Everything was perfect. My boyfriend and I stayed there one night and the location and everything can recommend to a third party. The food is really good and the environment is very calming. the location is very easy to access every main location in Kandy. Travelers can view beautiful panoramic views. the staff were very friendly.

Bethel Home-stay is one of the best home-stays i have ever stayed. It is located on a stunning hill at the outskirts of the Kandy city with an exquisite view of entire area. This place offers a tranquil heaven of peace and serenity away from the bustle of the city , but still you can reach the city center within few minutes. There are dozens of tourist destinations in the vicinity including the famous Temple of Tooth Relic, Ceylon tea museum and Hanthana mountain range.The hospitality of the kindhearted owners of this place, which is the cherry on the cake, shows true Sri Lankan identity.

The beds were super, super comfortable and we had the largest room on the top floor with amazing city/hill views from 2 windows. The rooms sizes seem reasonable. The staff were all very lovely and helpful and the location is close to the lake (10 minutes walk). The bathroom was large and the water was hot. Breakfast was nice but expensive and Wi-Fi was excellent. Sadly, The decor of the room was in poor condition and needs redecorating. Wallpaper is peeling and walls are marked. The window blinds were all broken. The pool and surrounding area did not look inviting at all. The pool looks dirty. Such a shame. If they could fix the decor and pool we would have given this 5/5.
