"The approach to the hotel is uninspiring which makes your arrival in a modern manicured property all the more surprising. The hotel is well thought out, set up for a very chilled out time and service and facilities are excellent. We did not give a full 5 for one reason which for some could be a blocker. This hotel is very popular with young families, for very good reasons but if you want a quiet retreat keep this in mind If on the other hand you have young children it is a great place."

"For the extremely reasonable room rate we paid for a centrally positioned hotel, I couldn't fault it. Shower gel was provided and two bottles of water. There were also some nespresso pods provided for use in the kitchen. The room was air conditioned, beds reasonably comfortable. There was also a smart TV in the room. Check in was at the cash desk in the Ale-Hop shop next door."

"We were welcomed by our friendly hostess who showed us to our apartment, walking past the beautiful pool area. A modern sitting area with kitchenette led through to the bathroom and bedroom. Electronic blinds afforded dark, quiet nights, and good linen and large towels were appreciated. Breakfast was served in the cafe/reception area or could be enjoyed on our private patio. Plentiful breads, croissants, ham, cheese and eggs were freshly made. The property has a small menu for lunch/dinner but we ate out in Evora. There are bikes or their electric buggy for hire, walking trails to follow and a beautiful massage area under trees on the estate. Recommended."

The hotel itself is aesthetically pleasing inside, and knowing it used the façade of the old bull-ring was pretty cool too. Now the cons: the pillows, were very flat and nothing to them so I didn't sleep well and had a slight headache when I woke up and the breakfast was a bit expensive for what it was. Otherwise, it was a good stay."

"It's a converted farm with over 200 years of history. The owner was a mayor for over 270 years. His granddaughter is now 99 years old. The farm lacks environmental management and feels dilapidated. The rooms are nicely decorated and well-equipped, but the smell is unpleasant. There are also a lot of mosquitoes. The breakfast is mediocre; if you can't go out, you'll just have to snore. If you want to escape the hustle and bustle, think carefully about how you want to eat dinner before checking in. I wouldn't have booked it if the Hilton and other hotels weren't fully booked. The price-performance ratio is extremely poor."

"The location and breakfast was good. Negative things are - 2 nights during our 4 nights stay, the hall light came on in the middle of the night for 30 minutes long and we could not turn it off manually. - inconsistent housekeeping service: 2 times the coffee and tea sachets were not refilled. The tea & coffee sachets are cramped onto the only shelf for storing under the TV. - Bed was made up in a rush, pillows were laid disarrayed. - room and bathroom were very small and bright, feels like a surgical room rather than a hotel room. The clothes cupboard to hang clothes in is small. There is also a small storage cupboard which has only an ironing board in it. - No space to put a luggage stand. -The worst was when we first notified the staff in regards to the light and the house keeping which was not attended to seriously. The attitude of the staff was not helpful for us as guests. The light coming on was not taken care of until the second time that we complained to them. The lack of housekeeping (tea & coffee sachets) seemed to be that they were very focussed on costs by only providing us with a very minimal amount. Overall the room is small and not at all practical for people travelling with cases or bags."
