RRoxrctWe booked The Langham on the Gold Coast for our honeymoon. It is a nice hotel but I can honestly say it is not worth the over $550 per night we paid. I’ve listed positives and negatives below:
Positives:
- there was a nice note and small chocolate slice in the room wishing us a lovely honeymoon
- Staff are very friendly/welcoming
- Ocean view was amazing from the hotel room
- facilities - gymnasium was fully equipped with a view of the ocean/beach
- Bathtub was lovely
- Easy access to the beach
Negatives:
- There were stains on the sheets. When we arrived I noticed two stains in separate places on the sheets (note: they were dry stains). I went down to reception and they said they’d send housekeeping up to change the sheets. As advised, a woman arrived to change the sheets. Unfortunately, I didn’t check the new sheets and there were stains on those as well. I went back down to reception and they said they’d send a supervisor up again to look at the sheets. Two staff came to the room, apologised and changed the sheets again (this time I checked). The hotel gave us a bottle of wine, some lip balm and pillow spray which was a nice gesture as an apology, however, multiple stained sheets for what is meant to be a 5 star hotel is very disappointing.
- The pre-authorisation amount (hold) when checking in is $200 a day, so $1,000 for a 5 night stay. This is ridiculously high. I don’t know why they hold that much considering most hotels, even 5 star hotels I’ve stayed in, hold $100-200 for a stay. On a positive note it did come back into my account straight away at check-out

KKakoeGreat location with an easy walk to the beach, central Surfers Paradise, and access to the tram to other parts of the Gold Coast. The apartment was clean with an excellent bathroom and shower. The towels were great too - new and fluffy.
The furniture in my room was dated, the mattress was old, uncomfortable, and should have been replaced a decade ago, and the apartment lacked any style or decor. I'm not sure if it was just my apt #910 but it didn't look like the online pictures.
Overall it served its purpose but was fairly uncomfortable and drab.

PPengguna Tanpa NamaThe hotel is right in front of the beach and also a short walk to the shopping centre. The room is spacious and has a nice seaview. The gym is a bit small but there are an outdoor and indoor pool and spa which are really nice. The service staffs were polite, smiley and helpful. I would recommend this hotel.

PPengguna TetamuThis was our second stay at Mantra Legends. We booked the same room as last time a studio which gives you a mini kitchenette and dishwasher. Perfect for a New Year's Eve celebration as we could see the Surfers Paradise fireworks from our balcony and bedroom windows.
Comfortable bed, good aircon and not cramped. The buffet breakfast was great each of the three mornings with beautiful fruits, pastries and cooked breakfast items.
Would stay again because the location is close to the beach and many different restaurants.We also spent a lot of time in the lovely pool.

AAnaretaBeautiful gorgeous apartment. We booked the beachfront view and it was absolutely perfect. Unobstructed view of the ocean + tennis courts. Pool was warm, clean and refreshing. Beautful long walk by the beach to Surfers Paradise. Bus stop a minute away to go anywhere in GC.
Service by Luke, the young blonde guy at reception was a 2/5. We were given a room that didn't have a working dishwasher & dryer. Luke didn't even attempt to make any suggestions to help us. We had to return the next day to ask the older lady if we could use another dryer as we had a lot of wet clothes from being at the beach daily and at the pool.
Our first day, we loaded the dishwasher and left for town only to come back to a flooded kitchen. We cleaned up without making a fuss. Service needs to be better.

Discounted parking from public carpark next door. Had the best stay only downfall is they dont have a swimming pool, but was so close to the beach it didnt matter that much. Great breakfast selection. Love, love, loved my stay *****

PPengguna TetamuSurfers Beach Holiday Apartments was a great place to stay for our family. The management was helpful. Rooms were of a good size. The location is quiet. It is a easy walk to catch the G:tram. This makes getting to Surfers Paradise or other locations easy. Riding the G is also much cheaper and easier than trying to find parking for the car. While we were there, there were few people using the pool. Our grandkids had a great time... and mostly had the pool to themselves. I didn't realize there wasn't an elevator.(My fault for not checking.) Being on the third floor normally wouldn't have been an issue. Because of health issues for one of our family members, it would have been easier if we had been on a lower floor. If I had contacted the management when booking they said they would have tried to give us a lower floor. It's a great place and I highly recommend it.

Oouliana routLocation of the resort is very good, on the river, close to the Surfers Paradise central area and walking distance to the beach. It has lots of free garage and on site parking. It has tennis court, beautiful pool with hot outdoor spa , gym and dry sauna. All service desk guys were very attentive and helpful. Downside is that the resort is old and needs lots of maintenance. All common areas are in need of a facelift. All units have individual owners. The unit I stayed had blocked sink in the bathroom and bed mattress in the bedroom was worn out and sagging to one side. Lucky me I was able to sleep on the other side!
