Hotel berhampiran Ibrahim Turhan Camii, Istanbul

My first venture abroad in 6 months has seen me travel to Istanbul as an health tourist staying at the Marnas Hotel. First of all this is not a 4 star hotel in the true sense. It is a clean, friendly hotel with some good local shops and restaurants all with walking distance at prices that are not over priced to rip tourists off. The hotel has worked hard to be COVID safe with plenty of hand sanitiser and screens, Complimentary face masks are in everyone room, welcome to the new normal !! Breakfast is basic but nice and served on the top floor with excellent views of the working class suburb of Bayrampasa. The only negative points of the hotel was that they have no Iron and Ironing board, which was a huge surprise and disappointing and the WiFi was woefully slow. The gym fitness suite was basic and could do with some upgrading. Outside of the hotel directly opposite is a currency exchange, Be careful as I changed £100 sterling and received only £50 on Turkish Lira. After I complained they corrected it. Local Restaurants, Coffee Shops and Barbers are in abundance and keenly priced. my favourite was Kofte Time where you can get a three course meal with drinks for £10 equivalent. Breakfast equivalent was the Bahane Coffee shop where for68 Turkish Lira you get a massive breakfast for two with all you can drink Turkish Tea. If you want to meet genuine Turkish people who speak little English, Eat what they eat at prices they pay, Go stay here and venture outside the hotel within a 300 metre radius you can mix in with locals and with mutual respect you will enjoy each others company and culture.

أسوء فندق رأيته فى حياتى البداية كانت السكن فى غرفتين و التكييف معطل و درجة الحرارة داخل الغرفة ٢٧ درجة و عندما طلبت من موظف الاستقبال اصلاح التكييف ارسل لى حامل الحقائب ليرينى كيف اقفله و افتحه و قلت له انى اعرف ذلك لكنه لا يعمل و ابلغت الريسبشن انى اريد فنى تكييف فقال لى ان الفنى فى منزله و سوف يأتى غدا و عرض على ان يرسل لى من يفتح النافذة و هى ما رفضته بالطبع و فى اليوم التالى لم يأتى احد لاصلاح التكييف فذهبت للاستقبال و قال لى الموظف انهم قفلوا التكييف و شغلوه مرة اخرى بدون ان يرسلوا احد لغرفتى رغم ان المشكلة بسيطة و انا اعرفها و هى ان الفلتر فى الغرفة مسدود و يحتاج الى تنضيف و لكنهم لم يفعلوا ذلك الى الأن بوفيه الافطار سئ جدًا و تشكيلة المخبوزات. فقيرة جدًا و ليس فيها اى مخبوزات حلوة البعض من موظفى الخدمة فى المطعم طريقتهم سيئة فى التعامل و عندما كانت زوجتى متعبة و لم تذهب للإفطار رفضوا ان أخذ من المطعم بعض الفطائر لها و قالوا انه ممنوع بل قاموا بالعدو خلفى الى الاسانسير ليأخذوا الطعام و يرموه فى سلة القمامة اخذت قطعة فاكهة (كمثرى)pears من البوفيه و اكتشفت انها معطوبة و غير صالحة و ناديت مدير المطعم و اعطيتها له فأخذها و لم يعتذر او يعلق بإختصار لا يساوى القيمة المدفوعة و خاصة فى نهاية الإسبوع الغرفة سعرها ١٢٥ يورو الفندق بشع بكل المقاييس و ليس فيه ادارة و لن اكرر الزيارة كما انه يضر بإسم شركة رامادا و يسئ الى السلسة بشكل كبير جدًا

Hij was perfect. Als ik in Istanbul , verblijf ik in het Litros hotel. Dankzij het bedrijf en zijn personeel is Sehnaz, de Directrice van het hotel, een live dame die behulpzaam is en Burak bij de reseptie is vriendelijke mensen. Het was een van de meest comfortabele hotels.

Otel konum olarak iyi tramvayla 10 dakikada Eminönüne gidiyosunuz karşısında otopark var günlük 50 lira beklentimiz ailece kalıp İstanbul'u gezmekti uygun ucuz otel ailenizle gelip kalabilirsiniz eleştirim RESEEPSİYON geldiğimiz gün içeriye girdik resepsiyonda ki bayan yüzümüze bakmadı bile adamızı sorduğumuzda anahtarı önümüze atıp gidin bakın beğenmezseniz iptal edersiniz rezervasyonu dedi ne bı hoşgeldiniz ne güleryüz suratı beş karış inanamadık kimsenin ekmeğiyle oynamak istemem ama gerçekten öyle odamız eskiydi gelirken çarşaf ve yastık kılıfı getirmenizi tavsiye ederim ancak otel temiz güzel olan sabah kahvaltısı restoranı mükemmel tertemiz cengiz bey ve eşi kendi evleriymiş gibi ilgileniyolar otelin restoranındaki kahvaltı otelin bütün eksiklerini gideriyor gerçekten restoran çok güzel temiz kahvaltı çok güzel eğer otel resepsiyon ve odalardaki temizlik sorunlarını hallederse çok güze olabilir kısacası ailenizle gelip konaklıyabileceğiniz fiyat performans oteli umarım yardımcı olmuşumdur

Perfect stay in central of istanbul. Walking distance to Taksim and Galata Tower. Sishane metro and Tophane tram station are also nearby. Room was clean. The only thing we need maybe an electric kettle inside the room to make tea and coffee. And also more variety in the breakfast

I have booked at Pera orient hotel because it offers what I want from an hotel during my travels and the feedbacks were in its favor. Just after my booking was done I stumble on a negative review that was posted on trip advisor. I was worried about my choice. But when I went to Istanbul and stayed there, I felt compelled to share my own experience, which was entirely different and absolutely fantastic! I believe it's essential to give credit where credit is due. First of all , if you are seeking a resort , Pera Orient is not a resort and it never claims to be one! My stay at Pera Orient was comfortable and pleasant. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by the friendly and attentive staff, who made their best to help me in every possible way and to answer my queries during my 5-day long stay. Their warm smiles and genuine willingness to assist truly set the tone for my stay. The location of the hotel is ideal. A 6 min walk from the hotel takes you to Taksim square where you can take the Metro or bus to reach your desired destination. And it allowed me to make regular daily walks on istikal street . The street is a little narrow yes, but there are plenty of hotels all around that I have never felt scared or unsafe ( as it was mentioned in the negative review). And I always took the upward direction then turn right towards taksim. I was greeted by a spotless clean room with a tasteful decor. The bed was incredibly comfortable, The housekeeping staff was attentive and meticulous, making sure that my room was impeccably cleaned each day. Coffee and tea were left daily next to the kettle (sometimes with a bottle of water). When I will visit Istanbul again , I will definitely chose Pera Orient to stay in.

Начну с того, что сейчас этот отель называется DNZ TAXIM FERİDİYE HoTEL. Бронировала я пребывание на три ночи через букинг в номере делюкс. При заезде нам был выдан другой номер, не соответсвующий описанию и фото при бронировании. Вернулись к администратору с попыткой объяснить, что номер явно другой. Он долго искал наше бронирование, нашел, в итоге дал другой номер. Он был больше и по размеру походил на тот, что был на фото, но при этом не соответстовал внешне. При этом нам было сказано, что других номеров нет. В итоге, пришлось остаться в этом номере. Потом мы начали осматривать его более детально и оказались в легком шоке. Дело было то, в каком состоянии был сам номер: дверные наличники были отломаны, стены все покоцанные до основания, незакрепленная мойка, перетертый шланг для душа, кран, который держался на честном слове. Кран и вентилятор просто торчали из стены, над дверным проемом в ванной все было замазано цементом без какой-то отделки (все есть на фото). Полотенца грязные, с остатками губной помады, а также дырками. Постельное белье тоже было под вопросом. В стоимость проживания входил завтрак, который опять же оказался не таким, как на фото на букинге. Фото завтрака тоже прикреплено к отзыву. Основное там - это полбатона. На стойке регистрации работают арабы, которые по-английский знают пару слов, то есть изъясняться с ними крайне сложно. Ну, и напоследок вишенка на торте. Решили, что не выдержим тут три ночи и уедем после двух ночей. В итоге, администраторы отменили нашу бронь, когда мы выехали, и отправили на букинг информацию о том, что мы якобы не заехали. В общем, они просто обманывают людей! Я никому не рекомендую этот отель!

Hi Me and my wife we came to Instanbul for clinic surgery. Due to the clinic messed up the hotels , we have been send to Centro Hotel. We arrived at 9.30 in the reception and since that hour we have been checked in at 14.00 in our rooms. Since we’ve paid , we should’ve be entitle for the breakfast. Unfortunately no. So me and my wife we have to pay to can get breakfast. The reception staff very very rude. They don’t care and all the time , but their excuse “ we don’t know nothing “ We explained to the reception that we are staying 2 days, after we check out , going to the hospital and after 2 days we will come back to check in. We went hour the first day , we came back we went upstairs , couldn’t open the door , went to reception apparently we have been checked out without to get informed( money , luggages left in the room) Went to the reception “ typical answer : we don’t know nothing “ The receptionist very rude . In the end we have checked in again. Coming back from the hospital , of course we haven’t received the same room , ok no worries , but again very upsetting we received the awful room( toilet door broken , sink drainage smell very bad , walls dirty , furniture chipped ) - suppose to be 5* hotel. Not really I was talking with the reception , nothing has been done. After 1 day I went again downstairs and finally they change our room. Not very impressed. Asked for an extra pillow - 1 day to get it. Food at the hotel- stay away - very expensive and not impressive. Answer for the management: Yes I have complaint and raise my complains, but it takes a while to be solved. In one word , try to avoid this hotel. Disappointed.

The hotel name is actually Istanblu Hotels, we stayed two nights here as it's conveniently located on the M4 Metro line on the Asian side on Istanbul at Bonstanic Station, exit 2. Staff were friendly and helpful they printed off our boarding passes for free and recommend we take the bus 10 to the sea area where there are good restaurants and bars. It's a good quality hotel for the cost and better value than in Taksim.
