PPengguna TetamuI booked Fly in Baku hotel for my parents, and they were absolutely delighted with their stay. Everything was perfect from the moment they arrived until the day they checked out. The rooms were spotlessly clean, very comfortable, and quiet – exactly what you need for a relaxing trip. The hotel itself has a very welcoming and pleasant atmosphere that made them feel at ease right away.
What really made their stay unforgettable was the outstanding hospitality of the staff. A very special thanks goes to Mr. Jafar Jabarov, who went above and beyond to make sure my parents had the best experience possible. His kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail were truly remarkable. He made them feel cared for and at home throughout their stay. I highly recommend Fly in Baku to anyone visiting Baku. If you are looking for a hotel that combines comfort, cleanliness, and exceptional service, this is the perfect place. My parents returned with only good memories, and we are very grateful to the entire team.

EElinaMI had an amazing stay here. The hotel is perfectly situated close to the metro, and the Baku boulevard is not that far I enjoyed my walks around. The staff were all super nice, clean rooms and loved the wide range of selection for breakfast. Highly recommend this Hotel when in Baku!

PPengguna Tanpa NamaLocated along a main street before 4 Seasons, on the fringe of Old City and opposite the Seaside Boulevard. Walk, catching a bus or taxi are all very easy. Food is readily available as there's Room Service, Rooftop terrace in the hotel, restaurants aplenty around the hotel or short walk away. Daniz Mall and Park Bulvar Mall are closest.
Staff are generally helpful and polite. Even though they may struggle with our English, every effort is made to assist. This is especially so with most of the reception and breakfast service staff.
Housekeeping would have been great for me if they had not returned a pouch I'd left behind in the bedside table. There's nothing of real value in it ( to me), except a printed copy of my passport and phone charging cable. It's frustrating as I'd contacted them the day after I'd checked out and no one else had been staying in that room since I'd left.
Rooms in the hotel are large, with a small foyer where the wardrobe is located. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Getting a room on the back (no Caspian sea view) was great as it's quiet. Bathroom was horrible as the sanitary system was old and gave off a strong stench that hit you the moment you open the room door. Flush was also not working properly. Shower stall doors were old and water leaks onto the bathroom floor when you shower, making it a hazard if you're not careful.
Breakfast spread was ok, offering both hot and cold dishes. Fresh vegetables and fruits were available too. The coffee and tea need big improvements though.
My biggest gripe was the refusal by tge hitel to move me to a room without the stench. As per my return to search for my pouch, that room (206) was definitely not often used.

My recent stay at Modern Hotel Baku was nothing short of outstanding! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, making it a truly memorable experience for my family – including our two-year-old.
The hospitality here is top-tier. The team was attentive, warm, and genuinely caring. Whether it was arranging extra pillows or offering timely assistance, they anticipated our needs with a smile.
The food was a highlight of our trip – some of the best we’ve ever had at a hotel! The breakfast spread was lavish, with fresh, flavourful options, and dinner menus offered a delightful mix of local and international dishes. Every meal felt like a gourmet experience!
Traveling with a toddler can be challenging, but Modern Hotel Baku made it effortless. They provided fresh milk for our little one at various times of the day without hesitation, and even offered snacks tailored for kids. The staff’s patience and willingness to accommodate our needs (like high chairs or kid-friendly utensils) made us feel completely at ease.
For the level of service, amenities, and quality we received, the price was unbelievably reasonable. It’s rare to find such affordability paired with luxury – this hotel nails it!
Modern Hotel Baku is a gem for families, couples, and solo travelers alike. Their attention to detail, dedication to guest satisfaction, and focus on creating a welcoming environment for children set them apart. We left feeling pampered, well-fed, and already planning our next visit!
It's hardly at distance from Nizami Street/Little Venice/Daniz Mall/Old Baku/Carpet Museum all at max 3-4Manat taxi fare.

PPengguna TetamuОтель находится в старом городе и на все экскурсии я ходила пешком за пару минут, потому что Old City Inn в паре минут от ворот старого города, а обычно там встречаются с туристами экскурсионные группы. Отель уютный всего на 15 номеров, если для вас важно, то лифта нет - есть винтовая лестница, оно и к лучшему, в Баку очень вкусная пахлава ))) Завтрак на 5 этаже - с окнами на старый город и Каспий. Завтрак это: омлет или яичница, томаты, огурцы, колбаса, разные виды сыров, хлеб и масло + чай или кофе. Но если вам не хочется завтракать в отеле - вокруг очень много заведений которые предлагают завтрак на любой вкус.
У меня был номер с большой кроватью, который убирали когда я оставляла ключ на респешен и просила убрать, без запроса они не заходят в номер! А так были нужны в разное время: утюг, тарелка, штопор - принесли. В душе мыло, шампунь, гель для душа, есть одноразовые тапочки.
На респшен работают замечательные гостеприимные люди, Ягиана - душа отеля, она заботливая, эмоциональная, всегда ответит на миллион вопросов, проконсультирует куда поехать на море, где самая вкусная пахлава, как будто к ней в гости приехала, она замечательно разговаривает на русском. И Ферзали - улыбчивый и разговорчивый парёнек, поднимающий настроение (с ним на местном или на английском).
В моём номере розетки были не очень удобно расположены и стены тонкие, слышимость отличная. А в остальном - мне понравилось. Расположение - лучшее, какое только можно представить (находится в самом старом городе и до метро недалеко и до набережной, до Музея ковра минут 15-20 пешком). Если у вас большой багаж, то будет трудновато тащить его по мощёной мостовой старого города в горку.

PPengguna TetamuСам отель больше тянет на 3*, а не на 4*. Рядом стройка, что добавляет шума, пыли и соответственно портит вид из окна. На 7-ом этаже советую не селиться, поскольку на 8-ом находится круглосуточный ресторан, в котором периодически проходят различные мероприятия, после которых персонал расставляет мебель обратно. Уснуть при таком раскладе сложно, так как шумоизоляции естественно никакой нет. Завтраки разнообразные, шведский стол, но качество еды на твёрдую тройку. Постельное бельё чистое, но с дырками. До старого города неспешным шагом примерно 25-30 минут. В общем не могу сказать, что было ужасно, но второй раз в отель точно не вернусь.
