Tempah tiga malam dan hotel ini menaik taraf bilik secara percuma. Perkhidmatan bilik sangat baik, begitu juga dengan perkhidmatan di meja depan. Mereka memberi baucar percuma untuk secawan Americano di kafe lobi tingkat bawah (perlu tambah bayaran jika tukar kepada minuman lain). Pilihan sarapan pagi banyak dan hidangannya segar. Lokasi hotel juga sangat bagus (kira-kira 12 minit berjalan kaki dari SKP dan Wenchang Gate). Secara keseluruhan, bilik ini berbaloi dengan harganya.

Menginap di kawasan istana 华清池 merupakan satu keistimewaan. Anda bukan sahaja boleh menikmati akses sepanjang hari ke tempat mandian air panas, malah anda juga mendapat kemasukan tanpa had ke taman. Saya pasti akan kembali ke hotel ini sebagai tempat percutian peribadi saya, untuk menyelami masa lalu namun dengan perkhidmatan yang terbaik dan benar-benar luar biasa. Terima kasih khas kepada layanan Cikgu yang membuatkan kami rasa seperti berada di rumah sendiri. Kakitangan di restoran juga sangat membantu, terutamanya untuk alahan makanan kami. Dan kemudahan moden adalah satu kelebihan. Hotel ini benar-benar merangkumi intipati sebuah hotel 5 bintang.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience at the Sofitel People’s Legend in Xi’an. Our room was spacious, elegant, and incredibly comfortable – the perfect place to relax after exploring the city’s rich history. Dining at Dolce Vita was a delight, with exquisite cuisine and a warm atmosphere.
What truly made our stay unforgettable, however, was the exceptional service we received. A heartfelt thank you to Ruizi, Themis, Fancy, and Tommy, who went above and beyond to make our Mother’s Day celebration so special. Their warmth, attention to detail, and genuine care made us feel truly cherished.
If we could give more than five stars, this would be a solid 10. We will most certainly return!

For work and otherwise, I’ve often stayed in various hotels across China, so I have something to compare it to. What matters to me: a comfortable mattress — neither too firm nor too soft — an orthopedic pillow, cleanliness, an openable window, a quiet room, a mosquito net, and a laundry room in the hotel. The rest are nice bonuses: a deep bathtub, the ability to brew tea right in the room, and drinks and snacks included. Afternoon tea, an evening snack, and breakfast in the room — very pleasant service. 🙌🏻
The interior is elegant, reminiscent of a good spa — blackout curtains, tall doors, minimalism… calm and cozy. The location is in the city center, about a 15‑minute walk from the Muslim Quarter, the Drum Tower, and the Bell Tower.
The hotel manager, Ms. Wang Fang, was especially kind — she is very knowledgeable about history and culture and a delightful conversationalist.
Now is a great time of year to visit Xi’an. By the way, in central China, only Chinese‑style sockets are often available, so keep that in mind.

TTinaMThis is a lovely hotel with kind, welcoming staff. I read some reviews saying the rooms are very old etc, but I don't see how that makes this hotel any less great - the rooms are still clean and well maintained. I arrived in Xi'an after 48 hours of hectic traveling due to a missed train, and the staff at Meihao Hotel were very welcoming, were happy to use translation apps to communicate with me. The room was large, with a view of the neighbourhood outside (mostly just traffic jams haha, but that's Xi'an). The location may not be super ideal for some as it isn't in the city centre, but honestly it was no inconvenience at all, as the nearest subway station is a brisk walk away -- about 5-7 minutes. If you're arriving by train and carrying a lot of heavy luggage, then yes, coming via subway might be a bit of a challenge (but not impossible!)
The housekeeping staff especially were very warm and kind. Thank you for always brightening my day when I walked by you all.
A few hours after I checked in, a lovely staff member knocked on my door and offered me a small bowl of soup. I was very confused as I hadn't ordered anything, but upon seeing other guests were receiving this too, I gladly accepted. It was such an unexpected, kind gesture -- this hotel truly knows how to make one feel welcome.
I fell ill on the second day of my stay, and thankfully the room was so comfortable, I could recuperate well. My only complaint is that the bedsheets, comforter, pillowcases etc -- all the bedding essentially smells of cigarette smoke. I could also smell cigarette smoke from beyond my room's door at night. This was despite there being a clear sign in the room saying smoking was not allowed inside. Though this is certainly not something you can fault hotel staff for (if guests are adamant to smoke inside, what can housekeeping possibly do?), I just thought I would mention this for any other guests who might be very sensitive to the smell, perhaps you could request staff to rewash the bedding until the smoke smell is entirely gone.
After checking out, I also noticed there were some freebies that were part of my booking that I unfortunately missed out on :( There was meant to be welcome fruit, afternoon tea for two and a midnight snack, which I would have loved to try. There was no welcome fruit offered, but I did receive some refreshing juice when I arrived to check in -- it was a hot day and I was grateful for the welcome drink. For the other stuff, as I didn't realise it was part of the booking perks, I never asked, and consequently seem to have missed out.
I also want to say that aside from the rooms, the lobby area is quite lovely -- very tastefully decorated, peaceful, and I even saw they had some free coffee out for guests! I only noticed this when I was checking out though, and my taxi was already on the way to pick me up, so I could not indulge. Maybe it would be helpful if the reception staff could share all this info with guests when they check in, especially with the foreign guests who are already a bit confused and trying to get their bearings ^-^ Just a suggestion! Thank you for a nice stay. I will definitely be back again soon.

Problem is other hotel room occupants who smoke inside their rooms. We actually requested to change the room once due to smelly room after 1 night of inhaling the lingering cigarrette smell. However, the room that we changed also have smell on the night after changed and after feedback to staffs via trip.com messanger, they able to solve the issue with smokers from nearby room and from that day on, we can sleep in a room with cleaner air. Nice breakfast, tea break and supper are provided on 1st floor.

SShoumiao我們是五個大老爺們入住，住得非常舒服，這個就是在小區裏的民宿，裝修很好，周圍安靜，設施齊全，地暖很暖和，開着窗户都不冷，新風空調啥的都沒毛病，小區管理很嚴，周圍就是萬達和兩條小吃街！吃的應有盡有，不過在房間吃太舒服了，有兩天晚上我們都故意打包回來吃的，吃完打麻將打撲克…都不想出去玩了；周圍交通很方便，走幾步就是地鐵站；有兩間卧室是一個小套房，一間帶獨衞，還有兩間用一個衞生間，三個衞生間確實足夠用了總之，大平層住着真舒服啊
