"A wonderful hotel with great value for money! The rooms are spacious and very clean. There is a separate set of towels for the pool and the beach. Yes, the furniture is not new, but it is good quality. The balcony is spacious, and we had a lovely view of greenery, palm trees, and even a field with a real buffalo 😊 The hotel staff are very friendly, and laundry service can be arranged at the reception desk. There is a Top’s supermarket nearby, and if you walk uphill from the hotel, you’ll find a place called Food Corner, which we highly recommend. The beach is only a 5-minute walk away, which is very convenient. Since Chaweng has very few beach access points due to dense beachfront development, this is a big plus. Some reviews mention that the hotel has its own sunbeds on the beach, although we didn’t use them. The main street is also about a 5-minute walk away, or you can easily get there by tuk-tuk."

"Great hotel for adults. Excellent hilltop views of the sea with a pool that was perfectly perched. The garden or sea view villas with a large balcony for sunbathing and the huge room were a highlight. However, the staff were the winners. My husband fell walking down the steps from our villa as lighting was dim and thankfully he managed to break his fall and only ended up with some bruises and cuts. When he told the staff, they were extremely kind and said they would feedback to management about improving the night lighting around the villa. Ying from Reception immediately took out a first aid box and helped clean my husband's cuts on his arm. She was a gem throughout our four night stay. In fact all the staff were well trained, friendly, helpful, and service was efficient and polite. Do note that there are no bathroom amenities in the villa, you will need to help yourself to the toothbrushes etc from the reception. Hotel buggy is on call 24 hours to pick you up from your villa to the lobby. Hotel shuttle runs twice a day from the hotel to three popular spots downtown (as its not walkable from the hotel since Mantra is located uphill). Breakfast is semi buffet with ala carte mains - the riceberry fried rice was awesome. More lights around the exterior of the villa would be helpful and soft closing of the bathroom sliding doors and the WC cover could be looked into. Other than that, Mantra Samui is highly recommended."

"Bilik kecil dan murah. Cukup bersih. Balkoni besar. Reka bentuk tandas yang agak pelik) Dan tidak jelas bagaimana restoran itu berfungsi. Dah tutup pukul 5. Tapi pukul 4 tak boleh makan kat situ. Rupa-rupanya, ia bertujuan untuk sarapan pagi) Restoran jiran, pada pendapat saya, tidak sedap, tetapi pada masa yang sama harganya lebih tinggi. Tetapi teluk di tempat ini tidak berjaya. Kotor. Hotel ini terletak di sudut paling teluk dan terdapat juga tanah kosong berdekatan. Tiada siapa yang membersihkan di sana. "This is a wonderful property. The rooms organized are very spacious and the showers are the best that I have experienced with the water pressure and the size of the shower. The bed could stand to be softer because it's doesn't have any cushion for the top level so it wasn't for the standards that I would like. A few issues I had was for the restaurant breakfast that there were no focused fans and it was very hot and humid even though it was in the open air. Sweating while eating breakfast dead 7:30 in the morning doesn't need to be that uncomfortable if they would put some focused fans would make such a difference. 2nd issue a parking attendant on the night of April 12th and 13th was not helpful at all, he sat at his chair and didn't guide where to park or assist with the traffic or parking, after I park my car and shut off the engine then he came to me and told me to move it forward more...why didn't he do his job when it required him to do so, plus he was not smiling (not polite for both my Thai partner and I). 3rd issue is regarding maid didn't change our sheet for our 3rd night. We put 4 pillows on the floor and stripped the bed cover before we left the room, so the maid can see the stains on the bed. We return to the room about 7pm and our bed was just cover it back up without changing the sheet plus non of the coffee items and bathroom items were replinished. Both of us enjoy this property location, view, pool, breakfast, all other staffs were very nice and polite including other parking attendant, except what we mentioned."

"The gold of this place is the staff! Staff was very helpful! I hope managment pays more attention to the infrastructure of the hotel. Hotel is near the beach but close to the road. So make sure u get a villa, not a room if u don't like motor noise. Our room was upgraded but the noise was unbelievable. However staff tried to help and showed us other rooms.Place had better days for sure. Breakfast was good. Pools and other facilities are okish. Internet in our room was almost 10%. Over all it is ok true 3 star hotel. Again staff was fantastic!"

"Seaview suit, the room was very nice but there was a palm tree block a bit of Seaview. Location is 10 mins walk away from central samui shopping mall. The beach was just a footstep away where u could enjoy both pool n beach at the same time, however the beach wasn’t ideal to swim due to the big sea currents (maybe it’s a winter season I think) Breakfast was ok, not many varieties but could get u full."

TTutti.ToeteeReview: A Beautiful, Design-Led Oasis in Fisherman’s Village We recently stayed at the Hansar Samui, and it is truly a beautiful property with a thoughtful design. The location is perfect—just a short, pleasant stroll away from Fisherman’s Village, making it easy to explore the local area while still feeling like you have a quiet retreat to return to. The Highlights Dining Experience: The breakfast was a standout. I particularly appreciated having eggs made fresh to order; there is nothing worse than pre-cooked, rubbery eggs left under heat lamps, so this was a huge bonus for me. The Vibe: The swimming pool is lovely, and the beach is kept very clean. The hotel maintains a relaxed atmosphere, complemented by a great selection of background music. Service & Little Touches: The staff were incredibly welcoming and kind. I loved the ”turn-down” service around 5:00 PM, where housekeeping brought little chocolates and water—an adorable touch that made us feel looked after. Facilities: The gym is clean and well-maintained. Crucially for those working remotely, the Wi-Fi was excellent and reliable enough for me to take Zoom meetings without any issues. Room Design: The rooms are beautifully decorated with stunning balconies and views. The bathroom was a highlight, especially the large rainfall shower. Room Comfort & Maintenance We did have a significant issue with the bed. The mattresses are very soft, which didn't suit us at all as my husband has a bad back. It made sleeping quite difficult. However, the staff were wonderful and tried their best to accommodate us; they helped remove the mattress so we could sleep on the wooden base with just the mattress topper. While not ”luxury” comfort, it was much better for his back than the soft mattress. We also had a few issues with a temperamental toilet flush, but to the hotel's credit, maintenance was very prompt in coming to fix it each time. Dining & Logistics We had dinner at the restaurant one evening, ordering the Massaman curry and Chicken Panang. While the food was edible, it was just ”okay”—we were perhaps expecting a bit more given how high the quality of breakfast was. That said, the view from the restaurant in the evening is spectacular, and they occasionally have lovely entertainment. One small hiccup occurred when we booked a taxi through the hotel to take us to the pier for our trip to Koh Phangan. The driver unfortunately dropped us at the wrong port. We had to quickly catch a Grab to the correct one, but luckily we made it just in time for our ferry. Overall Despite a few minor glitches, this was a wonderful stay. The aesthetic of the hotel is gorgeous, and the professionalism of the staff ensures that any issues are handled quickly. I would definitely recommend Hansar for anyone looking for a stylish and relaxed stay in Samui!

PPengguna TetamuGood location at chaweng beach, the most lively beach on the island. I got upgraded (later after checking in to one room) for my birthday gift, to a better room near the pool. The lady at reception name mama recommended a good local restaurant to us. Cheap and delicious. Just at the hotel front, the gelato and cake shop, is so nice. The bed was okay but the bird sounds near the room a bit disturbed our sleep. So sad that we didnt get a chance to taste the breakfast, coz we have to leave for morning flight. The hotel is just about 15 min away from the airpot, good for those who planned morning flight

SStephy007Another Amari disappointing stay. first was amari hua hin and 2nd is this hotel. stayed in amari koh samui for 4nights, we just got back from koh samui a few days ago. location wise sure cant deny that, it's by the beach front, 5 mins drive away from central koh samui mall and walking from the night life but so does other resorts around the area. when you get to the hotel specially after paying so much per night and to be classified as a 5 star hotel, you expect a good service, a 5 star service. Specially when the first point of contact to the customer service is the front staffs, however very disappointing. Most, if not all of the staffs doesnt seem to smile at all. We arrived early so we had lunch first and sure they managed to give us earlier check in at almost 2pm, their check in is at 3pm. we let it go perhaps we were just too tired and sensitive as we just arrived in koh samui and it was humid, however, throughout our stay their customer service was absolutely lacking. VERY LACKING. specially a few staffs driving the buggy service, we even had an accident one time when we were on our way back to the room, one of the driver drove so fast, THEY ALL DRIVE REALLY FAST, and he rammed onto one of the on coming buggy, i was holding my baby so tight. luckily nothing happened to us. same buggy driver who was had a grumpy look the entire stay and we saw him throwing luggages on to the buggy instead of handling them with care. so when you are taking a buggy, tell them to drive slow. the room, we booked a connecting room, which was a mistake. booking 2 rooms would have been cheaper but anyhow, the room was not clean at all, the bathtub was moldy the floors felt dirty and there were alot of mosquitos every single day. first day we arrived we killed 10 mosquitos in one room whats up with that. breakfast had good selections, they have 3 pools around the resorts as it is a big resort best one is the one over looking the beach, kid friendly pool. they have kids room, not that big just a small room.. anyway overall would i come back here in Amari Koh Samui, absolutely NOT. Would i recommend amari koh samui, absolutely NOT. if you want to stay in a beach front, there are alot of beach front resorts near amari and around the area check that out.. they did something nice from my baby;s birthday, decorated the mirror and gave cake so i appreciated that. with kids i would recommend hyatt koh samui, they are friendlier to kids and service is top notch. we moved there after amari THANK GOODNESS

UuulissiVery nice stay, the hotel is off the beaten path, with very small private beach. 10 minutes walk to lamai beach. Very clean and beautiful room, spacious, comfortable, and quiet. Nice pools. The breakfast was good, with both buffet and a la carte, quick service. Staff was lovely. The food was not really an highlight tho, would recommend going to the small town.

They do give free soft drinks in the mini bar fridge and have some snacks in the room without pay. They have a temporary gym outside but do offer a transfer round trip to another well equipped gym (10 min drive) The resort itself is beautiful and the staff was very nice and very helpful. Where we stayed, we didn’t hear the construction . One pool is very close and you can hear it but if you go to the second pool, it was very quiet. We had an amazing stay!

MMoonloverThe hotel has a private beach, a swimming pool, the location is great, there are a lot of restaurants and massage places near the restaurant. Lamai night market also is a walking distance. The restaurant by the beach is great, we enjoyed the breakfast by the sea, the prices at the restaurant are a bit pricey but having a coconut juice by the beach is worth it. The amenities overall were good, 4 stars for cleanness because the air con was dirty inside out. The dust was visible on the top of AC and the air wasn’t fresh.

We stayed for a couple of nights and loved the variety of included activities, from morning yoga and Muay Thai to circuit classes, paddle boarding, and snorkeling—all very well organized. The restaurant was excellent; we enjoyed the ”Taste of Northern Thailand” dinner, and the breakfast buffet was one of the best we’ve had. The staff was amazing, incredibly friendly, and attentive to every detail. Highly recommend this relaxing retreat!

But a few things important to relate, the bed was very hard, mattress uncomfortable, pillows flat, bed sheets old. After 5 nights spent there, both my gf and I suffered from back pain. Then the socket on the bed side table was broken, on our last night, the water stopped when I was right in the middle of showering and the toilets were clogged from time to time. Lastly there was way too much chlorine inside our private pool.
