⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5) From the moment we arrived at Marasca, we knew we were in for something special. The resort is very well-secured at the entrance, giving us peace of mind right away. The front office team was simply superb—friendly, efficient, and attentive in just the right way. Our porter was quick to assist with our luggage, no fuss, no wait—just seamless service. Although early check-in wasn’t available when we arrived, the hotel’s app made all the difference. Through the app, we could explore the resort, make requests, and track our room status. Eventually, we received a notification that our room was ready—such a convenient system! The room itself? Immaculate! Spotless and thoughtfully designed with a massive bed, a sparkling clean shower area, a cozy separate seating space, and an automated toilet that lifts the cover for you. No-touch toilet seat? That’s a huge bonus! We were also greeted with a delightful welcome basket in the room, packed with special drinks, snacks, and even a handwritten postcard by the General Manager. It was such a warm and personal touch—it’s hard not to fall in love with the place instantly. We did try the spa, and while it’s on the pricier side, the service and facilities were absolutely worth every penny—top-notch from start to finish. Cabanas, the beach club at Marasca, is another highlight. Ultra-chilled vibes, beautifully designed with lush greenery, comfy furniture, and a view that opens right up to Chaweng Beach. It was the perfect place to unwind. Breakfast? Impressive. A great mix of Western and Asian dishes, plus a healthy spread of salads, pastries, yogurt, juices, and smoothies. The little touches like free healthy shots in the morning and ice cream in the afternoon truly made our stay even more enjoyable! Marasca also offers daily activities for guests, so you’ll never run out of things to do. To sum it all up: this is, hands down, the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Huge shoutout to the amazing team—Mo, Tony, Ja, Chet, Jenny, Puppup, Andy, Pui, Golf, and the rest whose names I can’t recall. Your teamwork and hospitality were unforgettable. Review: A Beautiful, Design-Led Oasis in Fisherman’s Village We recently stayed at the Hansar Samui, and it is truly a beautiful property with a thoughtful design. The location is perfect—just a short, pleasant stroll away from Fisherman’s Village, making it easy to explore the local area while still feeling like you have a quiet retreat to return to. The Highlights Dining Experience: The breakfast was a standout. I particularly appreciated having eggs made fresh to order; there is nothing worse than pre-cooked, rubbery eggs left under heat lamps, so this was a huge bonus for me. The Vibe: The swimming pool is lovely, and the beach is kept very clean. The hotel maintains a relaxed atmosphere, complemented by a great selection of background music. Service & Little Touches: The staff were incredibly welcoming and kind. I loved the ”turn-down” service around 5:00 PM, where housekeeping brought little chocolates and water—an adorable touch that made us feel looked after. Facilities: The gym is clean and well-maintained. Crucially for those working remotely, the Wi-Fi was excellent and reliable enough for me to take Zoom meetings without any issues. Room Design: The rooms are beautifully decorated with stunning balconies and views. The bathroom was a highlight, especially the large rainfall shower. Room Comfort & Maintenance We did have a significant issue with the bed. The mattresses are very soft, which didn't suit us at all as my husband has a bad back. It made sleeping quite difficult. However, the staff were wonderful and tried their best to accommodate us; they helped remove the mattress so we could sleep on the wooden base with just the mattress topper. While not ”luxury” comfort, it was much better for his back than the soft mattress. We also had a few issues with a temperamental toilet flush, but to the hotel's credit, maintenance was very prompt in coming to fix it each time. Dining & Logistics We had dinner at the restaurant one evening, ordering the Massaman curry and Chicken Panang. While the food was edible, it was just ”okay”—we were perhaps expecting a bit more given how high the quality of breakfast was. That said, the view from the restaurant in the evening is spectacular, and they occasionally have lovely entertainment. One small hiccup occurred when we booked a taxi through the hotel to take us to the pier for our trip to Koh Phangan. The driver unfortunately dropped us at the wrong port. We had to quickly catch a Grab to the correct one, but luckily we made it just in time for our ferry. Overall Despite a few minor glitches, this was a wonderful stay. The aesthetic of the hotel is gorgeous, and the professionalism of the staff ensures that any issues are handled quickly. I would definitely recommend Hansar for anyone looking for a stylish and relaxed stay in Samui!

Расположение: нужно сразу понимать что потребуется транспорт. В пешей доступности есть пара кафе, но мы в них не ходили, народу в них тоже не наблюдалось, ну разве что пару раз видели несколько фарангов, которые завтракали. Репорт предлагает доставку на пляж и обратно по определенным часам. Про цену не помню: то ли бесплатно, то ли за символическую платную совсем низкую. Завтраки тоже предлагали заказывать с доставкой на виллу: это конечно дороже, чем в обычном кафе, но все же доступно. Мы этой услугой не пользовались, так как пришлось бы заранее планировать время завтрака (зачем?). Пляж… мы проживали во время дневных отливов, потому ничего хорошего про море не скажу, а сам пляж чистый и почти безлюдный. Сюрпризы: бронировали виллу с тремя спальнями и гостиной + бассейн. При просмотре фото номеров ( во время бронирования) никак не мог понять расположение комнаты а также не мог понять приватность бассейна. Будет ли бассейн только нашими или его надо будет делить с гостями из какой-то другой виллы. Даже в Гугл мапс «погулял», но так до конца и не понял. По прибытию Приятно удивило то, что эта самая вилла состоит из двух отдельных домовую между которыми расположен бассейн ( не маленький, средних размеров). Один дом состоит из двух спален с отдельными входами и отдельными сан узлами, а другой дом сострит из огромной гостиной, столовой, кухни и спальни + 2 сан узла. Грандиозно! Еще патио. Из минусов: не очень стабильный wi fi, телевизор задумчивый. Пожалуй все. Еще кондиционеры не так быстро охлаждают, как хотелось бы, но это вина конструктива зданий. Огромная площадь остекления которое выполнено в одиночном исполнении из дерева. Угли в будущем поставить нормальный алюминиевые конструкции со стеклопакетами, то можно будет добиться лучшего эффекта от кондиционеров+ сэкономить на электроэнергии и улучшить звукоизоляцию. Тем не менее кондиционеры вполне справляются со своей задачей. Практически всегда было тихо. В целом все ок. Денег своих это место стоит. Хозяйка по имени Лана очень доброжелательна и безупречно говорит на русском.

Garrya Tonsay Bay was a beautiful and peaceful oasis on Koh Samui! We stayed for a couple of nights and loved the variety of included activities, from morning yoga and Muay Thai to circuit classes, paddle boarding, and snorkeling—all very well organized. The restaurant was excellent; we enjoyed the ”Taste of Northern Thailand” dinner, and the breakfast buffet was one of the best we’ve had. The staff was amazing, incredibly friendly, and attentive to every detail. Highly recommend this relaxing retreat!

It is a wedding hotel, not a relaxing boutique hotel as it is advertised. I stayed there for 8 nights, and on 5 of those nights there were weddings. They have one small beach and one big beach. Due to tidal conditions, only the small beach is usually usable. We were asked to move after 12:00 PM because of wedding preparations. The big beach is often not usable due to waves and tides, and you need to wait until 2:00 PM for the tide to change. In short, there was ongoing disturbance during the wedding days. Sometimes wedding cocktails take place in the dining area, which means it gets very loud. After complaining about this, the hotel management tried to compensate us with additional discounts. However, after traveling such a long distance, these discounts were meaningless. Make sure to check whether there are any weddings scheduled before making a reservation. The staff are very friendly, rooms are very clean and the food and beverages are reasonably priced.

Another Amari disappointing stay. first was amari hua hin and 2nd is this hotel. stayed in amari koh samui for 4nights, we just got back from koh samui a few days ago. location wise sure cant deny that, it's by the beach front, 5 mins drive away from central koh samui mall and walking from the night life but so does other resorts around the area. when you get to the hotel specially after paying so much per night and to be classified as a 5 star hotel, you expect a good service, a 5 star service. Specially when the first point of contact to the customer service is the front staffs, however very disappointing. Most, if not all of the staffs doesnt seem to smile at all. We arrived early so we had lunch first and sure they managed to give us earlier check in at almost 2pm, their check in is at 3pm. we let it go perhaps we were just too tired and sensitive as we just arrived in koh samui and it was humid, however, throughout our stay their customer service was absolutely lacking. VERY LACKING. specially a few staffs driving the buggy service, we even had an accident one time when we were on our way back to the room, one of the driver drove so fast, THEY ALL DRIVE REALLY FAST, and he rammed onto one of the on coming buggy, i was holding my baby so tight. luckily nothing happened to us. same buggy driver who was had a grumpy look the entire stay and we saw him throwing luggages on to the buggy instead of handling them with care. so when you are taking a buggy, tell them to drive slow. the room, we booked a connecting room, which was a mistake. booking 2 rooms would have been cheaper but anyhow, the room was not clean at all, the bathtub was moldy the floors felt dirty and there were alot of mosquitos every single day. first day we arrived we killed 10 mosquitos in one room whats up with that. breakfast had good selections, they have 3 pools around the resorts as it is a big resort best one is the one over looking the beach, kid friendly pool. they have kids room, not that big just a small room.. anyway overall would i come back here in Amari Koh Samui, absolutely NOT. Would i recommend amari koh samui, absolutely NOT. if you want to stay in a beach front, there are alot of beach front resorts near amari and around the area check that out.. they did something nice from my baby;s birthday, decorated the mirror and gave cake so i appreciated that. with kids i would recommend hyatt koh samui, they are friendlier to kids and service is top notch. we moved there after amari THANK GOODNESS

Just wanted to drop and share my experience about my stay at the Beachfront hotel on private island. Honestly, staff were super friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The room was cozy and over was had a great view of ocean Plus, the complimentary breakfast was a nice touch. Our dinner was fabulous at Longdtai restaurant, Overall, it was a fantastic experience on private island, and I can’t wait to go back for next vacation.

We booked the All Inclusive package at Renaissance Koh Samui Resort & Spa through Trip.com, but unfortunately the experience did not match what “all inclusive” usually means. At check-in we were told that our “all inclusive” included only two dishes per person for lunch and dinner, plus breakfast the next day. This was very surprising, because we paid significantly more specifically for the full package. The administrator also informed us that desserts were included and that our son could order ice cream anytime. However, at lunch the waiter said desserts were not included, and only after calling the manager were we allowed to take one dessert for free “as an exception”. The sauna was also not included, even though we expected it to be part of an all-inclusive stay. For dinner, the all-inclusive menu in the seaside restaurant was extremely limited compared to the regular menu, so we could not find anything suitable and had to go to the main restaurant instead. Breakfast the next morning was excellent, but later at the beach bar we were unexpectedly told that drinks were no longer included, which had not been explained in advance. What made the experience even more disappointing is that we previously stayed at another Marriott property — Le Meridien Khao Lak — where the All Inclusive package was absolutely outstanding. It included multiple à la carte restaurants, a full buffet with unlimited dishes, drinks, and desserts, and overall was far superior — while actually costing slightly less than what we paid at Renaissance Koh Samui. Overall, although we paid several times more for the All Inclusive package at Renaissance Koh Samui, what we received was only two dishes per meal, a very limited menu, almost no included desserts or drinks, and inconsistent information from the staff. Unfortunately, it was far from the Marriott-level all-inclusive experience we expected and not worth the extra cost.

We stayed with our daughter for 10 days for her 21st birthday in a two bedroom villa with a plunge pool . The views were magnificent. We had a huge double bed  (which was very comfortable) and my daughter had two single beds in her room.  We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the hotel, the reception staff were lovely, the cleaners all very helpful and the location was perfect. It cost 150 Baht for a taxi to get to central Chaweng which is 5 minutes away. Sometimes we walked back from Chaweng along the beach which took about 30 minutes.  Thoroughly recommended!! Nice oasis out of Chaweng!!

Exceptional hospitality. This hotel is well maintained and the staff is really caring. They even remembered my wifes birthday with a cake to our room. We had issues with trip.com booking but hotel managed and helped that our stay was superb. For families who are traveling with kids this is really good. Breakfast was really good. The beach is not good as before (like in the pictures) but it is still possible to swim when sea is calm.
