Hotel berhampiran Kuil Dacheng, Nanjing

The room size is just right for two people. Although the primary bedroom is relatively compact, the relaxing corner is a nice bonus—it adds a sense of space and offers a cozy spot to unwind while enjoying the night street view through the window. Since the hotel is located in a lively nightlife area, it’s very convenient for exploring the local atmosphere and cuisine. However, the street noise can last until midnight.

We upgraded our standard room for a balcony room with a beautiful river view. The staff were really friendly and helpful! The hotel is in a great location, within walking distance to cute coffee shops and other tourist areas. The hotel is very clean and was really a joy to stay at.

This is one of the lovely hotel that I have stayed when travelling to China. The room is spacious and cozy, it has a big window for chill when you don't want to go out for lunch or dinner. The location is great too, 5 mins walk to Confucius walking street for shopping, as well as close to Confucius Temple Station (Line 3& Line 5), very convenient to go anywhere, especially to Nanjing South Railways Station (only takes 15 mins). The hotel itself provides daily breakfast, it is Chinese traditional dishes, less but enough for morning energies. Lastly, I am expressive with their receptionists, a girl I met when I check-in is so friendly and kindly, she helped us too many things. Thanks all of you made my trip is wonderful and I will remember Nanjing among China cities. See ya!

Window cannot be closed tightly so there is noise and safety concerns. Room isn't clean. Seems to have some bugs or pest in bedsheets and desk perhaps due to the window issue. Service was also bad as receptionists were either slow or easily distracted by other guests. During check out when I needed help. The receptionist on duty was just browsing social media and wasn't helpful when I expressed help to call cab. Room condition is different from picture, but run down and the walk to metro station is hot with no shelter. I will not recommend this hotel. Nearby night river view is ok.

A short walk from the metro station, and it is located in between fuzimiao and laomendong. Very convenient! There is also a foot reflexology place across the road. It is a bit difficult to find at first as the entrance is a little hidden. It looks like a hotel. Bed is a little hard ilike some reviewers mentioned. They provide slippers and toothbrush but not towels. You can buy a disposable one for 5yuan at the counter. There were also no hand towel in the room even though there’s a sink, and no hand towel or paper even in the shared toilet! I think the toilet security could be better. The entrance of the women’s toilet faces the men’s room, and when I’m at the sink washing my hands or brushing my teeth, I feel awkward in my pyjamas when males open and close that door. In addition, there is NO locks in the shower cubicles, when I was showering, someone opened the door… and the shower doors are translucent, from the inside I could see people opposite me showering… it is a shared floor so I think adding a code for the entrance of the toilet or changing the doors of the showers to be opaque and with locks, would make it much safer

Extremely great service and warm welcome from the front desk. The location is superb with right opposite the Fuzimiao area. It’s also very near to the metro station. The room is very comfortable with a sofa area, a table and big space. The hotel also offers self service laundry service, located at the balcony area. Definitely worth the money and will come back again if we visit Nanjing next time.

Location and amenities were great but only one big issue I really can't swallow. For the two days that I went out and clicked on the Do Not Disturb tab, both days my room was entered and cleaned up. I called the front desk to clarify if that was routine - the cleaners entering the room even if the DND button was up - and the reply was ”如果旅客不需要打扫卫生可以跟前台说一声我们再通知保洁 (If travellers doesnt require a room makeup, they can inform the front desk and we will inform the cleaners” which I asked then what's the point of installing the DND button and make up room button separately. I am pissed because I trusted that no one was going to enter the room and technically, supposedly could be in contact with my belongings as had my luggage was unpacked and lying around. Now that they breached this trust and while nothing was missing, who can possibly assure that no one touched my things or had strangers entering the room in the process. I will avoid staying here in the future and choose another place that doesn't require me to go that extra step of pressing the DND button AND informing the front desk, which is pure ridiculous.

The hotel's facilities and equipment are complete, and the facilities and equipment in the room are also complete. The TV is very smooth to watch movies, and the bathroom is dry and wet.The location of the room is very good, next to the Confucius Temple.Surrounded by a gourmet street, the front desk service attitude is very good.

The location is ideal, just walk to everything. Although the room is very small and dated, it was comfortable. The staff were very nice. I wish I'd stayed longer in Nanjing, I did so much but there was still more to do. Also when i was tired, I had the Nanjing duck delivered to the hotel...so delicious.
