The housekeeping service is noted for its thoroughness and attentiveness, although they were not able to understand basic English word and it becomes little difficult at times. 5. The place is nice and cosy, they are about sustainability as well. The staff are really nice and helpful as well and they have free tours but the tour guides do it out of good will so tip them well Ms Ly, Ms Thanh, Ms Nhan and Mr Chien were the staff that were serving us and they made our stay very memorable

My family had a really great experience when we arrived in Hanoi. We will be returning here soon. Enjoy the scenery and atmosphere here. It's definitely going to be great. What a lovely hotel. We landed on our first day in Hanoi at this lovely property, just overlooking the lake. Its a nice, calm, quaint area with cafes and restaurants around. The rooms are spacious, best amongst all the other hotels that we stayed in.. The room, bathroom has a luxurious and Victorian kind of feel. The staff at the reception, entrance also at the breakfast restaurant were very helpful. The breakfast is also very nice, lot of variety.. thoughtful to have a little Indian food counter for breakfast. All in all we had a great stay. Thank You.

Very good for travel ha noi. Rooms could think little bit smaller but every smaller and cheaper hotels in Vietnam like this. Hillary was best for sure.

I had a memorable stay at Splendid hotel. We were upgraded to a room with a balcony by Mr. Harry. The hotel has a very good location so it was very convenient for us to move around. When we returned from our trip, the staff offered us tea and coffee. It's free every day. The breakfast was great and the staff were also very kind and enthusiastic. So I booked another room for next year. Looking forward to our next stay at Splendid Hotel

Central located with local amenities such as mini mart, good restaurants (Japanese & its own Jasper Restaurant), cafes within the building. Pho restaurant is next street within walking distance and Korean BBQ Restaurant is 200m away from hotel. Housekeeping services to clean the rooms and clear rubbish are also excellent. Front desk counter staff are friendly and readily to help out.

This hotel is still not complete. A lot of construction still on-going. The first room we checked-in was not finished. Even the blinds/curtains on the glass wall between bedroom and bathroom was missing. Totally disappointing! But, I would give full marks to the manager and the front office team. They were very courteous, and helpful. They facilitate an early checkin without even asking! They were personally checking and helping with every small details of our stay, travel itinerary, tour bookings, food, etc. They were very cooperative and more than willing to offer complimentary cabs and drinks when we let them know about the disappointments around the room quality and facilities. To summarise, what was started off as a bad experience was turned into an memorable stay by a highly professional, friendly team!!

Impressive entrance with a short walk to anything you might want/need in Hanoi. Check-in was a breeze when we arrived mid-afternoon. The lobby on Level 1 and restaurant on level 2 are opulent and well-served with competent and English fluent staff. The room I had was well presented, very clean and well-serviced. Great pillows!! Small, but functional bathroom with a great two-way shower. Money can be exchanged at reception at around market rate. The breakfast on level 2 has something for everyone. Vietnamese, western and excellent pastries. Fresh fruit and a great noodle bar. The wait staff and chefs are expert and can create pretty much anything on request. The room service menu is spartan but reasonably priced and well presented and delivered hot. Pasta, pizza, burgers and (of course) Pho. For those not familiar with Vietnamese coffee, fasten your seatbelt before trying. This beverage will wake the deepest sleeper in seconds. Concierge services are effective and non-intrusive. There is a mini-supermarket about 100 metres from the front door where you can find that razor you forgot amongst other necessities. This hotel is brilliantly located near the lake, which is a great location for a stroll. Within a five minute walk you can find pretty much anything that you can think of. There is a roof top bar and pool on level 10 and, to be honest, this was a little disappointing. The pool works, but the surrounds are a little tired and could do with an upgrade. Not a showstopper by any means. The lifts work, the electricity is 100% available and the wifi is fast and consistent. The laundry service is fast and reasonably priced. If you want to outsource laundry, there are several services available close by for USD$1.50 per kilo. My team of 3 stayed here for 12 days and very much enjoyed the facilities and hospitality. I would stay here again any day of the week!!

We have visited more than 50 countries and always stay at top hotels. For us, Cappella Hanoi easily ranks in the top five anywhere - for comfort, high quality service, professionalism and friendliness throughout. Everyone from the General Manager all the way to the waiters, the Front Desk, Spa personnel, etc., were just fantastic. The Spa treatments and the Michelin-Star Japanese restaurant ”Koki” were unique experiences. My wife and I really enjoyed our memorable stay.
