Hotel berhampiran Stesen Xujiahui, Shanghai

The hotel is quite okay in general, it’s not super close to the metro station but still in the urban centre. The staffs are helpful, and there are plenty of restaurants and shops in the surrounding. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the closest station (line 1); within 30 minutes you can get to the bund and tourist areas like that. It’s a good-enough balance between cost and convenience.

The most thoughtful hotel out of the 7 hotels we have been to so far in Shanghai and the surrounding area. Very cosy and warm atmosphere and interior design, upon arrival, they gave us a bag of fruit, extra water bottles in addition to the ones in our rooms, and also free tea in the lounge room. The room has more water bottles and some free cans of soda. The room includes a vanity with a big mirror as well as an additional movable makeup mirror with extra zoom. The bathroom also includes a warming rack to warm up your towels. Each day, they gave us another bag of different varieties of fruits and more bottled water. It has cultural decorations, with a doodle map on the wall and local Shanghainese dialect phrases. Great to learn about some localities, especially for travellers or tourists new to this area. They have a long breakfast time range, so you can sleep in and still get food. They have actual good coffee and delicious wonton compared to other hotels we have been to in the area. When leaving, they have services to help arrange a taxi to get to your next destination. All staff are very approachable and friendly, from the reception, kitchen, and the cleaning staff.

Our stay at Lihe hotel was absolutely amazing! The second day of our stay was very cold and the  receptionist offered to provide us with a heater so that the room would be even warmer. There was a cleaner every day who changed the bed sheets and towels. The hotel is close to a metro station and is served by about two or three lines. The room was generally clean and spacious

The hotel has a nice location, great breakfast options and a nice swimming pool with a sauna. But overall experience was spoiled by a few moments. The first one was some trash on the floor of the room. The room wasn’t clean properly. We went to talk to the receptionist and they gave us another room right away. Rooms themselves look a bit tired and worn out. Beds are comfortable.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. It’s situated in a more residential part of Shanghai, around 30–40 minutes from Yu Garden, which gives it a more local feel. There are two metro lines within about a 10-minute walk, making it easy to get around the city. Right next to the hotel you’ll find Starbucks and Manner (a popular local coffee chain) that open at 7am (convenient when you are dealing with jet lag) as well as plenty of bakeries and small eateries so it’s very convenient for grabbing a quick bite. For my breakfast, I often picked up a coffee from Manner and a jianbing (a Chinese savoury crepe) just across the road. The hotel itself is slightly dated, but the room was spacious and very comfortable. It was cleaned daily, and four bottles of water were replenished each day, which was a nice touch. The breakfast offered a very good selection as well. I stayed on the 15th floor, where the shower pressure was perfectly decent. The Wi-Fi was “strong” enough for things like Spotify, but it struggled with YouTube 😉. That said, the connection was much better down in the lobby. The staff were young and didn’t speak much English, but we managed perfectly well using Google Translate. Overall, it was a really lovely experience, and I would certainly consider staying here again on my next visit to Shanghai.

Good hotel with a convenient location: a nice neighborhood and a metro station nearby, making it easy to get around the city. There is a small gym, as well as washing and drying machines, which is very convenient for longer stays. Housekeeping was done frequently and well. The room also had a smart toilet. The view from the window was pleasant. On the downside, it was not possible to connect a laptop to the TV via HDMI. The room felt a bit outdated, and the floor was damaged. There was only one bedside table for two beds. There were not many European power sockets, and the USB sockets did not work. Sound insulation was poor, and because there is a tennis court on the roof, it was possible to hear people playing. Overall, a decent option thanks to the location and basic comfort, but the room could use some renovation.

The room is very spacious and clean. The linens are clean too. Water, earplugs and snacks are provided upon The staff is friendly and willing to assist me with my questions and requests made. The hotel is quite convenient as it is near Xujiahui station and attractions such as Wukang building. The gym and washing machine are great. The wall are not very soundproofed as I can hear the TV sound from the stayer next door. Nevertheless, I will still recommend this hotel!

Very well located, next to the Xujiahui Metro Station (Lines 1, 9, 11), the Library, a C-Store convenience store. It's also 10-15 min away from the French Concession by bike which is one of the nicest areas in Shanghai. Line 1 gets to you People Square, Yu Gardens and East Nanjing Road / The Bund very quickly. The staff was extremely helpful even if their command of English was not advanced as advertised (but with translators, it was easy to communicate). The rooms were sparkling clean. The breakfast was pricey but the quality was very high (homemade dishes prepared by real cooks - unlike many hotels that just reheat food). The only thing I was a bit disappointed about was the gym, and the absence of swimming pool (it was also missing last year, ”under renovation” they said)

Very recommend this hotel who came visit Shanghai with didi (taxi). The location is so peaceful and not that far from the city. The pillow and bedding is super comfy which my aunt bought one pillow back home. I also want to bought bedding back home too 🤣 The staff is very supportive and helpful. I ask load of questions every single day. They help us to order the delivery and recommend us a lot of restaurants we should go. Strongly recommend this Hotel to anyone and I will be back at this hotel again for the next visit.

The bathroom was also spotless and stocked with quality toiletries. One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel’s [restaurant/breakfast buffet]. The food was delicious, with a variety of options to choose from. The staff was attentive and provided excellent service throughout my stay. The facilities were also impressive. I enjoyed using the [swimming pool, gym, spa], which was well-maintained and not too crowded. Overall, I highly recommend [Hotel Name] for anyone visiting [City/Location].
