Recently stayed at this hotel for 1 week, arrived from the Airport with no luggage as Bangkok airways lost it, checked in to the hotel and was met by a lovely member of staff who was waiting for me, she offered me a welcome drink on arrival which was very much appreciated after a long flight. After check in, was shown to my room which was a pool side deluxe room with Double bed and En-suite. Room was very clean, spacious and came with Fresh towels, Toiletries, a Mini fridge stocked with beers, satellite T.V, Aircon and some free drinks/snacks. My stay came with free breakfast every morning, which was very handy and the selection was always really nice. Lots of fresh fruit, cereals, pastries, eggs cooked to the way you wanted along with a choice of tea/coffee and fresh juices. Staff are soo friendly and welcoming, they clean your room everyday and provide fresh sheets and towels as well as toiletries. The Hotel is quite modern and staff had decorated the reception for Chinese New Year with lanterns and fairy lights. The position of the hotel is good, about 10 min drive in a taxi to Fisherman's village, which is full of bars/restaurants and shops. The hotel is also right on the beach, so you have the option to swim in the sea or the pool and look out onto the amazing views. I loved my stay at this hotel and would highly recommend! (Only negative thing I can think of is that the Pool Bar was never open, so it would be good to see this open in the future).

Great Boutique hotel in Chaweng. Excellent value. The room were sparking clean and has everything one needs including beach towels and umbrellas. There is a pool but not gym which is fine. It is centrally located. The breakfast is OK but sufficient. Had a quick dinner meal one night since it was raining and had a long day and did not want to venture out to the many restaurants in the area. There was no one else so we did not have high expectations but the meals were excellent and my friend raved about the drink he got. The entire staff were excellent and so kind. Front desk were efficient and warm. The concierge had GREAT recommendations on tours. We took all the ones she recommended and were not disappointed. This part of Chaweng beach is OK. Not a swimmers beach, more of a just a dip in the ocean place. I was not able to take advantage of the Kayak but did that anyway on one of the tours we took. I love Samui and will definitely return and if staying in Chaweng will definitely want to be at The Stay again.

For a backpacker, it truly doesn’t get better than this. I stayed in a private double room and it was fantastic, clean, modern, with all the amenities you could want (plug sockets by the bed, hangers, hair dryer, balcony and drying rack).
The pool area was a lovely place to sit and I regularly got up for breakfast before 8am. I’d typically be the only one awake at this time. For a sunbed, you’d better be at the pool by 10am for a good spot as it does get busy.
However, there were some downsides. I booked 6 nights and although I loved it, the construction noise from the plot of land next door was unbearable. 8am to 8pm, drilling, banging, hammering, shouting. You could hear it from the pool too, so not exactly the “relaxing” stay I could’ve got by staying in a resort 2 doors down.
I was also disappointed that the beach terrace was closed for the duration of my stay. They said maintenance was working to fix it but I never saw anyone working. I was really hoping to sit on those hammocks over the ocean.
The WiFi also cut out every day and I needed to get a new passcode 4 times throughout my stay. Not great for remote workers.
Although; staff were friendly, food delicious, and great nightlife vibes in the heart of Chaweng Beach. Definitely would stay again… but not until that construction is complete.

The large hotel has modern and very clean rooms and a very good room service. The TV in my room did not work.
The swimming pool is very nice but unfortunately there is no gym available.
You can rent a motorbike there for 300 baht per day (quite expensive) but unfortunately the staff there is not easy to reach when you wanna return the bike. You can park the bike at the nearby Central shopping mall which is quite complicated because the parking space is very narrow.
All in all I would recommend the hotel!

This is my favorite hotel ever Holiday Inn Samui. Perfectly Breakfast, Fully furnished room, Big swimming pool, Kids playground, Kids Club and etc.I have to mention this; we met ‘Khun Nim’ at the great breakfast restaurant and she took our family to the Kid club… After 3 days our child almost sleep there. They’ve got 3 or 4 staffs am not sure to take care of your children and also break time to clean the room, toys and etc. For parents are perfect cause you can leave them there, some information paper to sign, just don’t worry they’ve lots of activities for your children; playing, listening, watching, painting, drawing and climbing. We need more time here.

The Sheraton Samui Resort is an absolute gem. Set amidst a vast, green landscape, it's a paradise for those who love to explore, and if you'd rather ride, the buggies are just a call away. The breakfasts were a hit – a scrumptious spread of European and local dishes that got us started for the day. Our room was not just comfortable, but it also boasted a stylish bathtub on the terrace and a fabulous view. For the kids, the resort was an endless adventure. Between the awesome camp set in the room and the kid's room filled with activities (our son particularly enjoyed the crafts), they were in seventh heaven. We loved the cool stone pool and the variety of beachside activities – from kayaking to stand-up paddle boarding, all available free of charge. And if you're into some friendly competition, there's a ping-pong table too. With two pools to choose from, one lively and family-friendly and the other more tranquil, there's something for everyone. And the beachside bar and restaurant? A great spot for some downtime. Being close to Central Samui and other attractions was just the cherry on top. Highly recommended!

Away from the hustle of central Chaweng, so is a good spot to be based for quiet times and used as a base to explore the island. Beachfront pool villas are nice, large and great views of the ocean. Private pool is a bonus and well worth the upgrade. Hotel was busy when I stayed and everyone seemed to be happy and enjoying themselves. The pool isn’t the largest but plentiful for the amount of rooms. Don’t forget, there are the villas with private pools, so a fair number of guests will be in their own area. Access to the beach is not directly in front of the hotel, but that’s a good thing otherwise I would be hearing everyone in front of my villa each day. Access is the side of the resort just past the restaurant. Along this stretch of beach has a few other hotel bars and restaurants to eat and drink in and if you head to the furtherest headland point, and head inland, you will come across a handful of bars and restaurants. As many people have said, the hotel is next to a road - but like most hotels in Samui, it’s just the design of the island. You can avoid the main road for your walk to the local area by going along the stretch of beach. And when you are on the island, why wouldn’t you want to walk along the beach?! So don’t listen to those comments about nothing nearby. If you want the hustle of the nightlife, Chaweng central is 15 minutes away. Get on the shuttle or order a taxi for 300thb. It’s a 4 star hotel, trying to get back to some kind of normal after covid and over time, I am sure the owners will reinvest their money to make improvements where some other guests have commented about in other posts but I do think it is dependent on the room type you book and/or are assigned as most of them are fine. Give it a go, it is worth it. I’ve been to many hotels over the years - more than the average Joe - and it’s only recently where I’ve checked in and out of two hotels on the same day in all these years.

This is a luxury resort. Our Jacuzzi deluxe ocean view room is beautiful and comfortable, good in size with a jacuzzi hot tub in the balcony. The hotel gives quests the warmest hospitality, from carefully made welcome desserts, fruits, snacks, and more than you can drink, nice brands of tonics, sodas, and fruit juices, and those will be refilled once every day. In some promotion booking plans, quests can have a set of free afternoon tea for two, however, it is enough even for 4 persons. All services are nice, and many extra items can be provided on request. The hotel has 4 restaurants, all have beautiful ocean views, with very nice settings in very relaxing atmospheres. The hotel has 2 infinity pools, and one beach, with comfortable, creative pool chairs. Everything in this hotel is really enjoyable, and we had a wonderful time during our stay.

PPengguna TetamuI read many reviews about this resort and studied the Mantra Samui website, but never learned until after I booked (4 nights stay) my room that they had cancelled , during Covid, the regular shuttle that took guests down the hill to Fisherman Villa. I learned this because I called the hotel before my trip to ask some questions and also ask how to reserve a place on their shuttle. The resort does have one auto/driver that will drive you down to the bottom of the hill if it is there, and if it is not picking up someone at the airport. The shuttle delivers you directly to the bottom of the hill, is pretty much is just a local road. Then you can wave down a taxi and negotiate the price. Some fun! The Mantra Sumai should update their website to say the regular shuttle has been cancelled, and replaced by their maybe available one car. Continuing my story... We booked a massage at another hotel that is about 20 minutes away, and gave ourselves one hour to get there. So the night before we reserved to get the ride down to the bottom of the hill for the next day afternoon. When we went to reception, we were informed there was an accident, which was a flat tire, and the tire 'might' be fixed in half an hour and then another 20 minutes to get back to the Mantra. They apparently felt no responsibility to contact us. Just wait for the guests to show up and then tell them. They felt no responsibility to call the driver for any update. They then offered to call a taxi, but that would take about 20 minutes to arrive. Also when you call a taxi there is no opportunity for negotiation. My hour was dwindling. Well 20 is better than maybe 30 + 20 minutes. So they called the taxi. Luckily the Mantra driver showed up after 15 minutes, and the taxi was cancelled. My conclusion, after all the interfaces with reception, is they have a poor sense of responsibility and lacking the ability for logical thinking to provide a good guest experience. There are other examples beyond the above. Our suite room was in good condition, and everything functioning. Well, except the phone did not work, but I did not need that. The suite has a king size bed and a separate built in bed in the back of the living room. OK, so 4 people can stay. But the flaw in the suites is there is only a 2 person love seat to sit on. There is no chair, and no desk. It is no fun to use your laptop when the coffee table level is below your knees. A simple 4 leg table for a desk, and a simple chair would be nice, and not cost very much. They do have an on-site co-work room somewhere, but I did not use it. I think it is an extra cost and I did not have that much work to do anyway. The highlight of the Mantra Samui was the included breakfast. There are many cooked to order choices plus a buffet of juices, fruits, cereals, yogurt, pastries, and several breads you can toast yourself. I would even rate this as the best hotel experience I've had in recent years with full marks given to the hospitality of the staff, amazing views and great rooms. My wife and I had the best time during our 3D2N recent trip to Conrad Koh Samui where we booked a villa for 2 pax. The hotel is situated at an amazing location with legendary views of the sea and sunset from your own villa, which has a private infinity pool for us to lounge around. Despite it's age, the villa is maintained in a great condition and recent refurbishments which I understood took place during the COVID19 years further enhanced our experience of staying at the Conrad Koh Samui. Most of all, what made our stay so great was the hospitality of the staff on site. Everyone we spoke to was friendly and welcoming. Special shout out to Jack Huang (Assistant Guest Relations Manager), who reached out to us via email prior to our arrival and kept in touch with us via whatsapp (almost on a 24 hrs basis) to ensure that we had everything we needed throughout our stay. He made my wife and I feel welcomed from the first minute we stepped onto the resort, addressing us by our names each time he sees us, making us feel like we are old friends of his. Even after we have left, he made arrangements to mail us an item which we left behind at the hotel despite his busy schedule. We are highly appreciative of him and his team for taking such good care of us during our stay and their hospitality is definitely one of the reasons why our stay is highly memorable! If you are looking for a place to unwind, I would definitely recommend staying a few days at the Conrad Koh Samui!

L’hôtel contenant peu de chambre, une réelle relation amicale et chaleureuse l’établie rapidement entre les collaborateurs et les clients. Le personnel est adorable et aux petits soins. Le petit déjeuner exceptionnel copieux et varié pour tous les goûts et de très bonne qualité avec des viennoiseries faites maison par un boulanger français de Koh Samui. La nourriture est succulente aussi bien thaï que européenne. Olivier le patron est très dévoué ainsi que la manager de l’hôtel et sont de très bons conseils. L’endroit est un petit coin de paradis. Nous garderons de très bons souvenirs de nôtres séjour et y retournerons sans aucun problème lors de notre prochain séjour sur Koh Samui.

We stayed at the hotel for 7 nights and each day we became more and more relaxed, choosing to have most of our meals there, and to spend our days between the pool and the sea. The hotel has a lunch time happy hour special on their Thai dishes, which are delicious and come in generous portions. We did the Thai cooking course with the head chef and that was a really fun way to spend a morning. The staff were friendly and helpful and the whole place has a really good vibe. You can tell they are trying to up their game post-COVID. I would definitely recommend it.

Breakfast very good. I have worked and stayed in many 4 and 5 star hotels and this is definitely one of my top favourites now. Thank you for a lovely stay.

PPengguna TetamuWe were welcomed to the island by Beer and Dew. So accommodating and welcoming. Location is amazing, so many great lookouts. Beach and pool area are something very special. Yok and Guy looked after us at the pool area by the Hue restaurant. Towels, sunscreen, Evian water spray and fresh fruit immediately on arrival. Hue staff were very welcoming and looked after us extremely well. Special thanks to Sao, Za, Keng and Patsi. Patsi was very pleasant and made sure our needs were taken care of. Thank you all for a wonderful last four days of our honeymoon. We wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you so much.

Ideal location Super friendly staff who helped us on where to eat ! The room was clean however the bathroom shower leaked . The beach is very close by walking distance. If you are interested in hiring a motorcycle then the hotel will be able to sort it for you which is really helpful.
