were delicious – we probably had close to twenty cups over two days! The restaurant food was also good; we had three meals there with hardly any repetitive dishes. The unlimited free access to Xiansha Island was fantastic, and I highly recommend the Xiangsha Peak for an exciting and fun experience!"

"The front desk staff at this hotel had a ** problem 1. When checking in, the front desk guy said that breakfast ended at 9:00, but the room card said it ended at 9:30. I just asked the service staff which one was based on. He said their kitchen aunt got up at 3:00 in the morning to make breakfast. Why can't the guests understand their aunt's hard work? I don’t understand why he was so angry with us before we checked in. 2, booked a parent-child room, 10:30 pm washing found the hotel no children's toothbrush, called the front desk to send down, the front desk deep sigh made me think I was wrong. When I opened the door to collect my toothbrush, I felt that the front desk guy's eyes wanted to **. There is no tissue in the toilet behind, so I dare not call to ask for it, for fear of something happening. 3, around 10 pm found the quilt a bit thick, called to only the quilt cover to sleep. The front desk reluctantly gave you a quilt cover, saying that you don't want me to give you a dirty quilt cover either. Inexplicable! Early style in general, is the standard of homestay, acceptable. What is unacceptable is that when we had breakfast in their dishwashing room, we found that they didn’t use detergent or anything like washing the dishes. They just washed the chopsticks and plates with clean water, and then continued to use them,🌚🌚 Roads are under construction near the hotel, making it inconvenient to drive in and out of the hotel. Advantages In this small county town the decoration style of the room is still relatively refreshing, the room is relatively clean."

Free laundry area with detergent provided. Breakfast can be improved; drinks could be provided (at least plain drinking water). Rather sloppy check-in process but not too key in affecting the stay experience. Good pit stop before heading to the desert."

"I spent the weekend with family and friends visiting the Desert Herdsman Homestay, and the overall experience far exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended! The courtyard landscaping is very tasteful, with an exquisite and elegant Chinese-style welcoming pine tree. Sitting in the private courtyard, enjoying tea and conversation is incredibly relaxing. The outdoor barbecue area is well-planned, with tables suitable for small gatherings, a large canopy with a rainproof roof for team building meals, and a full range of commercial grills, making it convenient for self-service grilling skewers and roasting whole lamb.
