"We stayed at this hotel from October 29 to November 4. Overall, the staff was polite and the room was cleaned daily with fresh towels provided — which we appreciated. However, several issues significantly affected our experience. First, the accessible bathroom we specifically booked did not match the photos. There was no handheld shower head, which was important for us. Second, the mirror in the hallway was noticeably dirty upon arrival, with visible streaks from a wet cloth — quite unpleasant for a hotel of this level. I also reported that the faucet in the sink splashed water everywhere, soaking the countertop and the floor. I was told the issue would be checked, but nothing was fixed throughout our stay. The two-faucet system used to regulate water in the bathroom was also very inconvenient, and we consistently had problems with unstable hot water pressure. A separate major issue was the parking. I prepaid and reserved parking for 5 days, but on the second evening all the spots were already taken, and I was simply instructed to park in a different building nearby. This was extremely inconvenient — having to carry things from the 3rd floor of another parking structure and waste additional time. It turned out that even if you pay in advance, your parking spot is not guaranteed — anyone from outside can take it. So you pay, but end up without the service you were promised. Overall, the staff tried to provide good service, but the organizational issues, maintenance problems, and poorly managed parking system seriously reduced our comfort. Unfortunately, after this experience, I cannot recommend this hotel."

"This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in Hawaii. Because the international flight arrived relatively early, I checked in at the front desk at about 11 o'clock. I met an extremely mean and ****** Asian female front desk. She rolled her eyes and told us that we could only check in at least 3 pm (it doesn't take that long in all four seasons), and her attitude was extremely disdainful. Because I took an eight or nine-hour flight, I really wanted to use the spa to take a shower, but the front desk said there was no locker room available. When I went upstairs, it looked like a public toilet, worse than a university dormitory room, and it was very dirty and disgusting. I gave up and waited until we fell asleep in the hotel lobby, and they didn't notify us that the room was ready. At 2:55 pm, I went to ask if the room was ready. The Asian female front desk rolled her eyes and said, "Sorry, there are still 5 minutes before 3 o'clock." I was very angry and was about to complain, but she said she would check it out, and then came out with the key. I don't believe it was not intentional. The room facilities are extremely simple. The overall hygiene is very dirty (there was oil on the floor of the elevator once), and the large reclining sofa is also dirty and disgusting. In short, I will never come again. Just for reference. I suspect the good reviews are fake. Hygiene: very dirty and disgusting Environment: simple Service: extremely poor, bad, discriminatory"

The rooms and hallways were dirty, the elevator stinks, and we decided that we wouldn't stay there again for 150,000 yen a night. "I had a wonderful stay here. First off, the location is absolutely fantastic: the W line is right outside the door, making it incredibly convenient to get to the airport, Pearl Harbor, and the International Market. There are plenty of dining options and ABC stores nearby, and the Hilton hotel beach is directly across the street, easily walkable. We went there every day to play in the sand, enjoy the sea breeze, and watch the sunset – it was so much fun! 🥳 The room itself was very spacious. Although the facilities are a bit older, everything you need is there, including a fridge and a microwave. The only minor issues were that the fridge and air conditioner sometimes made noise, but it wasn't a major disturbance. However, light sleepers might want to consider this. The hotel rooms are very quiet, with no noisy commercial streets nearby, which was perfect. On the second floor, there's a free water dispenser, an ice machine, and washing machines, which would be very convenient for longer stays. The front desk staff were also very nice. Overall, it was a very pleasant check-in experience, and I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit."

"The location was fantastic, only about a 7-minute walk to Waikiki Beach. The hotel staff were also very kind. Housekeeping comes every three days. I really appreciated that they lend out towels for the beach; it was great! After using them, you return the towels in the lobby, which kept our room from getting messy. Once we returned a towel, we got our lending card back, so we could borrow another one the next day when visiting different beaches. We rented a car and paid for parking. We were told we could park anywhere, but when we found it full and mentioned it, they moved one of the hotel's cars for us. For this price and location, I'm absolutely delighted! I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to save money but doesn't want to stay in a hostel, and prefers a clean place at the very least. Also, there's a poke place nearby called ''Maguro Spot'' that always had a long line. I was curious, tried it, and it was absolutely delicious – highly recommend!"

"I originally booked for two nights, but unexpectedly, there was a power outage, and the air conditioning was off all day. They gave us a few glow sticks, but that didn't help at all. And why is the elevator so loud?! My room was directly facing the elevator, and I kept hearing its constant humming. The hotel didn't provide slippers, and if you needed water, you had to go to the first floor to exchange a water card for it."

"For our last two nights in Honolulu, we switched to Prince Waikiki because my daughter was scared of the pigeons constantly visiting our Hilton balcony. While this Japanese-style hotel doesn't have a resort vibe, it's quite comfortable, and the yacht club view from the window offers a different kind of scenery. On the first night, we found the hairdryer was broken, but thankfully, they were quick to respond. The hotel elevators are a bit slow, but parking is convenient at $1/hour on the street outside, which is much cheaper than the hotel's parking."
