"My family needed to leave the car in Marakesh for an overnight excursion (1 night). The manager denied the request (it took asking several people to get an answer) because someone had recently left their car in the lot for a month. We had two rooms in the hotel and were asking for 1 day - and we were trying to be honest about it. I would think you had several customers that take that type of excursion and that you could easily be accomadating to that need, especially since you advertise free parking. Otherwise the stay was good. And you could have told us that that there was overnight parking available in the mall parking lot right up the street, instead of recommending a possible lot a 10 minute cab ride away."

"There was not body wash in the bathroom for the first night we stayed, so we could only use hand soap for bathing after our workout at midnight. We informed the front desk staff the next morning about this and he promised to follow up. However, the body wash bottle was still empty when we returned hotel in afternoon. We again asked the cleansing lady to follow up and she said ‘OK’ to us, unfortunately the result was the same when we returned the room after dinner. I believe good services to the guests by a world class hotel is significant, so recurrence of such kind of matter should be avoided. Thanks."

"Sorry for the long review, but I wanted to be as informative as possible and share the information I would have liked to know before booking. This was my 5th trip to Marrakesh and my first stay at Savoy Le Grand. I was quite nervous booking after reading some negative reviews, but overall I had a very pleasant experience. From the moment we stepped out of the taxi, we were warmly welcomed by Salah (concierge) and the Moroccan tea man in reception. From check-in to check-out (4 days later), all staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Everyone we encountered spoke Arabic, French, and English, which made communication very easy. The foyer is beautiful, and the grounds are extremely well cared for—even more beautiful than expected. That said, there is ongoing construction and upgrades, which are not mentioned on the website. This is currently their quiet season, and the main construction is above the reception building, which is being extended upwards. Noise started daily around 9:15am, drilling around 9:38am, and finished around 6:30pm. Estimated completion is 1 May 2026. If you request a room near the second smaller pool, the noise is much less noticeable. The noise is louder and echoes more around the main pool due to the square layout. The hotel has four pools: two outdoor and two indoor. One indoor pool is heated and includes jacuzzi jets. There is also an additional indoor jacuzzi at the spa, charged at MAD 250 per person for one hour. There are three à la carte restaurants on site: Moroccan, International, and Italian. Directly outside the hotel are a supermarket, Paul, Chilli’s, and Papa John’s. Please note that outside food is not allowed inside the hotel. There is an ATM in reception and direct access to Menara Mall, which closes at 10pm. Special thanks to Nabil at reception, who did an excellent job checking us in. He listened carefully to my needs and arranged early check-in to a ground-floor room close to the restaurants, spa, and gym, with a garden and pool view. Soundproofing from the pool area was good, although hallway noise does travel. The grounds are beautiful, but the ground-floor rooms occasionally had a sewage smell, which I’ve also experienced at other Moroccan hotels. We did experience a few issues with our first room (heating not working, leaking fridge, slow-draining sink). Without us needing to complain, Soukayna from guest relations came first thing the next morning and immediately arranged for us to move to a beautiful suite. This level of customer service, care, and attentiveness is exactly what you expect from a 5-star hotel. In the evening there’s live entertainment music in the bar and outside a light & water fountain display. The suite was stunning—very spacious, with a separate living area, two balconies, lots of storage, mini fridge, large sofa, king-size bed, two TVs, kettle, coffee machine, safe, bathrobes and slippers. The bathroom had two sinks (standard rooms have one), plenty of toiletries (no washcloths), a large shower with both handheld and waterfall options, and excellent water pressure. There wasn’t much space to hang items, and there is a bidet hose beside the toilet. Thank you to the head cleaning lady for the final touches and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness. I’d like to thank all the staff for providing us with a wonderful stay. I love the Moroccan people—they are humble, kind, and always willing to help. Despite the construction, I achieved my goal of relaxation and a short break. This is now my new favourite hotel in Marrakesh, and I will definitely return and recommend it to friends and family"

"It was good for the price. Great location in Gueliz, very close to the shopping centre etc and easy to get to the medina either via bus or walking. There was a bit of an inconsistency with breakfast. It’s bought over to you on a tray rather being a buffet. You’re not asked what you would like, it’s more of a get what you’re given sort of thing. Several times people I heard people being offered a pancake or given bread etc on other tables and I wasn’t. However, the pastries were really nice. I went to sit outside by the pool on one occasion while waiting for my airport transfer, there were a total of 3 sun loungers but lots of tables for people coming in to eat at restaurant. Some men came in and sat at the tables, ordered a drink and were smoking; it’s not a massive area so it’s all you could smell and breathe in. The pool area is mostly in the shade. The staff were very friendly and I was allowed to check in early. As a solo traveller was given a twin room rather than a double which was shown on the pictures when I booked as a ‘single’ room. It was fine though. The air-con works well, the beds are comfy and it was quiet. I LOVED Marrakech!"

"Ну начнем с того , что останавливаться в Медине нам не понравилось . В самом реаде было все комфортно , но за пределами тихий ужас . Как говорится не зашла нам старая Медина со своим мусором , вонью и т д . Реад был чист , кровать очень удобная , пребывание комфортное , завтрак скудный . Был сейф в номере. Менеджеры дружелюбные , встретили , проводили . Утром рано подготовили завтрак на вынос . За кофе в 6 утра огромное спасибо , в самый раз перед выездом . Ещё и проводили (мы спешили и он бежал с нами с сумками до автобуса , который нас ожидал) Единственный огромный минус был в том , что один из менеджеров организовавший нам тур , отправил нас не туда куда мы хотели , как индивидуальный тур за 200 евро , до сих пор мы в задумках сделано было это специально , или мы друг друга не поняли ( хотя были показаны фото , куда мы хотим поехать ), этот день был испорчен от слова совсем , самая плохая поездка на непонятный водопад за такие деньги ."

The hotel has a modern style and the atmosphere feels relaxing. The staff were polite and helpful whenever I needed assistance. The room was clean and well-maintained, and the place felt safe and quiet. One small thing to note is that some services or nearby facilities may be closed on certain days, so it’s good to check in advance. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend Estana CR7 to anyone visiting Marrakech for a short holiday or trip."

"The room was bit small ( even though when we check in they said they upgrade our Room) so i Don't know What was the regular booking room size thn.. Maybe much smaller, shower door was not closing properly water was going out, toilet seat was not proper clean, whenever we Keep the ac on it’s coming bad smell so we Keep the ac off for our whole stay, all trowel in washroom was looking like using the for long time Look like old, for breakfast not much option & they should keep more hot food instead of may sweets / dessert item. Overall all reception & security was very friendly & Helpful, f&B morning Staff was very unfriendly .. No hi hello/ good morning.. No check back nothing ."
