Hotel berhampiran Stesen Museum, Sydney

Located perfectly in the city centre of Sydney it was the perfect place to stay. The bed was comfortable and the capsule design lets you have some degree of privacy while still saving money. Would stay here again definitely.

I’ve stayed in many hostels before and understand you sometimes get what you pay for, but my stay at Wake Up! Sydney Central was disappointing. We booked a private room for three with a shared bathroom. The room had a strong “slept-in” smell which seemed to come from the actual pillows and bedding rather than the sheets. The shared bathrooms were also quite dirty, and during our five-day stay I only saw them cleaned once. The kitchen on the first floor is far too small for the number of guests. Fridges and cupboards were completely full, and with only a few cooktops, sinks and microwaves it’s very difficult to cook or find a place to eat. The hostel is very focused on partying, with events like pizza nights and free drinks in the kitchen area. It’s also quite noisy, with partying and heavy doors slamming day and night, so don’t expect much sleep. Considering how expensive Sydney is, this place still felt overpriced. The building is run down (cracked sinks), beds have thin mattresses, and we even saw a large cockroach one day. Staff simply said, “this is Australia.” There’s also no ramp at the entrance, so heavy luggage has to be carried up the stairs. The only real positive is the great location.

I never disappointed to stay with them either short stay or long stay. The staff are amazing even a small team and willing to help and look after your needs eg  suitcase when u are not  be able to check in or wait for the room to turn down.  The food are great or have more variety with western cuisine and blend with Asian style cuisine as is combination of the menu and of course pasta was great as it was a simple but is still maintain and old fashion style in sauce like you cooked on your own home style .  The bar is great as always full and people always giggling and mingle or they watch me what 🙀 I am up to late night but I do an expirement in food and beverage as a food science and my night is like an owes or have less sleep but be able to focus in a longer hour and not too tired when I got up or even just 3-4 hrs sleep and made me work like a machine shhhh is not rice .. but is PepT instead and I never aging and still look younger and beautiful with different personality when I walk out from the door to door or one 🚪 close and other door 🚪 open like switch on swop a soul as the soul traps inside the dead body .

Service was average and amenities very basic. Had shampoo, conditioner, body wash and bar soap. The space was pretty tight for 2 people and no extra table space for work. However, location was near ICC Sydney which was convenient.

Hotel located in a good and convenience place, near with supermarket BIG W and train station. Staff are nice. My room picture being falling down, I told the staff and promptly follow up. Room size OK not too small but not big. The shower area feel bit small and difficult turn. Overall it a good experience in this hotel.

The hotel has a very convenient location. However, the only drawback I experienced was the noise coming from the bathroom whenever it was in use.

1. I booked (through Trip.com) 4 nights ($1,138.27) & requested 2 single beds. When i arrived I was advised that to get 2single beds I’d have to move to a larger room at an additional charge of $250. Why wasn’t i made aware of that at the time of making my booking, as I could have chosen other facilities. This could be. Song or Trip.com fault!! 2. When in my room, I found the bar fridge had been turned off & half melting ice flooded the shelves. I looked for phone to call reception, but there wasn’t one, so I went back down to report the problem. 3. Later i attempted to plug devices into the 2 USB ponts in the room but only one was working, so went back down to report the problem & was advised that as it was late in the afternoon, it wouldn’t be fixed till the next day; & was given an adapter instead. 4. I didn’t check the adapter till I got back to my room only to find it was for an EU power outlet, so yet another trip to reception!!! & i’m given more adapters 5. Later that day I FINALLY received an email advising that there were no phones in the room & providing a direct number to call from my mobile. 6. As I write this at 4pm on the second day of my stay, the USB is still not fixed!! If this is a 4* service, i clearly need to look elsewhere!!

The hotel isn’t great location with around 5 mins walking distance to the Central station, very easy access to the CBD and other places with options the public transport. There are lots of restaurants nearby. But be aware that there is no slippers, dental kits and bottled water provided. Overall, it’s a good choice for travelers.

Huge room with kitchen and washing machine. Great views. Had issues with safe and tv but they were quickly resolved by staff visiting the room. Recrption staff friendly. Our 2nd stay this year. Will return.

Great location, was pretty central to everything in Darling Harvour - located on a quiet street with parking onsite. The Buffet Breakfast was delicious with great options. Staff were very welcoming & friendly. The rooms were very spacious & private bathrooms were adequate.
