"This hotel is recommended by a friend. It is very cost-effective. During the Qingming Festival, I stayed in a 2.2-meter bed for more than 200 yuan. The room is about 40 to 50 square meters. The design of the dry and wet separation of the bathroom is also very good. You can also take a free bath and sauna. It is highly praised. The hotel facilities are a little old, but it is completely acceptable for a high cost-effective ticket."

"I happened to be there during a heatwave warning, so I extended my stay at the hotel for another night. Besides the weather, I was also very satisfied with my experience from the previous day. The soundproofing in the room was excellent. You could barely hear anything, unless someone was walking by in the hallway and making a lot of noise. There's a gym on the third floor, which seems to be run by an external company. Hotel guests can access it by swiping their room card. It's well-equipped with treadmills, elliptical trainers, stair climbers, and various weight machines, and it's also very clean and hygienic. Breakfast is also on the third floor. The dining area isn't huge, but everything was laid out promptly by 6:30 AM, hot and ready. It leans a bit more towards Chinese-style food. One particularly good point is that there's an AED placed by the hotel lobby entrance. In case of an emergency, it could truly be life-saving. Of course, I hope the staff on duty are trained to use it, and I also wish everyone good health and safety. I feel that besides exploring Dingzhou itself, if you prioritize sleep quality and travel by car, staying here is also very convenient for visiting Zhengding Ancient City. It takes about 50 minutes one way to drive to the Longxing Temple parking lot (you can get on the highway within ten minutes from the hotel, and the one-way toll is about 22 yuan). A round trip only takes about two hours, which is honestly shorter than my one-way commute during rush hour. If you enjoy visiting Zhengding Night Market, can tolerate noise and disturbances while sleeping at night, and can get up early to explore the ancient city when it's less crowded, then choosing a hotel in Zhengding Ancient City is also a good option. To be frank, while their location is an advantage, some of them are a bit old, and the newer ones are generally just average in quality, and not particularly cheap either. It really depends on individual needs when making that choice. In a nutshell, it's good value for money, and I'll definitely come back if I have the chance."

Dingzhou Office and Gongyuan Confucian Temple can be reached on foot. The newly opened hotel has very good facilities, including a Lifen hair dryer, a touch-screen desk lamp, a dry and wet separated toilet, and a large bathing space. In short, the hardware facilities are very good. The complimentary afternoon tea was unexpectedly amazing. The service was also very good. The girl at the front desk was warm and thoughtful, and even gave us coffee when we checked out. The only downside is that the corridor has some smell, but it's ok in the room. The breakfast could be more substantial."

Then an argument ensued, and one of their managers came out and told us that if the room wasn't ready, they would upgrade us. I want to ask, if there were no rooms available, why list the room as available? They said the previous guest hadn't checked out. Why list a room if the previous guest hadn't checked out? After we went in and put down our luggage, we left. We're here for tourism, after all. When we returned to the hotel that evening, we found stains on the bedding and a sticky substance on the sofa. I don't know if it was from drinks or something else. The ceiling was damp. I specifically took photos with watermarks in case the hotel didn't acknowledge it. I reported this to the hotel, but they didn't do anything about it. They told me they would rectify it. We're here for tourism. After our feedback was fruitless, we contacted Ctrip. Ctrip told me the hotel wouldn't answer the phone. Then why are you still selling rooms on Ctrip? The merchant hasn't contacted us since. If the hotel doesn't offer any compensation, we will complain to the Dingzhou Culture and Tourism Bureau. I don't believe that your advertising is so good that you wouldn't consider our feelings. Is this what you call Hebei Culture and Tourism?"
