"The peace and quiet were great, as was the location. The room was very cramped along both long sides, and a pillar on one side was quite annoying. No proper nightstand. No fridge, the air conditioning was bothersome, and there was little storage space or hooks, which definitely needs attention."

"The breakfast is relatively simple but the taste is okay, but the Chinese stomach may be a little bit bad. Haha. The location is very close to the train station. Google Navigation takes about 5 minutes. However, it actually takes some detours because of the many water systems. It is recommended to just take a taxi. There are few parking lots nearby. Please drive carefully. And the parking fee is very expensive. All attractions can be reached by walking, subway or rail. There is no need to drive. I have almost never encountered any delays. The service staff are very good and all the services are very patient."

"What a disappointment. After checking in, we returned in the evening to a room that was downright filthy. The bed looked like it had already been used, with dark hairs in the bedding. The sink was clogged, the toilet seat was covered in urine stains, the sofa was stained, and the curtains smelled musty and hung loose. This was uninhabitable for us. We tried calling the hotel several times that same evening but unfortunately got no answer, although we did leave a voicemail. Ultimately, we were forced to stay elsewhere, at our own expense. The next morning we returned the key and asked for a refund. The reception's response: "just send an email." No apologies, no solution, not a single sense of urgency. Hotel La Noire cost us nearly €260 for a room we didn't even sleep one night in. We do not recommend anyone stay here."

"Very cute hotel with friendly staff. Located in the canals just next to the centraal station. Hotel itself is a very old building therefore does have stairs, and doesn't have an elevator big luggage might be hard to navitage. Tea and coffee in the room are refiled every day but if you want extra it costs extra. For me personally 1 coffee a day is too little :P"
