Hotel berhampiran Sungai Tamar, Launceston

Here’s the translation: 1. A very cute and Modern room, beautifully decorated, exactly like the photos. 2. The hosts are very friendly; it's basically their home, with only two rooms available for guests. If you’re lucky, you might encounter their grandchildren swimming and playing, hearing their laughter. 3. The room's amenities are quite high quality, and the space is ample. 4. Breakfast is provided early in the room, including bread, various types of jams and butter, milk, orange juice, and a variety of cereal options. Tea bags are also available. 5. There’s a free washing machine and laundry powder, but no dryer. 6. The location is within a 20-minute drive from Launceston. 7. If you want a quiet and comfortable space, this is a great choice.

Second stay at Nightcap Riverside. Price point was my main motivation, I paid $130 for the night. Rooms are very comfortable, clean, well equiped, well heated .Renovated. Bed was very comfortable, black out blinds good. Hotel internet signal strong and good speeds. Location is about 5 kms north of the CBD, need a car.  a 20 minute drive from the airport. Meals at the Riverside Tavern next door typical pub meals, large servings and reasonable quality. A small convenience store just across the road, a Woolworths supermarket about a 3 minute drive away. Some noise from the highway nearby, but quiet during the night. Fair bit of noise early ( circa 6 am on ) as early morning workers driving past, and quite a few “ tradies “ stay at Nightcap Riverside and start early. Didn’t bother me as I rise early also, but don’t expect a sleep in.  Overall, very good value for the price point.

Service was good. Susanna was friendly n helpful. The facilities was great. We will offer breakfast n we are enjoying it. Will come back again.

The hotel itself is very beautiful, great location as well. However the room feels very stuffy, the balcony is locked only a small window is left open and the screen window is incredibly dusty, I don’t think it’s ever been cleaned. Also the housekeeping is very unprofessional, she came straight in without even knocking the door around 9am while we are still sleeping, just saying hello when unlocking the door. Unhappy about that.

Good hotel and Good location, not far from the city center and the location is near to the river and many famous restuarant. easy to go and findthe best.

The setting is nice, but the house is a bit dated and is said to have been a monastery in the past. The staff is warm and friendly and will recommend restaurants and places to visit in the neighborhood if needed.

Stayed the night to watch The Hawks and needed somewhere cheap and cheerful. The room was small and basic but had everything you need for a stopover, fridge, kettle, microwave etc. The heater we had in our room didn't work but the staff were absolute legends in ensuring they found us one, so we were certainly cosy and warm 😁 we didn't eat a meal but did take some garlic bread away, which was yummy! Would stay again next time, thanks guys 😊

This accomodation is motel-style. The family room was spacious, with a small kitchen/dining area and equipped with basic stuff such as fridge, kettle, microwave oven and plates/cutlery/glasses. Note that you cannot cook. Sink is a bit small to wash the dishes. Short drive from cataract gorge, 2mn drive from supermarket. Very convenient.

It’s a super nice share house with a great view of the Launceston city. There’s four rooms if I’m not wrong, and you have access to the shared kitchen and shared bathroom. Most amenities are available which is pretty convenient. It’s also clean and comfortable. Downsides are the parking might not always be sufficient, and if you have a big luggage you’ll need to note that you might need to carry them up and down the stairs.

No signage at entrance/driveway Stained towels and bath mat  Not overly clean bathroom  Very out dated,but in saying that very cheap  We stayed for an early flight next morning,so it done the job if you are just looking for a quick stay
