Clean and tidy.

The hotel was close to the subway station and a very stylish designer hotel. The relaxing lobby had lemon and orange water, beets, fruit, and nuts available for guests to help themselves to, and there were also several play equipment such as a basketball hoop. The room did not have a bathtub or amenities like those in Japan, but it did have a coffee maker, and the coffee was delicious. Breakfast was a buffet with a wide variety of breads. There was a wide selection of ham and salami, but it was a shame that there were no sausages. The honey straight from the beehive was delicious.

Service for check-in was good, but no parking spaces, neither in the garage nor on the street. Breakfast was good, large selection, sufficient for my purposes for one night.

The room is small and not clean. The lobby downstairs is a bar and very noisy. Not recommended

NYX, that was probably nothing. I booked a room there because my company is around the corner. That way I could commute on foot after the Christmas party. For a weekday night's stay of over 200 euros a night, everything has to be perfect. The reception is very casual, which is probably intended to underline the style of the hotel. Everything in the room is clean and, as it's basically a new building, very appealing. When you lie in bed, however, you're surprised by the plastic crackling of the mattress. They are box spring beds with a protective plastic cover, which may be particularly hygienic, but it feels like you're sleeping on silage foil. Even the bedding over the plastic doesn't help. Then the drains are super loud. If someone showers somewhere on the floor - or worse, the toilet is flushed - you can hear it live. Since the bathroom is only separated by a sliding glass door, closing it doesn't help much either. The staff were completely overwhelmed at breakfast. Since a lot of guests checked in, there was a lot going on. 2 hotel employees more or less just cleared away, another employee was responsible for the new cutlery and wiping down the tables. Unfortunately, not only that, but also filling up the buffets, replenishing the dishes at the buffet, etc. Since the guests were mostly traveling in pairs, but the tables are obviously only designed for large groups of 6 people, it was interesting to see where the guests sat down or found a place. The staff were difficult to recognize as such, as they were wearing sweatpants and T-shirts from last summer's vacation. But that is also obviously part of the style of the hotel. The most interesting thing was to see how new guests desperately searched for cutlery or someone they could ask about it. The breakfast was OK, but definitely not worth the price. And to top it all off, we had a fire alarm at 1:15 a.m. and the hotel guests had to be completely evacuated. So we stood outside for 45 minutes and waited until the fire brigade sorted everything out. Everything went smoothly here, and no hotel is designed for something like this at night. The night shift employee tried very hard. However, many guests were standing outside in their underwear and wearing only a jacket in minus 1 degrees. And now comes my criticism of the matter: when I checked out, NOTHING happened. There was nothing going on at the counter, there were no other guests or any other stress. I handed over the key, the hotel manager was standing next to me and the lady said word for word: "Thank you very much, everything is sorted out for you, have a nice day..." You might think that I am old-fashioned, but my employees would have at least said this: We are very sorry about the interruption at night, but it was also for your safety, we would be very happy to have you visit again. AND if I had been the manager, I would have added "next time we'll treat you to a free (coffee, breakfast or whatever)". But what can I say, over 200 euros for such an adventure, wow. It's a clean hotel, but in that price range 95% of the other hotels work better. Our company no longer accommodates employees there.

There may be a bit of a gap between the price and expectations. The hotel style may be what young Germans like.

It was a very nice stay there. A great new hotel, we felt very comfortable. There are only a few parking spaces available.
