"We stayed one night in the lodge during the state of emergency and fires in October. Emile and the team made the stay really special. We were actually a little sad the power came back on in the evening as a night with candles would have been awesome! The generator was running all the key elements when we got there and the cold beer and fantastic dinner were a nice relief from the rubbish weather. The room was huge and very comfortable and had direct access to the pool which Emile kindly got up and running quickly. Such a great experience under unusual circumstances!"

"This is the best house in Kaikoura, New Zealand! Without a doubt! The host is incredibly welcoming. The house has everything you could need, making it perfect for a family trip. For children, the toys and games are paradise! The animals on the farm are incredibly friendly and approachable, and each one is unique and full of life! The views are breathtaking, overlooking the entire city of Kaikoura. I highly recommend staying two nights. Kaikoura has amazing activities!"

"Absolutely spectacular! Facing the sea with snow-capped mountains in the background, although there's little snow, it doesn't detract from the view. Just 5 minutes from the city center, a quiet and beautiful world! The rooms were spacious and comfortable; we stayed for a week… but the hotel hasn't replied to my emails? No solution?"

"What a great surprise. This place was fantastic. The staff were welcoming and the room was fantastic. Great curtains which covers out the total light which is great if you need a sleep in. When you draw back the curtains, the sun blazes in to room allowing you a view over the go,f course down to the coast. The golf course was included in the price and it was fun and challenging."
