From the moment we arrived at Marasca, we knew we were in for something special. The resort is very well-secured at the entrance, giving us peace of mind right away. The front office team was simply superb—friendly, efficient, and attentive in just the right way.
Our porter was quick to assist with our luggage, no fuss, no wait—just seamless service. Although early check-in wasn’t available when we arrived, the hotel’s app made all the difference. Through the app, we could explore the resort, make requests, and track our room status. Eventually, we received a notification that our room was ready—such a convenient system!
The room itself? Immaculate! Spotless and thoughtfully designed with a massive bed, a sparkling clean shower area, a cozy separate seating space, and an automated toilet that lifts the cover for you. No-touch toilet seat? That’s a huge bonus!
We were also greeted with a delightful welcome basket in the room, packed with special drinks, snacks, and even a handwritten postcard by the General Manager. It was such a warm and personal touch—it’s hard not to fall in love with the place instantly.
We did try the spa, and while it’s on the pricier side, the service and facilities were absolutely worth every penny—top-notch from start to finish.
Cabanas, the beach club at Marasca, is another highlight. Ultra-chilled vibes, beautifully designed with lush greenery, comfy furniture, and a view that opens right up to Chaweng Beach. It was the perfect place to unwind.
Breakfast? Impressive. A great mix of Western and Asian dishes, plus a healthy spread of salads, pastries, yogurt, juices, and smoothies. The little touches like free healthy shots in the morning and ice cream in the afternoon truly made our stay even more enjoyable!
Marasca also offers daily activities for guests, so you’ll never run out of things to do.
To sum it all up: this is, hands down, the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Huge shoutout to the amazing team—Mo, Tony, Ja, Chet, Jenny, Puppup, Andy, Pui, Golf, and the rest whose names I can’t recall. Your teamwork and hospitality were unforgettable.
We will definitely be coming back. See you again, Marasca!

NNatti.DTMJust wanted to drop and share my experience about my stay at the Beachfront hotel on private island. Honestly, staff were super friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The room was cozy and over was had a great view of ocean Plus, the complimentary breakfast was a nice touch. Our dinner was fabulous at Longdtai restaurant, Overall, it was a fantastic experience on private island, and I can’t wait to go back for next vacation.

SsimpleologistThe location was great considering it is only 20 mins from the airport and near the famous Bo Phut/Fisherman's shopping street (walking distance). However, the whole stay experience was average. We were given the ground floor having paid the more expensive price for the sea view. The heater wasn't functioning on the first day (they later fixed it). There were mosquitoes inside the room which I had quite a few bites from them on my face. The room's lighting was quite dark. The layout is not to my liking (there is no door to the bathroom, so the aircon temp affects the bathroom). The cleaner did not change our bathroom floor mat for 3 nights, and the cleaner only changed our bath towels once (we stayed for 3 nights). Overall, it was not satisfactory considering the price we paid and this is actually a 5-star hotel.

В пешей доступности есть пара кафе, но мы в них не ходили, народу в них тоже не наблюдалось, ну разве что пару раз видели несколько фарангов, которые завтракали. Репорт предлагает доставку на пляж и обратно по определенным часам. Про цену не помню: то ли бесплатно, то ли за символическую платную совсем низкую. Завтраки тоже предлагали заказывать с доставкой на виллу: это конечно дороже, чем в обычном кафе, но все же доступно. Мы этой услугой не пользовались, так как пришлось бы заранее планировать время завтрака (зачем?). Пляж… мы проживали во время дневных отливов, потому ничего хорошего про море не скажу, а сам пляж чистый и почти безлюдный.
Сюрпризы: бронировали виллу с тремя спальнями и гостиной + бассейн. При просмотре фото номеров ( во время бронирования) никак не мог понять расположение комнаты а также не мог понять приватность бассейна. Будет ли бассейн только нашими или его надо будет делить с гостями из какой-то другой виллы. Даже в Гугл мапс «погулял», но так до конца и не понял. По прибытию Приятно удивило то, что эта самая вилла состоит из двух отдельных домовую между которыми расположен бассейн ( не маленький, средних размеров). Один дом состоит из двух спален с отдельными входами и отдельными сан узлами, а другой дом сострит из огромной гостиной, столовой, кухни и спальни + 2 сан узла. Грандиозно! Еще патио.
Из минусов: не очень стабильный wi fi, телевизор задумчивый. Пожалуй все. Еще кондиционеры не так быстро охлаждают, как хотелось бы, но это вина конструктива зданий. Огромная площадь остекления которое выполнено в одиночном исполнении из дерева. Угли в будущем поставить нормальный алюминиевые конструкции со стеклопакетами, то можно будет добиться лучшего эффекта от кондиционеров+ сэкономить на электроэнергии и улучшить звукоизоляцию. Тем не менее кондиционеры вполне справляются со своей задачей. Практически всегда было тихо.
В целом все ок. Денег своих это место стоит. Хозяйка по имени Лана очень доброжелательна и безупречно говорит на русском.

PPengguna TetamuHousekeeping was not up to expectations, on day 2 after housekeeping, 2 pairs of slippers became 1.5 pair after we returned to room & it remained the same for the next 2 days until checked out. Tissue box ran out on day 2 was not refilled after housekeeping & was only done when I took out the empty box to show on vanity top on day 3. Bath tub n shower were separated but only 1 floor mat at bath tub area. On 3rd day the 2nd floor mat appeared finally at shower area. Staff were friendly & helpful tho’ & spa was running a promo 1 for 1 which was good. Gym facilities was good with shower room just next to it with towels & toiletries, nice! Location wise is not ideal as need transport to the market places & restaurants at Chaweng & Fisherman Village, spent a bit on grab….stayed 4D3N twin room garden view with balcony & enjoyed quietness & near to reception. BF was good!

The resort is beautiful, two great pools and a private beach located in a little cove blocked by land on both sides. Our villa had a nice view of the ocean with plenty of privacy for our pool. We had breakfast included, which was in a gorgeous restaurant with a fantastic food and views (pictured). We had a great vacation!

MMarielleeGarrya Tonsay Bay was a beautiful and peaceful oasis on Koh Samui! We stayed for a couple of nights and loved the variety of included activities, from morning yoga and Muay Thai to circuit classes, paddle boarding, and snorkeling—all very well organized. The restaurant was excellent; we enjoyed the ”Taste of Northern Thailand” dinner, and the breakfast buffet was one of the best we’ve had. The staff was amazing, incredibly friendly, and attentive to every detail. Highly recommend this relaxing retreat!

Kolam renang di dalam bilik adalah lebih daripada cukup untuk 2 orang dewasa, tetapi kolam renang utama hotel agak nipis. Kolam renang tidak sebaik hotel lain di tepi laut.
Biliknya besar, wifi cepat, dan katilnya selesa. Terdapat banyak nyamuk di kawasan kolam celup, dan tandas juga agak janggal kerana tidak tertutup sepenuhnya. Hanya ada kepala pancuran, tiada kain lap pergigian dan bekalan pembersihan lain, jadi jangan lupa bawa sendiri.
Sarapan pagi mengenyangkan, tapi jangan minta banyak sangat, ragam pun tak banyak.
Pantai yang bertentangan dengan hotel ini sangat cetek dan jelas, jadi sangat selamat untuk bermain dengan kanak-kanak.
Kakitangan hotel sangat sopan dan rakan sekerja kaunter penerimaan tetamu juga sangat membantu.
