Cari Hotel Pemandangan Gunung di Koh Samui

Была на Пхукете в далеком 2014. безумно понравился Тай! Влюбилась. после Индонезии с подругой решили все же поехать в Таиланд! но теперь через Пхукет на Самуи и Панган! что ж ! 6 лет прошло! а тай изменился. Пхукет стал дико руссским, бездушным,никаким. туристическим одним словом! благо был всего 1 день и мы на утро стартанули на Самуи. ехать с Пхукета минимум 5 часов по скучной дороге. ждать паром час. и плыть мин 40. и вот мы на Самуи! едем еще час до отеля по бездорожью.. ну в целом, первые впечатления, че то не то( приехали в отель. Здрасьте приехали. номер без балкона.... дышать нечем.. душно. в номере пахнет могнолией(ненавижу ее) утро.. завтрак. так себе. но голодным не останетесь. кофе на любой вкус. горячее, салаты. из фруктов арбуз вкусный и дыня не ок).. ну все. и да. русских 80%. будьте готовы! Тагил ждет вас))) другое дело остров Панган.. но это уже совсем др история.)

Myself snd my Wife have stayed at many Four Seasons around the World and this Hotel is right up there amongst our favs The Location the Hotel the Staff and the Management Wow what a wonderful place. Massive shout out to Branka one of the Directors of FS Koh Samui, so well loved and respected by all staff and guests, became a great friend by the end of the Holiday. I read many reviews about this resort and studied the Mantra Samui website, but never learned until after I booked (4 nights stay) my room that they had cancelled , during Covid, the regular shuttle that took guests down the hill to Fisherman Villa. I learned this because I called the hotel before my trip to ask some questions and also ask how to reserve a place on their shuttle. The resort does have one auto/driver that will drive you down to the bottom of the hill if it is there, and if it is not picking up someone at the airport. The shuttle delivers you directly to the bottom of the hill, is pretty much is just a local road. Then you can wave down a taxi and negotiate the price. Some fun! The Mantra Sumai should update their website to say the regular shuttle has been cancelled, and replaced by their maybe available one car. Continuing my story... We booked a massage at another hotel that is about 20 minutes away, and gave ourselves one hour to get there. So the night before we reserved to get the ride down to the bottom of the hill for the next day afternoon. When we went to reception, we were informed there was an accident, which was a flat tire, and the tire 'might' be fixed in half an hour and then another 20 minutes to get back to the Mantra. They apparently felt no responsibility to contact us. Just wait for the guests to show up and then tell them. They felt no responsibility to call the driver for any update. They then offered to call a taxi, but that would take about 20 minutes to arrive. Also when you call a taxi there is no opportunity for negotiation. My hour was dwindling. Well 20 is better than maybe 30 + 20 minutes. So they called the taxi. Luckily the Mantra driver showed up after 15 minutes, and the taxi was cancelled. My conclusion, after all the interfaces with reception, is they have a poor sense of responsibility and lacking the ability for logical thinking to provide a good guest experience. There are other examples beyond the above. Our suite room was in good condition, and everything functioning. Well, except the phone did not work, but I did not need that. The suite has a king size bed and a separate built in bed in the back of the living room. OK, so 4 people can stay. But the flaw in the suites is there is only a 2 person love seat to sit on. There is no chair, and no desk. It is no fun to use your laptop when the coffee table level is below your knees. A simple 4 leg table for a desk, and a simple chair would be nice, and not cost very much. They do have an on-site co-work room somewhere, but I did not use it. I think it is an extra cost and I did not have that much work to do anyway. The highlight of the Mantra Samui was the included breakfast. There are many cooked to order choices plus a buffet of juices, fruits, cereals, yogurt, pastries, and several breads you can toast yourself. Recently stayed at this hotel for 1 week, arrived from the Airport with no luggage as Bangkok airways lost it, checked in to the hotel and was met by a lovely member of staff who was waiting for me, she offered me a welcome drink on arrival which was very much appreciated after a long flight. After check in, was shown to my room which was a pool side deluxe room with Double bed and En-suite. Room was very clean, spacious and came with Fresh towels, Toiletries, a Mini fridge stocked with beers, satellite T.V, Aircon and some free drinks/snacks. My stay came with free breakfast every morning, which was very handy and the selection was always really nice. Lots of fresh fruit, cereals, pastries, eggs cooked to the way you wanted along with a choice of tea/coffee and fresh juices. Staff are soo friendly and welcoming, they clean your room everyday and provide fresh sheets and towels as well as toiletries. The Hotel is quite modern and staff had decorated the reception for Chinese New Year with lanterns and fairy lights. The position of the hotel is good, about 10 min drive in a taxi to Fisherman's village, which is full of bars/restaurants and shops. The hotel is also right on the beach, so you have the option to swim in the sea or the pool and look out onto the amazing views. I loved my stay at this hotel and would highly recommend! (Only negative thing I can think of is that the Pool Bar was never open, so it would be good to see this open in the future).

Daftar masuk berjalan lancar. Banyak tangga jadi kami akhirnya membantu porter yang baik-baik saja tetapi agak ugh membawanya ke atas, memeriksa. Pangsapuri 2 bilik tidur yang kami tinggali (106) bagus untuk penginapan singkat. Menyukai kemudahan tahap 2, mereka mempunyai 2 peti sejuk. Satu untuk setiap tingkat. Itu adalah satu kejutan yang menyenangkan. Saya tidak nampak sebarang tisu disediakan mahupun berus gigi. Tiada air panas di bilik air tingkat 1. Kami terperangkap dalam hujan lebat pada suatu malam, dan mengeringkan rambut kami dengan hangat selepas mandi sekali lagi dalam air sejuk. Pengemasan adalah pantas dan teliti setiap hari. Satu-satunya keluhan saya ialah mereka mematikan lampu laluan selepas masa tertentu dan secara peribadi untuk seseorang yang mabuk untuk kembali, tersandung menuruni tangga hanyalah satu kemalangan yang menunggu untuk berlaku. Saya mempunyai anak jadi saya bimbang mereka tersandung selepas pulang dari makan malam dan berjalan-jalan di Chaweng. Saya hanya fikir ia tidak selamat untuk pengembara yang lebih tua juga. Sarapan pagi adalah asas. Pesan menu sarapan pagi. Tetapi secara keseluruhan, untuk rehat malam makanan, katil yang baik, ac dan wifi.

We have just returned from a 12 night stay at the Tongsai Bay. As returning guests we knew to expect an excellent service across the board. However what we didn’t expect was that they have managed to improve on what we already thought was perfection! The Garrya rebrand seems to have complemented the Tongsai, without detracting from the essence of the original concept. The rooms have been re-vamped but the upgrade is very much in keeping with the eco friendly jungle location. It was good to see that the natural tones and furnishings remain. Many of the long-standing staff are still there, and the new additions in staff provide the same faultless service with a warm smile on their faces. Every single member of staff was exceptional! It would be unfair to list individual staff as it is obvious that all departments work together as one team under the expert guidance of Manuel and Mark. I have yet to stay in another hotel where senior management get so involved. The main improvement for us this time was the food, which was already very good. The Tongsai have definitely upped their game here. every single meal we ate was truly delicious. Overall and exceptional experience, we wouldn’t hesitate in recommending to anyone. Thank you to everyone at the Tongsai for making our holiday absolutely perfect. We look forward to seeing you again next year!

Some rooms needs to be updated and a deep cleaned (It’s not Dirty, it’s just that it has build-up Grime). Our shower didn’t have running warm water…Can’t complain too much since Koh Samui is 78°F to 91°F all year round. They also got really good food for Lunch and Dinner. I absolutely love it. :D I’m a fan of Tom Yum. Their Tom Yum is really good. For my Westerner Friends, Tolerate the Lack of Western Food and try Thai Food since you’re in Thailand and not your Country of Origin.

I’ve stayed in many 5 star places, this place rates very very near the top. The hotel is stunning, rooms luxurious, views breathtaking, pools beautiful. Multiple pools, amazing food, cinema room, billiards room, spa, sauna, massage. The staff and owner are so helpful and friendly. They arranged everything requested and were 5 star service at all times. Highly highly recommend this place for a real taste of luxury and tranquility.

We stayed for 7 nights as a couple. All in all we were very satisfied. The rooms are very spacious, quiet and clean. The outside area is very well maintained and you can spend a lot of time at the pool. The staff are all very helpful and friendly. We were allowed to stay an hour longer in the room on request on the day of checkout, which was very pleasant. Unfortunately, I still have to deduct one star because we were not completely satisfied with the breakfast. When I was in the code for the first time in 2016, there was still a breakfast buffet and you could eat your fill. Meanwhile, an a la carte breakfast is served, where you can choose one single dish. The portions are unfortunately ridiculously small, so that one is not even close to being full, which other guests in our presence have also criticized. Not even my girlfriend (55 kg) was full. For these tiny portions, the prices are really a cheek. For that money, you can get 3 people full at one of the local food markets! The second point of criticism concerns the gym. I used it daily and was very happy with the equipment and cleanliness. Unfortunately, half the days there were no towels, no water or no drinking cups for the water dispenser. Of course, this is not a big problem, but given the high prices that the hotel calls, you should expect more… However, we still liked it very much and we would come again!

The best thing about this hotel is the staff! They work so hard and handled any problems we had the best they could. The hotel does need updating, We were allocated a Mountain View room, you could just see it behind all the wires and busy road, we upgraded at a cost to a sea view, it was worth it, the view was stunning! The room was comfortable and clean, as much as I tried not to, I couldn’t help but flood the bathroom, the water runs along the bath and straight to the floor! Breakfast was nice and again the staff were really on the ball, the service was faultless! In reception there is a pond that runs all around with several koi carp in, we brought some fish food from one of the pet shops and fed them every morning (there is food behind the desk if you want to fed them) The beach is lovely, Despite the place needing updating and a few repairs I would stay here again, we had a lovely holiday in Lamai.
