"I stayed one night at the Arena Lodge, a decent hotel/guesthouse just steps from the Flims/Laax/Falera ski resorts. The hotel is a welcoming, clean place with very friendly staff. The double room, though not overly spacious, was very comfortable and clean. I didn't have breakfast at the hotel, so I can't comment. There's an excellent bar/patisserie located 100 meters away. There's ample parking/garage for guests and a heated ski room."

"This place is special. We stayed here for 3 nights when skiing, and it is a fantastic hotel. The rooms are very comfortable and feel very modern and clean, the staff are really helpful and friendly and the quality of the service and food - the coffee in particular - are all superb. The restuarant really needs its own review - very quirky, interesting brilliantly presented, and most importantly - tasty food. We were lucky to find this hotel and will certainly be back for more skiing and also in summer, given the expertise the hotel offers with biking in the region."

"The worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The manager Carlos and restaurants manager mo mo were very aggressive in their approach to certain guests. The packed lunch was awful, you got shouted at at by staff if you moved tables took drinks outside used a coffee cup instead of tea cup. Had to rush all inclusive drinks as only available for 90 minutes. Bar never open. It was like a prison camp . Cannot believe the hostility from Carlos and mo mo. How they still have jobs is beyond me."

"The mountains surrounding Flims transform this sprawling village into a circus in an arena: opposite the lodge stands the concrete beam in the shadowy hollow. Hats off to the architects; this little patch of land has been optimally utilized. I wouldn't want to stay there, though. Better to book a room in the main Arena building with a sun balcony (overlooking the beam). The Wi-Fi connection could be improved, but since all my needs were met and the value for money is excellent, I'm giving it 5 green points."

"Check-in was done through the website which was great, as we arrived late and we could get to our room quickly and smoothly. Doors open with a digital key, through an app. Super clean room, however very minimalist: no wardrobe to properly unpack stuff but there were only two shelves and a few hangers, no table, one chair (but at least there were two nightstands), no minibar. The balcony is essentially shared, separated by two thin ropes from both sides, so not much privacy as the neighbors can see into your room—I would highly recommend updating the pictures on the website as they are very misleading, as it looks like the rooms have their own separate balcony. I wish there was ventilation in the bathroom as it was horribly humid after ever shower. Loved all that natural wood design throughout the entire hotel. Big, comfy bed. Breakfast is excellent with lots of high quality food items, freshly made eggs and excellent coffee. Super quiet place; easy to relax. We had dinner there once and everything was phenomenal. There’s also a washer and a dryer in the basement—self service but free; very useful. Overall great stay."

"Just spent a week at Hapimag Flims. Had a super holiday. A beautiful, large, and clean apartment with a stunning view. Wi-Fi works very well. Very friendly and helpful staff. There is plenty to do for children and dogs are very welcome. Hapimag is very centrally located in Flims Waldhaus. Just a 5-minute walk from the gondola to UNESCO Sardona. We bought a mountain railway pass at reception for 35 CHF for 3 different gondolas. Flims also has a lot to offer in the summer, such as Lake Cauma. Very beautiful! It is also very nice that you can book from Sunday to Sunday, when the roads are much quieter. Tips: a walk in Stoos and the Landquarts outlets. In short: we are very satisfied and will definitely be back!"

"We booked the hotel for 3 nights as a B&B through Free Dreams. With an upgrade we had a large room with a view of the valley. Clean, friendly staff, nice indoor pool and large breakfast buffet. Everything was perfect. If you're hungry, the hotel's own restaurant, Il Forno, is perfect. Great food (e.g. pizza). The hotel is recommended. We'll be back in the summer."

"We just left the hotel. The front desk was not manned, as was the case most of our stay. I left the room key at the front desk. I stayed in the hotel yesterday for a while to talk about an issue we had, a toilet in a room near us kept refilling 24/7 and kept us awake all night. As I never had a change to address this, it was never fixed. Also, we had no coffee or tea facilities in our room. Rooms are sparse and dated."
