Hotel Villa Pascucci

"We had a lovely stay at this beautiful hotel. The hotel itself is stunning, our room was wonderful, and everything was exceptionally clean. All the staff were very polite, friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was good in terms of quality, although I feel there could have been more variety. After a few days, it became somewhat repetitive because there were not many different options. Unfortunately, the main disappointment of our stay was the lack of flexibility from the management regarding family members who came to visit us during the day. We live abroad, while our family members live in Albania, so naturally they wanted to visit us for a few hours during our stay. I asked whether they could pay a reduced or half-day fee, as they would only be using our sunbeds and staying at the resort for around two or three hours. However, the manager told us that no exceptions could be made and that our family members had to pay the full rate. On one occasion, for example, my sister arrived at 4:00 pm and left at 6:00 pm, meaning she stayed for just two hours, yet we were still expected to pay the full price for pool access which we found unfair and unreasonable. What made this particularly disappointing was that we were also having lunch and dinner at the hotel every day and consuming all of our drinks there. We were therefore spending money at the hotel every day and actively contributing to the resort’s business throughout our stay. Even more importantly, this was during the off-season. There were plenty of sunbeds available, so this was clearly not a situation where there was a shortage of space or where hotel guests were unable to find sunbeds. We would completely understand a strict policy during peak season if the hotel were full and sunbeds were limited. However, when there is plenty of availability and a family member is visiting for only one or two hours, it is difficult to understand why there could not be even a small amount of flexibility. I raised the matter twice, and on both occasions the manager confirmed that no exception could be made. I was not asking for my family to enter for free. I simply felt that a reduced rate or half-day fee would have been a much more reasonable approach given the circumstances. Overall, this was disappointing because the hotel itself has so much going for it. The facilities are beautiful, the room was excellent and the staff were lovely. However, good hospitality is not only about beautiful facilities; it is also about understanding your guests and showing some flexibility when the circumstances allow for it. Rules are important, but there should also be some room for common sense and reasonable discretion, particularly when there is no impact on other guests and plenty of space available. Unfortunately, because of the way this situation was handled, we would not choose to return to this hotel. It is a shame, because with a little more flexibility our overall experience could have been excellent."

"Firstly, the room I was assigned had a very unpleasant smell, which made it uncomfortable to stay in. Additionally, the location of the room was not suitable and did not meet reasonable expectations. I also experienced poor service during my stay. One of your receptionists (male with an eyeglasses) provided misleading information, which I found very unprofessional. Furthermore, the airport pick-up service was delayed by over an hour, causing significant inconvenience upon my arrival. The room itself was lacking basic amenities and maintenance. There were no slippers provided, and the shower was broken, making it difficult to use the bathroom properly. Overall, this experience did not meet the standards I would expect."

Hotel Antalya - Beach Durres

"We stayed one night in the Antalya hotel, very bad experience, dirty room, dirty bathroom, even the toilet with splashes of ****, the shower hadn't been cleaned in a long time because you could see very old stains, dirty sink and mirror, dirty TV, sheets stained and smelly duvet, practically everywhere you looked everything was dirty, plus they wanted to cheat us on the price, they told us a figure on the phone and then when we arrived on site they asked for much more. I do not recommend this place, I am of the opinion that if you pay for a night in a hotel you must feel good and stay in a clean and welcoming environment"

Hotel Vivas

"Waste of money. Unhelpful staff, poor facilities, broken Aircons in 28C. Family of four, two rooms booked. Shock number one: the elevator was broken, while both of our rooms were on the third floor. Shock number two: the air conditioning in both rooms was not working. I waited around three hours for one room to be fixed. Eventually I told the receptionist and electrician that I couldn’t spend my whole evening waiting around while my family sat waiting to go out for dinner. I was reassured that the second room’s A/C would be fixed by the time we returned. A few hours later, we came back only to find the A/C in the other room still not working. I called reception and was then told it would be fixed the following morning because the technician was unavailable. To make matters worse, the Wi-Fi was practically non-existent and kept disconnecting. The staff struggled to understand English and, more importantly, seemed either unwilling or not adequately trained to provide meaningful assistance. Overall, an extremely frustrating experience from start to finish. STAY AWAY FROM THIS RUBBISH BUSINESS!"
