MMeViewCheck-in was fast and add hotel weChat. The staff respond so fast and if you need anything they delivery to our room very quickly. There is 3 floors and lift but not the the hotel entrance that you need to lift the bag up. I love how they separate shower and toilet. Room is big as well but I stay room with window room so you may heard the outside sound sometime but it is ok for me as the bed is comfortable

Excellent location and cleanliness, and we received outstanding and quick service from the support team. Note this isn't a hotel, it's a sweet little apartment on an alley, just off of the busy streets, right in the centre of Shanghai. Instructions to get there and get in were very clear. Would absolutely stay there again. Thank you :)

PPengguna TetamuWe stayed as a family of four with two children. The Peninsula Shanghai provided us with interconnecting rooms. The rooms were excellent, tastefully decorated and quiet. The amenities (hotel pool and gym) were in very good condition, breakfast was great, and we enjoyed our stay thoroughly. We'll be back for the last leg of our journey and are looking forward to it.

CCurious TravellerGreat location if you are heading for Disneyland or has an early flight to catch the next morning. Otherwise it is quite far from Shanghai city center - JingAn area- with no traffic - 45 min taxi ride) The hotel offers free shuttle to Disneyland which departs the hotel at 7:20am; and returns to the hotel at 10:20pm. It was a bit late for us since we finished watching the fireworks at 830pm. (Disneyland closes at 9:30pm ). So we just took a taxi (very few people waiting and cost ~RMB50; while the online car service costs ~R30 but the waiting area was very congested.
The free shuttle to Putong airport departs on the hour and starts from 4 or 5am and takes less than 30min. Need to book one day in advance at the front desk.
Our 3 persons family room has a double bed and a proper single bed( not fold up bed). Spacious enough for luggages.
The negatives - we booked and paid for 3 persons - but hotel only offered breakfast for 2. We booked 2 nights but only has breakfast for one day. Strangest arrangement I have ever seen.
BF - has reasonable options of Chinese and western cuisine . Noodle Bar was the best.
Night snack- also has noodle bar with dumplings and congee.

PPengguna TetamuThe hotel is beautiful, situated right on the bund. The breakfast is good and the beds are comfortable. My family and I were travelling through China for 4 weeks, and I booked this place for 4 nights, we usually like to stay in places where we can do laundry, here we had to use an outsourced business to get our laundry done as there are no laundry facilities close by and it would have cost us $500 aud to get our laundry done through the hotel. Just something to be mindful of if you are travelling with a family. However in saying that, the process of outsourcing was only made possible because of the assistance given by the hotel.
I’m glad we booked it, the experience overall was great.

Sebaik sahaja anda memasuki W, terdapat haruman memori uniknya Apa yang anda lihat di hadapan anda adalah persembahan cita rasa pereka, dan apa yang anda dengar di telinga anda adalah lagu berirama, yang membuatkan orang berasa gembira dan santai. meninggalkan memori perjalanan yang tidak dapat dilupakan dan mendalam!
Persekitaran sarapan pagi juga luar biasa, dengan pelbagai jenis makanan, yang sangat sesuai untuk mendaftar masuk dan mengambil gambar.
Kaca partition di sebelah tab mandi boleh dilaraskan kepada mod kalis cahaya, yang memberikan rasa privasi Reka bentuk ini sangat bagus berbaring dan tidur sehingga subuh.

I initially booked the lower bunk with shared facilities which is in effect like having a bottom bunk in a hostel except here is a door to your own space.
I shifted my arrival dates thus had to switch to a different room type: the single ensuite. I cost a bit more but was well worth it.
I thought the room was well designed and the perfect solution for those who do not like to waste money on a hotel room…just want a clean and convenient place to sleep.
The room had a single bed with an ensuite. The floor space was only sufficient to open the door, but other space was well designed. The space under the bed was sufficient for my multiple bags. Comfortable bed. Next to the headspace of the bed there were to shelves plus additional hooks to hang clothes…making 10 hooks in total….plus multiple hangers. Also next to the bed were additional light switches so you need not get up to turn off lights. There were two bottles of water, topped up each day, tissues, free earplugs and a small bin so while in bed you did not need to reach for the bin next to the bed or in the ensuite. These touches showed the thought put into the design during refurbishment of the space.
The shower room was small but I had no problems. Shampoo and shower gel included as well as toothbrush and comb. Small mirror in ensuite and long mirror on wall. Wall mounted hairdryer. The towels are disposable type, not my preference and I used one alongside my travel towel.
Housekeeping came each day to empty bins and top of water. The lady was very nice and upon noticing that I had been ill for a couple of days, inquired after my health and checked that I had medicine.
There is a laundry; need to scan a QR code to use the program to pay. 8rmb for a wash and dry is a bargain.
Near reception there is a microwave, water dispenser to get hot water, tea on tap as well as a wide selection of free tea bags, instant coffee as well as ground coffee machine & candies.
The room has vents for air circulation on all the time (no windows) and a separate air conditioner control. When arriving I automatically turned on the air con, that night I felt uncomfortably warm. The aircon temp could not go lower than 18 which is reasonable except the temperature felt much higher than 18, and even though the fan speed sounded louder at different speeds it caused no movement in air. On the 2nd day I experimented with leaving the air con turned off….it was much cooler than when on so I did not use the air con again during my stay and was not too warm again.
Location: West Nanjing road stop is on line 2 meaning no changes for Hongqiao or Pudong airports. It is also a connection for lines 12&13 making it easy to get anywhere in the city. The hotel is about 10-15min walk from the metro, which did not bother me at all, and I also made use of the many public bicycles. The hotel has responded to previous feedback as the instructions prior to check-in had detailed instructions from multiple dropping off points. I found the hotel no problem…it is on the 4th floor of a small building within a complex. When I went out on the first night, I came back to find that door locked, but it was easy to get back in by following the instructions from an alternative drop off point.
Points to consider:
- The walls of the ensuite are glass thus may be an issue if sharing a room
- The walls are thin and sound travels so not good for a very light sleeper. I stayed 10 nights and on only 2 nights did I have a noisy neighbour
- you may feel to cramped of travelling with large case.
- the rooms on the inside have no windows. The continuous air circulation may cause dry eyes and throat when waking up. When in the room I sometimes left the door open to not feel stuffy.
is new and modern. It was always clean. It is great value for money, especially considering it is in the city centre.
I stayed 10 nights.

PPengguna TetamuIt was a quite small and cozy room with old Chinese vibe. I would recommend to stay to feel how usual people live in China.
What I like most of all:
it was not serviced appartment with front desk, but online team - group in Wechat created works very well and solve the question in real time quite effectively. they helped us to register in Police as foreigner (sometimes even serviced appartment with 24 hour front desk reject with it). The only thing the communication feels no so polite- ”commandarm style”, from the other hand this feeling could be probably explained by language barier and cultural difference. So I would evaluate this like 4.5 from 5 stars.
what caould be improved:
Or more precise it could be greate to inform the visitors in advance about everything. Usually properties shows not only property inside photo but also outside. It was a little surprise for us where the property placed. It was a private sector and I attached the photos to my review. They are the photos that were absent at description, I would say it would be good to inform visitors about this in advance. From the other hand in addition where the property is placed (in old private sector) the future visitors will have advantage of living at very center of Shanghai paying reasonable price. The rest of the photo at description are correct and I can I approve the condition of apartment corresponds to description and that is important.
What I can add in addition. Despite on property informs in advance that property will not provide the soap, shampoo, etc, I would say to have a soap is more important than having toothbrush of single use, because it is very annoying to buy all stuff at every new hotel because of luggage weight.
