"Hotel is positioned on a beautiful part of the island. The grounds are lush and pool is great. We loved everything here as far as the environment, views, amenities and our room, but the service was quite poor specially with the front desk. Our room was directly by the pool, and two nights in a row live music was playing at the pool restaurant until 11pm, which is great if you are there enjoying it, but not when you have a small child and trying to put them to bed. The next day when I told the front desk member that the music was very loud in our room and we were unable to sleep he just said yes we can play music until 11. When I pushed further and asked if we could be moved the answer was no. And that was that. I was stunned at this terrible customer service. I appreciate the hotel was fully booked but a simple gesture, an apology or sympathy would have gone a long way."

Ionian Emerald Resort

"Very nice hotel, rooms spotless, staff all really pleasant pool area has plenty of beds, breakfast had plenty of choice. The only downside for us was its in a very, very quiet area, with only a couple of restaurants nearby. Dining in at night for us wasn't an option as the dining area is not vey atmospheric, but the menu, if you like to eat in looked ok. Sami can be reached along the beach with a 15 min walk with plenty of tavernas but its not the prettiest of places, we opted to drive to Efimia which has more old world charm."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Apollonian Asterias and would happily return in the future. This hotel is perfect for families. There are multiple relaxation areas, swimming pools, splash park and water park. It is impressive. All areas are kept clean and tidy. We stayed Half Board. The food selection and quality at Breakfast & Dinner was of a very good standard. The Dining Hall itself was very busy but this is to be expected in high season. We received professional and friendly service from Mumtaz and Ivan who deserve a special call out. Thank-you."

"Koxyli is in a very nice, quiet part of the island. There are shops and restaurants within walking distance. The apartment was clean and had all needed amenities. Stavros is maybe the best host I have ever had. He is kind, attentive, helpful, and is willing to make your stay comfortable however he can. I 1000% recommend staying here"

"We were the first guests at this hotel, and spent 10days here we stayed in the swim up sea front room, ( we highly recommend this room to stay) by far the nicest room we have stayed in, it had stunning views which had the sun until late evening , we had the warmest welcome by all the staff, they couldn’t have done more for us, we really enjoyed our stay here it was the perfect chill out location, the hotel was walking distance to a few good restaurants, I would highly recommend renting a car for a few days of your trip too if you like a adventure thanks to everyone at the hotel for our great experience."

"Returned home from a greatv2 week stay. One of our favourites places to stay. Rooms well equipped and clean. Air con was quiet as was the fridge. Pool well maintained, sun beds lush. Highly trained staff, always attentive. We visit this area every year, so we don't stay for dinner every night, but the meals we did have were varied. Breakfast is great. We hope to return next year."

"This hotel exceeded expectations and more. From the arrival greeting and drink to personally being shown to your room was a fabulous start Breakfast, lunch and dinner was amazing, the staff can do nothing more for your to the great bar staff guys and the lovely waitress. Diana is extremely helpful and is Georgia who I like to give a special mention to, she is just an absolute ray of sunshine Rooms and surrounds were immaculate and so very peaceful. It’s a short walk to a quiet beach and a lovely taverna called Denis, there’s also a mini market a short stroll away Do not hesitate to book here, it’s magical"

"We are on day 9 of 11 staying in the Magnolia Hotel Katelios.Wow we picked a great place.Firstly its beautiful to look at, all the rooms have balconys which look out at the mountains,just beautiful.The pool area has plenty of beds,all with umbrellas and never a fight to get one.Bar staff and all the staff in general are happy,polite and very friendly! The rooms are perfect for 2,plenty of cupboards,drawers for clothes,big enough fridge,comfy bed and free A/C.Cleaners work really hard all around the resort.I saw people say breakfast was a let down,it absolutely isnt! Plenty of things on offer,from fruit,greek yogurt,toast,bacon sausage and eggs every day,kept us full until the evening.Its an adults only resort so just perfect for us.The bar is open 11 am til 12pm,with a nice selection of snacks for lunch.A 15 minute stroll to the beach front where all the lovely tavernas are situated.First time in Katelios and will definitely be back! The Magnolia hotel is absolutely fab and we would 100% recommend"
