"The location is excellent. The front desk staff were also very welcoming. The hotel's breakfast and dinner exceeded my expectations. For this price, I was hoping for something that would just fill my stomach, but the variety and taste were quite good. It's worth mentioning that, like most hotels in Scandinavia, the rooms don't provide slippers (but anyone who's been to Jönköping should know this)."

"My husband and I chose the Deluxe Spa Package and had such a wonderful day at Hooks Herrgård. We started with an amazing breakfast, followed by seven hours of spa time. The package also included lunch and a smoothie, and we really enjoyed following the recommended spa rituals throughout the day. We added massages as well. They were relaxing and enjoyable, although compared with massages we’ve experienced in different parts of the world, we felt they were a little average. That would be our only reason for giving slightly less than five stars. Everything else was beautiful—the atmosphere, peaceful surroundings and gorgeous views made the whole experience feel almost dreamlike. We’re so glad we went and would absolutely recommend it!"

"Top-notch place with a great location, perfectly decent breakfast, and perfectly decent rooms. Maybe don't book families with children facing the street, as it gets extremely noisy out there. The light in the bathroom was broken and couldn't be turned off. It's a shame the hot tub was out of order. The girls at the front desk were fantastic! The food in the restaurant was excellent. We'd happily come back next time we're in town for a volleyball or handball cup :)"
