"Complaint about the cleanliness of my room at B&B Hotel I would like to make a complaint regarding the cleanliness and housekeeping standards of my room at your B&B Hotel. After the room had supposedly been cleaned, I noticed that the bed linen had not been changed. There were still visible stains on the bed sheet, and I also found several hairs on the bed. This gave me the clear impression that the bedding had not been replaced before my stay, which is unacceptable and raises serious concerns about hygiene. From what I could see, the only cleaning that had been done was vacuuming the floor, cleaning the sink, and wiping the table. However, the most important part of preparing the room for a new guest – providing clean, freshly changed bed linen – was not done. I have attached photos showing the stains on the bed sheet and the hairs left on the bedding. These clearly demonstrate the poor standard of cleanliness in the room. I am very disappointed with this experience, as it does not meet the level of cleanliness and hygiene that guests should reasonably expect from a hotel. I would appreciate an explanation as to why the bed linen was not changed and would like this matter to be investigated and resolved appropriately. I look forward to your response."

We also purchased a drink when we got here and staff were very chatty so made a change to the other premier inn we stayed at last week. We had air con here which was great. We don’t have that at the last place we stayed. The rooms here are lovely and the staff are great."

"Lattice Lodge is set back from a road, this makes it a peaceful location. The directions of 'how to check-in' were informative and reassuring. I asked for a quiet room; the room was peaceful and over looked the lovely garden with abundant bird song. The room was clean, with a very useful fridge and microwave in the room., although at times, I did feel quite cold. The kitchen was well equipped and clean, although it would have been helpful to have instructions for the stove. The garden is lovely, but perhaps needs a little TLC. There is a local supermarket adjacent to the property with Bus Stops for easy access into the centre of Ipswich."

"As a local and someone who has been here many times before, sadly the restaurant did not live up to the usual standards. I booked to eat dinner here with my family who were up visiting and was really looking forward to the experience as we have always had great food and service here and sadly this time it was not good. We waited over an hour to receive any food and when mine (the lamb) finally arrived it was very poor. The lamb was tough, didn’t taste like lamb and was very under cooked, the potatoe was dry and the ‘charred’ lettuce was not charred at all.. The whole dish felt like it was rushed and just wasn’t worth £32. The burger was also very dry. We were keen to order a dessert originally but having been there for 2 hours and only been served one course; at 21:40 it was getting late and probably time to go home! It’s such a shame as this place used to be fantastic and it may have been a one off/problem in the kitchen (but looking at the other reviews I think it has gone downhill since the departure of the previous chef in October) so we will give it another chance in the future and hope it has improved! On the plus side the staff were lovely and management very apologetic and did take one lamb dish off the bill for us, so we do appreciate that! Hopefully things will be on the up again soon!"
