"Our stay was lovely. We liked the novel idea of staying in someplace that is technically a castle. The room was nice and clean and the bathroom was spacious and very clean. They didn't offer the info to us when we arrived, but we ended up walking ourselves around the hotel and found the reception desk person giving another couple a tour of the hotel and telling them the history -- I'd have been disappointed to have missed this, but I'm glad we got the info regardless that it wasn't offered to us. Had dinner and drinks in the Green Lady Lounge which was nice and had good food."

"Booked for two nights. Hotel staff are really friendly which is great but the rooms are absolutely vile. Travelled 8 hours so was rather tired. On first glimpse it looks okay but further notice after I had felt itchy in the bed, the sheets had short and curly hairs on and dots of what appears like blood. I pushed across the bed to find nothing short of absolutely dirt. Explains why days later I have bites. At 1AM when I found this I grabbed my clothing and slept in the front of my van in a truck lay-by. Do not go!"
