"Great service all round. Clean, spacious good quality rooms, good breakfast and service with a smile. Breakfast is included in the price and comes along with a complementary minibar with soft drinks and beer, including coffee and tea. Very comfortable beds. The only thing I missed in the room was an iron for a creased shirt (I didn't ask, but maybe they have one at reception). The dining area is spacious yet has a cosy feel. There is a terrace by the waterfront and although I didn't use them, there is a gym and sauna in the basement. Close to Emden centre, parking is free for guests (subject to availability) and there is disabled access throughout the hotel. Plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from within 10 minutes walk from the hotel The price seems quite high, but it is reasonable value for money, taking into account the high standard of service, and of course the complimentary breakfast, minibar and parking."

Overall, I can recommend Hotel Faldernpoort without reservation. A place where hospitality, comfort and enjoyment are combined at the highest level. "The hotel is OK. The hotel's check-in reception is located 2 houses further in the Hotel Upsatalsboom. There can also be the bikes placed in a garage. However, there is no charge possibility for ebikes. The bike bags can be carried from the garage to the hotel. They are just a few meters."
