PPengguna TetamuOur stay at Bo Yuan’er Platinum Courtyard Hotel in Datong was outstanding. The hotel enjoys an excellent location right in the heart of Datong’s Ancient City. Being situated in the pedestrian zone means it is wonderfully quiet at night with no traffic noise, yet it still offers the convenience of an underground parking garage for guests arriving by car. The hotel is newly built with beautiful traditional-inspired architecture, and the rooms are luxurious, spacious, and finished to a very high standard. Everything felt modern, elegant, and exceptionally well maintained. The Chinese breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious dishes. Every morning was a pleasure. What impressed us most was the genuinely warm hospitality of the staff. Everyone was extremely friendly, professional, and always happy to help with any request. They kindly offered us a late checkout, which made our travel plans much more comfortable. As a final surprise, we even received a thoughtful gift when we left—a wonderful gesture that perfectly reflected the hotel’s exceptional service. We highly recommend Bo Yuan’er Platinum Courtyard Hotel to anyone visiting Datong. It combines a perfect location, beautiful accommodations, outstanding breakfast, and truly first-class hospitality. We would gladly stay here again.

GGoh Wee KengA gem of a 民宿 located within the Datong old city walls. Conveniently located next to a plethora of good eats including 喜晋道 and the ever popular 霸王茶姬，the friendly yet non-intrusive service staff provided excellent service throughout of 4 day stay. Engaging their 商务车 for 2 days to explore around Datong was a great decision as the staff service extended to having hot beverages, biscuits and fruits ready for us coming in from the cold weather. The same service extends to breakfast for which a spread of home cooked dishes are made fresh daily. A great stay and highly recommended.

PPSOCWe were warmly greeted by friendly staff upon arrival, making us feel welcome right away. The check-in process was quick and smooth, and the team went the extra mile to help us register on their app as we are foreigners, ensuring we could easily access Wi-Fi and contact them if needed. We had called ahead to request a humidifier and air purifier, and were pleased to find them already prepared in our room when we checked in. The room itself was spacious, impeccably clean, and very comfortable. The shower had excellent water pressure, and the inclusion of an electric toilet with a heated seat was a thoughtful touch, especially during the winter season. Throughout our stay, every staff member we encountered was genuinely helpful and sincere in their service, always making sure we were well taken care of. We initially planned to stay from 6/12/24 to 8/12/24 but felt so at home that we decided to extend our stay for an additional two days. A big thank you to the team at Mecure Hotel for their exceptional service and attention to detail. Me and my Husband had agreed this is best hotel in our 17 days China trip. We had a fantastic stay and look forward to returning in the future. Great job!

PPengguna TetamuIf we could design a perfect stay for us, this would be it. All of the staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel has a beautiful warm feel to it, our room was charming, very comfortable, soft bed, lovely linen and pillows, plenty of room for our luggage, places to sit, great tv and even a warm loo seat and great shower. Plus a magnificent breakfast spread and laundry facilities too. They even have their own special tea. Great location - close to the wall entrance across the road and not far to walk to good restaurants. Close to public transport also. Thanks for having us. We won't hesitate to recommend to our family and friends.

PPengguna Tanpa NamaI booked two rooms for 4, and we were given rooms beside each other. We arrived late at night around 9.30pm and check in went smoothly. Rooms were very comfortable and were equipped with SMART tech with voice activation! We were also able to check out a little later upon request since our train left later in the afternoon. I also had packages delivered to the reception and had no issues. Location was great and easy to explore the ancient city and also to see the main wall itself. One thing to note is that there isn't a formal drop off point but you can definitely get dropped off and picked up along the side of the road. The room layout was slightly different than the images on Trip.com (I booked a Double bedroom with courtyard view with a stay voucher), but the room was good too although I would have preferred the toilet configuration in the photos. Overall, a great place to stay and I'd definitely stay here again if I get to come back to Datong. They also have a bakery at the lobby and it gets sold out pretty quickly!

PPengguna Tanpa Nama對於渾源縣物價來説，這個房價委實有點高，畢竟五一也可以理解，但是後來發現比渾源的四星級酒店房價還高。樓下的餐飲好像很有名，很多人在吃飯。但是攜程上的外觀圖應該改一下，有點誤導消費者，我一開始還以為這酒店外觀顏值很高才選者的。前台感覺就是餐飲的收費處，門面不像酒店住宿。感覺不太好，房間內部倒是挺乾淨，還可以看到衡山。

I stayed for three days and I enjoyed the comfortable and spacious room with its soft floor, the adjustable illumination and the goodies which I received daily as well as the breakfast buffet, which included a variety of Chinese food, salad, fruits, toast, cornflakes, little cakes and freshly made noodle soup.

CCassie SimConveniently located besides the Ancient Wall City, where I spent my first day, and not too far from Datongnan, the high speed rail station I arrived from. My room was clean and comfortable with a decent view. I didn’t stay here long but in the short time the staff made a positive impression on me, giving me directions and happily agreeing to help me charge my power bank because my adapter was not working. This hotel was recommended to me by a friend who visited Datong a few months ago, and I will do the same to anyone interested in exploring this city.
