Scenery was needless to say - beautiful and serene.
Service was 100/100. Truly enjoyed every moment and were well taken care of from check in, to villa, to joining spa/ all activities until the moment of checking out.
Special thanks to the recreation staff Jate, who took us for a walk around the hotel, sailed us out to the ocean and took lots of nice photos! Very kind hearted and humorous!
Shout out to our villa host, Abby, who curated a memorable stay for us, giving my fiance a special birthday surprise, and always taking care of us for our itinerary and booking transportation/ restaurants!
Thanks to the in-villa dining staff, Bungie, for hosting us a memorable private dining experience at the infinity point.
Spa was good as always, with nice villa for each couple and outstanding service and massage skills, as well as well-being rituals.
10/10 recommend and would definitely come back!

We recently stayed at the Hansar Samui, and it is truly a beautiful property with a thoughtful design. The location is perfect—just a short, pleasant stroll away from Fisherman’s Village, making it easy to explore the local area while still feeling like you have a quiet retreat to return to.
The Highlights
Dining Experience: The breakfast was a standout. I particularly appreciated having eggs made fresh to order; there is nothing worse than pre-cooked, rubbery eggs left under heat lamps, so this was a huge bonus for me.
The Vibe: The swimming pool is lovely, and the beach is kept very clean. The hotel maintains a relaxed atmosphere, complemented by a great selection of background music.
Service & Little Touches: The staff were incredibly welcoming and kind. I loved the ”turn-down” service around 5:00 PM, where housekeeping brought little chocolates and water—an adorable touch that made us feel looked after.
Facilities: The gym is clean and well-maintained. Crucially for those working remotely, the Wi-Fi was excellent and reliable enough for me to take Zoom meetings without any issues.
Room Design: The rooms are beautifully decorated with stunning balconies and views. The bathroom was a highlight, especially the large rainfall shower.
Room Comfort & Maintenance
We did have a significant issue with the bed. The mattresses are very soft, which didn't suit us at all as my husband has a bad back. It made sleeping quite difficult. However, the staff were wonderful and tried their best to accommodate us; they helped remove the mattress so we could sleep on the wooden base with just the mattress topper. While not ”luxury” comfort, it was much better for his back than the soft mattress.
We also had a few issues with a temperamental toilet flush, but to the hotel's credit, maintenance was very prompt in coming to fix it each time.
Dining & Logistics
We had dinner at the restaurant one evening, ordering the Massaman curry and Chicken Panang. While the food was edible, it was just ”okay”—we were perhaps expecting a bit more given how high the quality of breakfast was. That said, the view from the restaurant in the evening is spectacular, and they occasionally have lovely entertainment.
One small hiccup occurred when we booked a taxi through the hotel to take us to the pier for our trip to Koh Phangan. The driver unfortunately dropped us at the wrong port. We had to quickly catch a Grab to the correct one, but luckily we made it just in time for our ferry.
Overall
Despite a few minor glitches, this was a wonderful stay. The aesthetic of the hotel is gorgeous, and the professionalism of the staff ensures that any issues are handled quickly. I would definitely recommend Hansar for anyone looking for a stylish and relaxed stay in Samui!

- NOISE. Be prepared to sleep only at 2am. This is Koh Samui’s party area. The resort hotel is right in it. Major bars. We heard the music loud. Hotel does its best but really its the outside noise. Good for those wanting party nights.
- cleaning: its average. We need high cleaning, so most might find acceptable. They dont clean toilets daily!
Everything runs on APP. So if you want service you need your phone with you. If you like us, wanting to get rid of life whilst on holiday, then bring a spare phone!

В пешей доступности есть пара кафе, но мы в них не ходили, народу в них тоже не наблюдалось, ну разве что пару раз видели несколько фарангов, которые завтракали. Репорт предлагает доставку на пляж и обратно по определенным часам. Про цену не помню: то ли бесплатно, то ли за символическую платную совсем низкую. Завтраки тоже предлагали заказывать с доставкой на виллу: это конечно дороже, чем в обычном кафе, но все же доступно. Мы этой услугой не пользовались, так как пришлось бы заранее планировать время завтрака (зачем?). Пляж… мы проживали во время дневных отливов, потому ничего хорошего про море не скажу, а сам пляж чистый и почти безлюдный.
Сюрпризы: бронировали виллу с тремя спальнями и гостиной + бассейн. При просмотре фото номеров ( во время бронирования) никак не мог понять расположение комнаты а также не мог понять приватность бассейна. Будет ли бассейн только нашими или его надо будет делить с гостями из какой-то другой виллы. Даже в Гугл мапс «погулял», но так до конца и не понял. По прибытию Приятно удивило то, что эта самая вилла состоит из двух отдельных домовую между которыми расположен бассейн ( не маленький, средних размеров). Один дом состоит из двух спален с отдельными входами и отдельными сан узлами, а другой дом сострит из огромной гостиной, столовой, кухни и спальни + 2 сан узла. Грандиозно! Еще патио.
Из минусов: не очень стабильный wi fi, телевизор задумчивый. Пожалуй все. Еще кондиционеры не так быстро охлаждают, как хотелось бы, но это вина конструктива зданий. Огромная площадь остекления которое выполнено в одиночном исполнении из дерева. Угли в будущем поставить нормальный алюминиевые конструкции со стеклопакетами, то можно будет добиться лучшего эффекта от кондиционеров+ сэкономить на электроэнергии и улучшить звукоизоляцию. Тем не менее кондиционеры вполне справляются со своей задачей. Практически всегда было тихо.
В целом все ок. Денег своих это место стоит. Хозяйка по имени Лана очень доброжелательна и безупречно говорит на русском.

stayed in amari koh samui for 4nights, we just got back from koh samui a few days ago.
location wise sure cant deny that, it's by the beach front, 5 mins drive away from central koh samui mall and walking from the night life but so does other resorts around the area.
when you get to the hotel specially after paying so much per night and to be classified as a 5 star hotel, you expect a good service, a 5 star service. Specially when the first point of contact to the customer service is the front staffs, however very disappointing. Most, if not all of the staffs doesnt seem to smile at all. We arrived early so we had lunch first and sure they managed to give us earlier check in at almost 2pm, their check in is at 3pm. we let it go perhaps we were just too tired and sensitive as we just arrived in koh samui and it was humid, however, throughout our stay their customer service was absolutely lacking. VERY LACKING. specially a few staffs driving the buggy service, we even had an accident one time when we were on our way back to the room, one of the driver drove so fast, THEY ALL DRIVE REALLY FAST, and he rammed onto one of the on coming buggy, i was holding my baby so tight. luckily nothing happened to us. same buggy driver who was had a grumpy look the entire stay and we saw him throwing luggages on to the buggy instead of handling them with care. so when you are taking a buggy, tell them to drive slow.
the room, we booked a connecting room, which was a mistake. booking 2 rooms would have been cheaper but anyhow, the room was not clean at all, the bathtub was moldy the floors felt dirty and there were alot of mosquitos every single day. first day we arrived we killed 10 mosquitos in one room whats up with that.
breakfast had good selections, they have 3 pools around the resorts as it is a big resort best one is the one over looking the beach, kid friendly pool. they have kids room, not that big just a small room.. anyway overall would i come back here in Amari Koh Samui, absolutely NOT. Would i recommend amari koh samui, absolutely NOT. if you want to stay in a beach front, there are alot of beach front resorts near amari and around the area check that out..
they did something nice from my baby;s birthday, decorated the mirror and gave cake so i appreciated that.
with kids i would recommend hyatt koh samui, they are friendlier to kids and service is top notch. we moved there after amari THANK GOODNESS

NNatti.DTMJust wanted to drop and share my experience about my stay at the Beachfront hotel on private island. Honestly, staff were super friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The room was cozy and over was had a great view of ocean Plus, the complimentary breakfast was a nice touch. Our dinner was fabulous at Longdtai restaurant, Overall, it was a fantastic experience on private island, and I can’t wait to go back for next vacation.

UuulissiVery nice stay, the hotel is off the beaten path, with very small private beach. 10 minutes walk to lamai beach. Very clean and beautiful room, spacious, comfortable, and quiet. Nice pools. The breakfast was good, with both buffet and a la carte, quick service. Staff was lovely. The food was not really an highlight tho, would recommend going to the small town.

PPengguna TetamuThe resort is under going through construction.they did give a resort credit for the inconvenience and had a happy hour with some snacks and limited alcohol and soft drinks. They do give free soft drinks in the mini bar fridge and have some snacks in the room without pay.
They have a temporary gym outside but do offer a transfer round trip to another well equipped gym (10 min drive)
The resort itself is beautiful and the staff was very nice and very helpful.
Where we stayed, we didn’t hear the construction .
One pool is very close and you can hear it but if you go to the second pool, it was very quiet.
We had an amazing stay!

MMarielleeGarrya Tonsay Bay was a beautiful and peaceful oasis on Koh Samui! We stayed for a couple of nights and loved the variety of included activities, from morning yoga and Muay Thai to circuit classes, paddle boarding, and snorkeling—all very well organized. The restaurant was excellent; we enjoyed the ”Taste of Northern Thailand” dinner, and the breakfast buffet was one of the best we’ve had. The staff was amazing, incredibly friendly, and attentive to every detail. Highly recommend this relaxing retreat!

Kolam renang di dalam bilik adalah lebih daripada cukup untuk 2 orang dewasa, tetapi kolam renang utama hotel agak nipis. Kolam renang tidak sebaik hotel lain di tepi laut.
Biliknya besar, wifi cepat, dan katilnya selesa. Terdapat banyak nyamuk di kawasan kolam celup, dan tandas juga agak janggal kerana tidak tertutup sepenuhnya. Hanya ada kepala pancuran, tiada kain lap pergigian dan bekalan pembersihan lain, jadi jangan lupa bawa sendiri.
Sarapan pagi mengenyangkan, tapi jangan minta banyak sangat, ragam pun tak banyak.
Pantai yang bertentangan dengan hotel ini sangat cetek dan jelas, jadi sangat selamat untuk bermain dengan kanak-kanak.
Kakitangan hotel sangat sopan dan rakan sekerja kaunter penerimaan tetamu juga sangat membantu.
