"Pros : 1) Room size is big 2) Nice indoor and out door pools 3) Western breadfast is good Cons: 1) Hotel is a old, it has a weird smell and you can tell by the pics of the washroom, it is dated. 2) It has a weird smell in the room, you can smell it as soon as you are in the hallway in the bedroom floors, not just inside the room. 3) my room ceiling and shower curtin has lot of black mold dots, I think is due to the strong AC and also facing west with the high heat from the sun, caused by lots of moisture builds up"

A taxi ride from American Village cost around 60 yuan, which was much cheaper than staying in a hotel there. The next day, we walked along the beach to American Village, which was very relaxing."

"This was my second time staying here, but I felt the staff were less enthusiastic this time around. The hotel offers complimentary drink vouchers for guests, with several options available from bottled water to canned alcoholic beverages. We, a group of three, couldn't even use all of ours. The room was neat and clean, and they provided several laundry detergent packets for washing clothes. All personal hygiene essentials were well-stocked, so you don't need to worry if you forget to bring your own. The hotel also has two parking lots, so parking is not an issue if you're driving. My only complaint about the service was that we stayed for 3 nights and told them we didn't need daily room cleaning. The staff said they would leave fresh towels and other amenities on a small rack outside our door on the third morning for us to replace, but they never did."
