Hotel Derong Yandawa

📍 200 meters above No. 1 Tunnel on Hedong Shang Street, Kaunti Derong

"The room was large and clean, the bathroom had a separate shower and toilet, and slippers were provided for showering. The shower water was very hot, and parking was convenient as the hotel had its own parking lot. The breakfast was too simple; it didn't even have basic milk or eggs."

📍 5th Floor, CBD Business Center, Hexishang Street, Kaunti Derong

"On the way to Shangri-La, I chose to stay in Derong County for one night. This hotel has a very good environment and the service is warm and thoughtful; the room facilities are perfect and clean! The overall experience is good. After the lack of sleep and high reaction in Ganzi the night before, I finally had a good night's sleep in this hotel after going down the mountain! The next day, you can drive to the Red Army Bridge to visit the Derong County National Museum (the Red Army Long March Memorial Hall), which is very worthwhile!"

📍 No. 65, Line 2 South Section, Waka Town, Kaunti Derong

"Come down from Feilai Temple for a rest. This is a treasure B&B. The front yard is lined with green trees and luxuriant grass. There is a small swimming pool in the backyard. There are walnut trees, pear trees, and peach trees planted beside the pool. There are many fruits. The rooms and From the swimming pool, you can see the Jinsha River not far away and the beautiful ******* villages on the shore. If it weren't for the schedule constraints, I would have stayed one more night. The boss was enthusiastic and helped us prepare dinner and breakfast. Will come again next time I visit Shangri-La!"

"The scenery was beautiful, the room was smart, and the basic facilities were complete. The owner was very nice and upgraded our room, which had a small living room with a comfortable sofa. Dining and parking were convenient, and there was also a coffee shop. It was great value for money. Overall, it was pretty good, and we were satisfied in all aspects!"

Waka Love Dance Hotel ★★
"Super Value Hotel, Highly Recommended 1. The hotel is located in Waka Town, Sichuan, bordering Yunnan Province. It's across from Benlanzi Town, Yunnan Province, a must-pass for those going to Baima Snow Mountain and Meili Snow Mountain. The altitude here is only 2200 meters, lower than Lijiang, making it incredibly comfortable and relaxing, with no altitude sickness whatsoever. You can stay here for a night; it's convenient for visiting Meili Snow Mountain or returning to Shangri-La. It's about a 20-minute drive to the Jinsha River Great Bend viewing platform and about a 20-minute drive to Helong Bridge. 2. The hotel seems to have opened in 2023 or 2024, so it's very new. The ******* ladies at the front desk are very friendly and helpful. 3. There is parking and charging stations available."

"This time I stayed at Derong Hotel too warm! The front desk lady was super intimate and took the initiative to introduce us to the local delicious food. Before leaving, she specially reminded me to take the oxygen cylinder for fear that I would fall. The staff of the entire hotel are also warm and polite, the service is meticulous and thoughtful, and the stay is particularly comfortable."

"We stopped here for a night on our way down from Litang, and it was a great place to rest. The hotel is right on the Jinsha River, and the temperature is just right in the summer – not too hot. The hotel also has its own swimming pool, so guests visiting in the summer can go for a swim."
