Sarapan pagi sedap, banyak pilihan. love the coffee crema, kuih-kuih n ayam merah. Keadaan bilik ok. Higly cadangkan bilik mandi hendaklah meletakkan langsir atau memasang pintu untuk mengelakkan air terbelah di lantai dan menjadikan lantai sangat licin. memang bahaya kalau lantai basah, senang jatuh. secara keseluruhan masih mengesyorkan untuk tinggal di sini.

Bilik yang besar.. katil dan bantal yang selesa.. aircond sejuk tapi tak boleh control suhu serta bunyi aircond yang agak bising.. kebersihan biasa2 je.. masuk bilik, terus bersin.. mungkin habuk banyak di karpet.. toilet bowl tersumbat pada hari kedua.. call receptionist, cepat technician sampai.. tuala, iron board dan floor mat kena minta dan cepat je sampai bila minta.. overall, boleh improve lagi

Seronok stay kat sini utk sesiapa yg tak kesah hectic place. Sbb ia dikelilingi kedai2 utk shopping dan tumpuan ramai orang. Bilik ok. Ada coway disediakan di kaki lima. Bilik besar utk 2 orang. Bila kami call utk servis lampu di corridor, cepat je mereka settlekan.

Akses laut yang mudah: Lokasinya sangat baik. Anda boleh pergi island hopping (RM50) dan melihat matahari terbenam (RM250) terus dari hotel. Ia lebih bebas kebimbangan dan menjimatkan masalah anda menaiki teksi berulang-alik. Selepas berpeluh di laut, anda boleh berjalan semula ke bilik untuk mandi.
Kemudahannya sangat lengkap: hotel ini agak besar, dengan kedua-dua kolam renang biasa dan kolam infiniti, tempat untuk berjalan dan berbaring, makan dan menonton persembahan bar. Walaupun hotel ini agak lama, saya rasa nisbah harga/prestasi masih bagus.
Bilik: Apabila memilih bilik, disyorkan untuk memilih Bilik Tertinggi, yang nampaknya telah diubah suai dan jauh dari bar. Jika tidak, bising jika bar menyanyi sehingga lewat.
Tambahan pula nampak ikan-ikan kecil dan biawak di jeti hotel hahahaha

Saya baru-baru ini menginap di HIG Hotel Langkawi dan secara keseluruhan, ia adalah pengalaman yang menyenangkan. Lokasi hotel ini hebat, menjadikannya mudah untuk menerokai kawasan sekitar. Kakitangan penerimaan tetamu ramah dan membantu, menambah suasana yang mesra.
Sarapan yang disediakan sangat mengagumkan, dengan pelbagai pilihan untuk dipilih, memenuhi citarasa yang berbeza.
Walau bagaimanapun, saya ingin mencadangkan penambahbaikan dalam kebersihan. Walaupun saya faham bahawa hotel ini lebih lama, mengekalkan standard kebersihan yang lebih tinggi akan meningkatkan pengalaman keseluruhan.
Ringkasnya, dengan beberapa kemas kini kepada kebersihan, hotel ini boleh menjadi permata di lokasinya yang indah!

Baru-baru ini saya berbesar hati menginap di Hotel Star City di Alor Setar, dan mesti saya katakan saya sangat kagum. Kakitangan sangat membantu dan berusaha keras untuk memastikan saya mendapat penginapan yang selesa. Bilik saya bersih dan diselenggara dengan baik, dan makanannya benar-benar lazat. Lokasi hotel yang berpusat menjadikannya sangat mudah untuk menerokai bandar dengan berjalan kaki, dengan akses mudah ke pusat membeli-belah dan tarikan pelancong yang popular. Secara keseluruhan, pengalaman saya di Star City Hotel adalah hebat, dan saya sangat mengesyorkannya kepada sesiapa sahaja yang melawat Alor Setar.

GGuest UserThe rooms are located on a private, secluded island, just a ten-minute boat ride from Langkawi's Cenang Jetty. There's an hourly boat service for transfers, and a dedicated meeting point at Cenang Jetty, which is very thoughtful. We booked a king-sized bed and paid an extra 110 per day, including breakfast, for a child's additional bed. We explored the island on our own and noticed some abandoned facilities that looked like they used to be part of another hotel. Contrary to some reviews, the hotel didn't offer a daily 8:30 AM guided trek for guests; you either walk by yourself or hire a guide for 120 MYR. If you walk alone, you're warned about an 800 MYR rescue fee if anything goes wrong. The name 'Trip.com' (携程) sounds enticing, but honestly, Langkawi's ecosystem is generally very good; I think Trip.com's descriptions might be a bit exaggerated. We followed old signposts to Red Rock Beach, where there's a cave, saw many pitcher plants and hornbills, and even met a French couple heading back. We had to turn back quickly ourselves, worried about the rising tide, as it was getting late. This beach, unfortunately, was quite littered, and even the private island didn't seem well-maintained.
The hotel grounds are like a garden with many monkeys; apparently, you can feed them peanuts at specific times. Staff often chase them away. The hotel's coastline isn't very long, and the water is crystal clear in the morning. There are corals but hardly any fish, though we saw many sea cucumbers and hermit crabs. Food on the island is definitely pricier than in Langkawi and not particularly tasty, just passable. There's a convenience store on the jetty where we even had an instant pizza. Hiking on the island was quite interesting; it took us over two hours round trip.

AAbbygel1514I stayed at this hotel in Langkawi during my trip with my husband, and the place was truly stunning. From the moment we arrived, everything felt so peaceful and beautiful. I stayed there only for a night including with breakfast. The room was very nice, the bed was extremely comfortable, and I honestly regretted that we only stayed for one night. Waking up to such a breathtaking view was an experience on its own—the scenery around the hotel was absolutely amazing.
One of my favourite parts of the resort was the beautiful swimming pool located right in the middle. It added so much charm to the place and made the whole environment feel even more relaxing and luxurious. Sitting by the pool and taking in the surroundings felt like a dream. I would say this was my favourite stay on my whole vacation there.
That said, the journey to the resort was a bit challenging. The road leading up was quite confusing and honestly a little scary, as the resort is located at the top of a hill. Driving up from the bottom felt intense, and the pathway could definitely be improved. But once we reached the resort and stepped inside, it felt like entering heaven. The atmosphere, the view, and the comfort completely made up for the drive.
Despite the challenging road, the experience was totally worth it. I truly fell in love with the place, and next time I visit Langkawi, I’ll definitely make sure to stay there longer.

GGuest UserThis family-friendly hotel is absolutely fantastic! Paired with the beautiful Langkawi weather, it made for the best part of our trip. We stayed for two nights during the Chinese New Year holiday with my whole family, including seniors and kids, in a family suite which was a standalone wooden chalet. The hotel environment is excellent, nestled between mountains and water, and it's also right next to the SkyCab, so you could easily spend two days just exploring the area. We also booked an island hopping tour through the hotel, which was convenient, good value, and a great experience. We'll definitely come back next time we have a chance. A special mention to Sofie at the front desk – she was incredibly nice and gentle, providing an excellent check-in and check-out experience for guests. The hotel's Thai restaurant is great, followed by the Malaysian restaurant. We didn't go to the Chinese restaurant; I just glanced at the menu and decided against it. It felt like over 80% of the guests here were Caucasians, and the overall atmosphere, including at check-in and on the beach, was very peaceful.

I really enjoyed my stay at this resort! The pool is huge and very clean — I swam for almost 3 hours each day during my 2-night stay 🤭.
My pool access room was super comfortable, clean, and beautifully designed. I also loved that there’s a bathtub!
A few small suggestions for improvement:
1. It would be great to have street lights at the junction leading to the resort.
2. Adding a clear sign at the entrance would help, especially at night or during rainy weather.
3. Breakfast was okay overall. The English-style options were good, but the local dishes like fried kuey teow, fried vermicelli, and nasi lemak could use a bit more flavour.
Overall, I had a pleasant and relaxing stay — definitely a resort I’d love to come back to! 🌴💦

GGuest UserThis hotel was our best stay in Langkawi, It gave us a little 'White Lotus' vibe. If you like lots of greenary, this hotel is for you. View is amazing. Food was good. Only the minus point was it is a little far away from the main center. sometimes difficult to get a cab after 8, if you want to go to Pantai Chenang. Airport and sky bridge was quite near and also some of the nice beaches of Langkawi. For food, there is an authentic Indian restaurant 'Delhi Darbar' at a walking distance. There is also a cafe nearby. I definetely recommend this place.

GGuest UserWe enjoyed our time here though some improvements could be made. The breakfast food area is too built up with people getting in each others way. There were only 2 coffee machines which weren't enough and we didn't enjoy the variety as much as other hotels. We found the fruit quite dry and the warm food not to our liking though that might just be personal preference. The food in the Thai restaurant was fantastic and would recommend eating there at least once. The pool area is lovely with fantastic views and a nice evening atmosphere. We didn't really use it during the day as there is nowhere near enough loungers for the size of the hotel. There is a shuttle service to the beach or you could walk it in around 4-5 minutes. Lovely beach with enough beach bean bags to go around but only about 6 parasols so not enough to go round. There's a beach shack which would have been nice if it was open more than just a couple hours in the afternoon. Other vendors not too far down the beach.
Hotel room was a nice and spacious. A/c a little noisy. Clean but not spotless. Bed was comfortable.
Staff were very welcoming and hosptable throughout.
Hotel is in a good location for restaurants and about 12 minutes walk to the main buy street. Enjoyed our stay and would consider staying there again.l

SSharifah ZThe hotel and the surrounding is ok. Close and have access to beach. Unfortunately, room is quite small, and the tv has very poor signal. When i complained, the counter said, the issue was not faced by me, it was a common issue with all rooms, and the hotel is in the process to rectify it. I am.sure the issue is not new. How could they just close one eye. The breakfast is just ok, nothing extra. I had asked for late checkout (by 1 pm) and the hotel.said ok the night before. But around 11.45 am and 1230 pm, i received 2 separate calls asking me to check out. When i told them i was granted checkout until 1pm..they said thwy were not aware. Therw was no note. So the hotel has a lot to imrove.
The tv is not a smart tv also. So nothing u cam do. With no.channel, the only option was to turn it ofc

GGuest UserOnline reviews mentioned that staying in Kuah Town would be quieter, but since it's surrounded by seafood restaurants and roads, there were still motorcycle noises around 11 PM or 12 AM. However, it didn't bother us late sleepers, and it quieted down even later. In comparison, Pantai Cenang, being by the sea, would be much quieter. The room felt like an older 4-star hotel. I stayed in a twin room the first night and a king room the second, and for 300, it was generally good value for money. There's an I-Bing bubble tea shop nearby with delicious taro milkshakes, and it's also very close to Wonderland. Parking is very convenient and free.

The rooms are quite spacious, and the infinity pool on the rooftop is beautiful, probably the best spot around for a high-up view. On the downside: 1. There's virtually no room service, apart from changing two towels. 2. The hot water pressure is very low and it's not very hot, though thankfully it's a tropical climate. 3. The breakfast selection is poor, with very few options, and nothing I really enjoyed.

LLiwaThe room was decent, quite spacious. The birds in the courtyard started chirping early in the morning, which was a bit noisy, but other than that, it was pretty quiet. Yellow Club is diagonally opposite, about a 10-minute walk away. It's an ideal spot for watching the sunset. The breakfast area is a bit small, so if you go at the wrong time, you might encounter a crowd and have to wait in line. Breakfast is a set menu, with about five or six options to choose from.
