The room (#122) was a nice style, clean and the bed was comfortable.....but. Unfortunately the shampoo was empty upon arrival and when we reported this to reception, this was quckly replaced, however housekeeping also removed (and did not replace) most of our towels. Not sure why? Whoever painted the walls, did not do a good job (see picture) and the wood next to the sink, while looks nice, is not the best choice of material as this easily stains (see picture). We had dinner 2 nights in the hotel restaurant, however on BOTH nights, our order was messed up. I would really recommend the staff to write the order down to prevent this. The wine (by the glass) was also not to our liking. I understand this is subjective, but i tried 2 different red wines (grape varieties which i would usually take) and both were not pleasant (cheap wine). My wife had the same experience with her 1 glass of white wine. So 3 different wines in total, and all were not good. When we arrived in the room, there were various different coffee pods, however when these were replenished the next day, they were all the same (Unfortunately not with the ones we liked, from the day before). The plates/cups from the room next door (where breakfast is served), were stored on trays and the trolley is then wheeled through the main restaurant, to the kitchen. I wouldn't mind if this was just once but this happened multiple times, while we we trying to enjoy our dinner, and is very distracting wth the rattling noise. I would expect this in a canteen, but not in a 4* hotel. The standard of our room / facilties was nice, and probably justified of the 4* rating but unfortunately all the items mentioned above made us give it only an average review.

We stayed here last week. The staff is really friendly, it was no bother for a late check-in, as we arrived just before 10pm. The rooms are spaces, clean and the beds are so comfy to sleep it. There is a nice bar as well, with a good choice of beers available. The breakfast is fantastic, with such a variety of what you can eat. I would recommend anyone to stay there.

Stayed here last week in a twin bed room with my sister. Couldn’t fault a thing. It was very clean and tidy, the bathroom was clean and the shower was lovely and hot. We had a couple of meals which were very nice and the breakfast was as you would expect, some English and also continental and there was plenty of choice. Would certainly use this hotel again.

Uitstekend hotel met bijzonder vriendelijke mensen tot aan de chef toe. Dikke plus voor de hulpvaardigheid en meedenken toen één van onze vrienden een ongelukje had gehad. Komen zeker terug. Kleine opmerkingen: als je meerdere dagen blijft mag de menukaart voor het arrangement wat ons betreft iets uitgebreider. We komen zeker een keer terug!

This hotel is right on the city center square. Quaint, close to everything, and our room was very quiet. Parking is the equivalent of a US block away and is affordable, convenient, very safe, clean, and secure. Beds are comfortable and spotlessly clean. Bathroom is small but functional.

Heerlijk rustig hotel. Mooi gelegen in het bos, met de hond liepen we zo het bos in zonder eerst weer de auto in te hoeven. We begrijpen dat honden niet toegestaan zijn in het restaurant en vonden het Grand Café een zeer goed alternatief. We konden hier ontbijten en ons 3-gangen diner nuttigen. Enige feedback is dat we graag een kamer voorkeur op hadden willen geven, de kaart in het Grand Café beperkt is (een mooie burger of biefstuk met friet zou niet misstaan) en de koffiefaciliteiten op de kamer vielen tegen. Als je als Bilderberg koffiefaciliteiten op de kamer aanbiedt, dan is een waterkoker met oploskoffie een farce.

Ik had een eenpersoons kamer. Waarschijnlijk de kamer met de minst gunstige indeling. :-( Het was al een probleem om de kamer binnen te komen, omdat de deur eerst voorbij de kast moet draaien, voordat er ruimte is om binnen te treden. Het hotel heeft vaste vloerbedekking. Dit vind ik sowieso niet hygiënisch. Er zaten meerdere dubieuze vlekken in het tapijt. Ik liep niet graag op blote voeten door de kamer. Het nachtkastje stond áchter het bed. De wand, waartegen het bed stond, was voorzien van een richel, waarop je nog iets kwijt kon. 's Nachts het licht aandoen was lastig, omdat de lamp ook achter het bed staat. Verder was het oké. Douche, toilet, bureautje en zelfs een klein 'terras' met tafeltje/stoeltje. Er ligt een föhn en een extra kussen in de kast. Het restaurant vond ik erg goed.
