"This is our second year staying at La Signora Boutique Hotel and it was superb once again. Super hotel, friendly and attentive staff and spotlessly clean. We had a mountain view room which meant we could watch as the sun came up over the mountain in the morning - stunning. The breakfast is perfect - plenty of choice and fresh food. The hotel has a wonderful ambience and they make you feel so welcome - Greek night and Jazz night certainly shouldn’t be missed and it’s well worth trying the extensive menu of cocktails!! I cannot express how lovely this hotel is - we will be back for third visit next year!!"

"Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a fantastic 10 day holiday in July 2025 with our children (age 14 - 23). The hotel is so cute with all the different coloured apartments and the rooms are cool (air conditioned), spacious, comfortable and cleaned every morning with fresh linen and towels. All with a beautiful sea view from the balcony. The pool is just perfect, with plenty of space for everyone and always enough sun loungers. There’s also a poolside bar offering snacks, drinks (hot/cold/cocktails) and lunch menu. The buffet breakfast was nice and had plenty of options. It did get busy towards the end of service so we tended to go early and beat the rush. We didn’t have the dinner option as it was very expensive and with better, cheaper options in the nearby town we were happy to venture out for dinner. The town was quite a walk from the hotel so we took advantage of the hotel bus which ran morning - evening. You just need to book at reception, the staff were always extremely accommodating, friendly and helpful. Especially Evelyn - she was an absolute ANGEL and made so much effort to ensure we were happy and had everything we could want and more! I would say it would be beneficial to hire a car as there isn’t much close by and with the temperatures in the high 30s you should ensure it has air conditioning! There is parking across the road from the hotel. As well as two stunning little coves with crystal clear water where our children enjoyed snorkelling to see all the fish. The water was clean and cool - so refreshing on the hottest days. Overall this was a fab holiday that I would recommend. Only thing I would change would be to hire a car so we could travel at our leisure and see more of the island and maybe go slightly earlier or later in the year when it’s not so hot. I also think it would be a great idea for the hotel to have music at the bar in the evenings as it’s such a beautiful spot. There’s lovely seating outside reception overlooking the sea but didn’t ever see anyone serving at that bar. With some music on and a drink with that view it would be just perfect "

"I came here for a week in June with my husband. It delivered on every level. The view was incredible: purple sunsets, clear blue skies. The pace of life was calm and soothing. The food was delicious (we did half board and thought it was excellent value for money). The facilities were great: main pool was pretty, there were always plenty of sun loungers and you could have cocktails (/wonderful draught Alfa beers) delivered to you while you read a book. Other guests were generally respectful of the atmosphere - no loud conversations etc. - and that really helped contribute to the ambiance. The staff could not have been more friendly. The gym was decent enough for a week of workouts. You can take your pool towels down to the beach (where two sun loungers can be yours for 20€ per day) and if you want to rent bikes or a car, the concierge can arrange for them to be delivered to the hotel for you. If you’re looking for a stunning view, excellent facilities, friendly and helpful staff, delicious food, then you would struggle to find much better than this. It’s worth knowing that there are 4-15 flights per day that go overhead, but you get used to them and they don't run late into the night or early in the morning! Oh, and you can get to Argostoli by bus (30ish mins) and the bus stop is 100m from the hotel. Taxis from the airport are mysteriously 20€ (even though it's a 5 min journey) but some drivers are amenable to haggling. If you don’t want to eat lunch at the hotel every day, you can grab a sandwich and a beer from Tropicana, also about 100m from the hotel."

Worth the money to experience beautiful village of Tselendata near the town of Fiscardo. Many small and beautiful beaches (paralias) and some caves in the area. Hiking paths are available there too if you like to hike. Lots of shops, markets, and restaurants in downtown Fiscardo at the port. Bring comfortable running or walking shoes for some exercise, and prepare to eat some good and healthy food."

It was spotlessly clean with fresh towels every day and bed linen changed frequently. The addition of fly screens on all windows and the door was a bonus. Spiros and his staff staff were lovely, both at the apartments and in Hemingway's. Great food and drinks, always fresh and well presented. The sunbeds are really comfortable and a lovely guy came around and took drinks orders. Really can't fault it and we were so impressed, we are looking to book again."

We are almost every meal there and never got tired of it. The best food with local ingredients and a diverse menu. The breakfast was one of best we have ever had. We didn’t use the gym or spa but both looked great too. It’s on a secluded part of the island so a rental car is a must for exploring. See Antisamos Beach and Melissani Caves. Not a “kid focused” hotel, but they were great with our kids."

"What an amazing stay. Diana studios offers the best location on the island. The island is centrally located, it’s a 20min drive from most locations, including Argostoli, Skala and Lassi. It’s a great base for exploring. Diana studios is a great place, lovely and clean, with regular cleaning each day and towel refreshments. The pool is very relaxing and the pool side bar is reasonable priced. The rooms are large and have all the necessary facilities for self catering. The nearby town of Lourdata is only 5minutes away in car and has loads of lovely restraunts and bars. There is also a local town with very nice restaurants which is either a 2minute drive or 30minute walk. Alex and his team are very friendly and couldn’t do more to help out. I highly recommend this place."

"Could say that the title says it all. Which it does, but doesn’t show the whole picture! As a group of 12, then 13, “senior” friends made over many years of footballing adventures, playing and/or watching, Wendy and owner Efie mustn’t really have known what to expect when our booking was made early in the year. Circumstances last summer meant rooms were rather unusually available as it turned out. Luckily for us! From Wendy’s initial greeting, & very helpful later advice whenever required, with rooms soon allocated (sea/pool view for me and my room-mate 😀), very clean btw and kept so by the cleaners, nice cold drinks at the pool bar quickly appeared, served by Theo and Aris, who soon got to know us, along with Costas who appeared later that day. All were extremely friendly, as were the other staff, and we got to know several other guests pretty well during our stay. We were even thanked for providing great entertainment (not planned!) by some! A Rock Music night was put on at our request (though some other music was included as the evening went on…Ernie??? Oh dear!!), & arranging for pizzas and chips for our last (quieter) night watching the England last 16 game. Special thanks from us all go to Wendy for putting up with our humour and banter, and finally Efie, who we didn’t really get to speak to until our farewells were said. Personally, I’d love to return sooner rather than later, but with my wife next time. A much quieter holiday then, maybe even with our daughter too (for Costas that one! 😉😄). Oh yes. Skala itself isn’t bad either!!"

"The hotel has a great location, not far from the beach, and plenty of restaurants nearby. There's a small supermarket to the right of the hotel entrance where you can buy yogurt and other similar items. Behind the hotel is a commercial street where you can shop, but the shop owners are quite casual, and some close very early. The room has a small balcony, not too big or too small. The only drawback is the poorly designed bathroom; the shower is too small, and the toilet paper isn't even next to the toilet! You can arrange airport or ferry pick-up through the hotel on Ctrip, but this will incur an additional fee."

"Great hotel & location just a short walk from the lovely karavamylos taverna 200 yards away to the left and a comfy 20 mins stroll away from Sami with plenty of tavernas & shops. Hotel staff were all lovely and smiling. Breakfast was plentiful. We didn't eat here in the evening as no atmosphere in the bar or restaurant. I did find it quite annoying that the pool was shared with the 3* hotel up the road, especially as there is a 5* climate tax payable here! 105 euro for a 7 night stay! The pool bar regularly ran out of draft beer.. 6 euro for a large beer 5 euro for a 330ml can! Not on really for a 5* "resort plus the 2 euro cover charge if you wanted to eat there,regardless of whether you was staying there or not. Basically, nice hotel, great location & staff... would I stay there again... probably not"

"Hotel is positioned on a beautiful part of the island. The grounds are lush and pool is great. We loved everything here as far as the environment, views, amenities and our room, but the service was quite poor specially with the front desk. Our room was directly by the pool, and two nights in a row live music was playing at the pool restaurant until 11pm, which is great if you are there enjoying it, but not when you have a small child and trying to put them to bed. The next day when I told the front desk member that the music was very loud in our room and we were unable to sleep he just said yes we can play music until 11. When I pushed further and asked if we could be moved the answer was no. And that was that. I was stunned at this terrible customer service. I appreciate the hotel was fully booked but a simple gesture, an apology or sympathy would have gone a long way."

"We had a great week at Sami Beach and will definitely return in a couple of years as still lots of Kefalonia to see, Sami makes a great base for this. As other reviews have said, staff are excellent, very clean everywhere, breakfast good, rooms a decent size, large car park, good pool and beach with loungers, views to die for all round. Sami is a lovely town and we had some great meals out then a lovely walk back along the sea front. One negative for us was that the balconies are very small with no privacy and we were unlucky to have smokers and vapers next door which stopped us from enjoying sitting out a lot of the time. Not sure what can be done other than having one floor smoke free perhaps? All in all a lovely place for a holiday and see you in a couple of years we hope. Barry and Debbie"

"We had a wonderful weeks holiday this month, location is stunning with a little cove beach which is like a little peace of paradise. The staff were all lovely. Our rooms tidied beds made and clean towels everyday. We had a lovely family holiday would return again.Lovely food in the hotel if you want to stay and eat lunch or evening meal. Is a bit of a walk into town but really lovely restaurants ,you can get a taxi for 8 euro or the hotel can give you a transfer for 2 euro each. Pool is lovely with stunning scenery all around."

Lena the manager was always close by to ask if everything was ok, we found the 2 bedroom villa with a pool very relaxing but lacked kitchen space to wash glasses ect. "I had such a wonderful experience at the spa today. Although I’m not staying at the hotel, I booked a massage and I’m so glad I did. My massage therapist, Antonia, was absolutely incredible. She was so friendly and kind, and gave one of the best massages I’ve ever had. I usually go for strong Thai massages, so I wasn’t sure what to expect from a relaxing massage, but it was fantastic. The pressure was perfect, and she really helped ease the pain and tension in my back. I left feeling so much better. I’d also like to thank the lovely receptionist who welcomed me when I arrived. She and Antonia were both so warm and friendly, and they made me feel completely at ease. They also arranged for me to enjoy the sauna and steam room after my treatment, which made the whole experience even more relaxing. Before my massage, I had lunch by the pool, and it was absolutely delicious. The food tasted incredibly fresh, the setting was beautiful, and the service was excellent. A thank you to Chris, who was so helpful and happy to offer advice for the rest of my stay in Kefalonia. I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kefalonia. Even if you’re not staying there, it’s well worth booking a spa treatment and enjoying lunch. I’ll definitely be back!"
