Hotel berhampiran Teater State, Sydney

My first review on Trip and I don't usually bother to write reviews - shows you how much the hotel impressed me. We stayed for 1 night in Capella Sydney as a family of 3. The hotel facilities were absolutely amazing, decor was gorgeous and food options at Aperture and Brasserie were awesome. However, I won't dwell on these too much as I'm sure when you booked into a Capella brand hotel, you will already assume this as a given right? One highlight in terms of facilities though, was The Living Room, which is assessible to all guests staying in the hotel. It had beverages, snacks, comfy sofas and 6 star service. We spent so much time there chilling with our son and in the end it really became ”our living room”. Enough of that, let me move on to the service which blew our minds. I'll give you a few examples and hopefully you can see why I feel it would be criminal for me not to write a review. 1. On arrival when we got out of our car and the porters were helping us with our luggage, somehow they addressed me by name. Maybe it's because they saw I had a 2 year old and I was the only guest checking in that day with a small child. Still, I was super impressed. I've only experienced this previously at Aman hotels. 2. Upon checking in, Sophie (I hope I got your name right!) was super helpful and cheerful. When she saw my young son, she also proactively asked if we needed a later check out and if our son needed to nap. She immediately offered to give us 2pm late check out. However, having told her our son actually takes his nap at 2pm, she told us to come back and check with the front desk the next day and they can extend it till 4pm. Remember, I didn't request this, she did this completely out of her own initiative. 3. We didn't book dinner and Sophie referred us to Madiha of the Cultural team. Madiha took note of all our requirements, including the need for the restaurant to be 2 year old friendly, and within 15 mins emailed me a full list of restaurants and their menus for me to choose from while she also served us drinks and snacks at the living room. We eventually picked an Italian restaurant and she made the reservation for us. Fyi, it was scrumptious. 4. After breakfast, we were walking around the lobby and my son walked past the cakeshop and saw a raspberry tart. He really wanted it but I told him we just had breakfast. Ton (?)(I hope I got your name right, the Thai gentleman with a love for cars), the manager came up and said ”you can have the tart for free! It's on the house!”. I was stunned. He also spent so much time talking to my son and showing him pictures of cars, unbelievable. Shout out also to Matthew (uncle Hao Jun) for being so warm and hospitable to us. Honestly we were feeling so sad leaving the hotel as everyone felt like friends and family to us. One thing is for sure though, we will be back. Absolutely flawless service, kudos to the Capella Sydney team!

After checking out of another hotel in our trip earlier than we intended to, we just wanted to transfer and get some rest after a long trip. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations and turned what was already a special holiday into an unforgettable experience. The hotel itself was magnificent—beautiful facilities, comfortable accommodations, and outstanding service from the entire team. Every interaction reflected a commitment to hospitality and guest satisfaction. We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone looking for exceptional service and a truly memorable experience.

I like how this hostel located in the centre (Haymarket). It is very easy to travel to everywhere from here! Also, this place is clean, new and people are nice. I made a new friend with my roommate and we travel together. It was a legit choice, I would definitely stay here again if possible and I would recommend to others too!

It is located right opposite Central Station, extremely convenient to travel around CBD area and to the airport.

The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. However, the body wash was empty. Luckily, we had brought our own. It might be a good idea for the staff to double-check that all bathroom amenities are properly stocked before the next guests arrive. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and appreciated the friendly service.

Staying in W hotel was one of the thing that I always wanted to do when I was working around the Darling Harbour area. Everything about the location was great, especially during the night where the vivid event was on. Walking to the new Sydney fish market take only 20 minutes or so. Walking to QV market takes about 15 minutes, and seafood in Sydney is much better than Melbourne. Some great restaurants along the esplanade, and the cost of meal is actually very reasonable, and you would expect to pay as much in Thailand Bangkok. The view from the hotel room into the harbour is breathtaking 24 hours. I would wanted to just sit in the room and look at the view from my office desk in the hotel room. However, the service was subpar. Long wait for check in and people in the hotel front desk are not friendly at all. I have had better service at LV boutique and Rolex stores.

Penginapan yang Mengecewakan untuk Majlis Istimewa – Dijangka Lebih Banyak daripada Hotel 5 Bintang Menginap 4 malam bersama anak perempuan saya untuk kejutan ulang tahun kelahirannya. Dinaik taraf kepada bilik Harbour Bridge View di Aras 23 ($715/malam), tetapi kebanyakan pemandangannya adalah tapak pembinaan yang kosong – sangat tidak memuaskan untuk harganya. Bilik bersambung yang bising dan kereta sport yang bising antara jam 12–2 pagi menyukarkan untuk tidur. Sarapan pagi ($65pp) adalah di bawah jangkaan – sosej kering dan daging yang hampir tidak dimasak, walaupun kakitangannya cantik. Perkhidmatan bilik pada malam terakhir kami mengambil masa hampir sejam - dipesan pada pukul 7:38 malam, makanan tiba pada pukul 8:30 malam. Sebagai ibu solo, ini adalah perjalanan yang telah kami simpan untuk masa yang lama dan mahukan ia benar-benar istimewa, tetapi kami dibiarkan berasa kecewa. Dijangka lebih daripada hotel 5 bintang. Sorotan positif penginapan kami ialah tab mandi besar yang indah dan kemudahan pancuran mandian berkualiti tinggi, yang menambahkan sentuhan kemewahan. Lokasi yang hebat dan berjalan kaki yang indah di sepanjang pantai!! Untuk harga yang kami bayar, pemandangan tidak jauh dari apa yang anda jangkakan dari hotel mewah. Jika difikirkan semula, Bilik Deluxe King dengan kadar yang lebih rendah yang menghadap ke air akan menjadi pilihan yang lebih baik!  -

Got upgraded which is a massive bonus. Room super comfortable and clean. 1 small problem is they are renovating the front hall so can be abit off putting for some. No on site parking, lots of tour groups the drivers can be rather aggressive at the set down area. Overall a good experience

We had a brilliant experience at the Langham for our wedding anniversary! I forgot how much I like the Langham brand. From the pink ribbon around the toilet paper to the sleep ammenities (we asked for the sleep pillow mist and the room diffuser) to the suggested third eye massage technique and the chamomile tea before bedtime, we felt totally pampered and taken care of. Reservation was made for our celebratory dinner with fine steak dinner over the fantastic view of the Opera House. In room breakfast was delivered on time and the quantity copious. The Spanish bell boy was helpful and friendly. We were also upgraded to a harbour view room to our delight. Location was convenient to walk either to Barangaroo or the Rocks, for ferry ride or metro. Very pleased to have chosen The Langham, it was absolutely the right decision for us!

Perfect stay in the heart of Burwood! The location can’t be beaten—walking distance to Westfield Mall, Burwood Park, and countless Asian eateries. The guesthouse has a charming historic vibe with polished wooden floors, plus modern perks like free WiFi and a coin-operated laundry. The host was super friendly and helped us store luggage after check-out.
