"I'm unsure of the standards. A $175 room deposit was charged upon check-in. When I asked to clarify whether it was a deposit or room charge, the front desk pressured me to sign. The elevator was broken, and the room was on the 5th floor. The air conditioner was very noisy, making it unusable. I was worried the hotel wouldn't refund my deposit. The room was cleaned before check-out."

"It's terrible. I booked this hotel on Ctrip last year. It was called Marriott at the time, and later changed to Wyndham. When I arrived at the hotel, the front desk told me that they couldn't find the order and asked me to pay extra to check in. I was unfamiliar with the place at the time, so I had to pay more than a thousand dollars. Later, I contacted Ctrip to confirm the order, but the money I paid was not refunded until a month later. The breakfast was very bad, there was no vegetables, and at first they said I didn't have breakfast. I showed them the order but they didn't recognize it. I asked Ctrip to contact them before they agreed, and then they stared at me for a tip. The sanitation was not cleaned every day. One night, there was a dog in the room next to me that kept barking. I told the front desk that I wanted to change floors. The front desk said that the rooms were full. I clearly saw that there were no guests, but they sent me away like this."
