Hotel berhampiran Roncalli's Apollo Varieté, Duesseldorf

The room was big and clean. Breakfast was good. The front desk was very friendly. Big thumbs up for Alper, he was very friendly and giving a lot of good recommendations for restaurants. The location is a little far from most of things, not recommend for walking . Mostly a long walk to Airport, Main train station and restaurants.

Nice location in Little Tokyo of Düsseldorf. Friendly staff. Clean and modern hotel. Breakfast was good and you have many choice. Nice bar and the have family board games.

We come to this hotel every year, and we can see the facilities in the room degrading. The were fine around 2016 to 2019, after covid lock down, when we were back in 2023, still good, and 2024, fine. Till this year, 2025, the toilet flush is half broke, shower head is not in good condition. Breakfast service is shrank, no more take away coffee cups.

The staff are courteous and friendly and the breakfast is very tasty. It is convenient to arrive and depart from the central Station and also close to shopping, dining and sightseeing. I really liked the design and the ambience in the hotel because they don't have loud music (it was very pleasant).

Das Hotelpersonal ist super freundlich und die Lage ist sehr gut. Nur ein kurzer Weg zur Kö. Der Hotelparkplatz ist sehr eng. Das Frühstück war gut.

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Düsseldorf for 3 days and had a very pleasant experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, making check-in and check-out easy. The breakfast offered a good variety of options, and the location was convenient for exploring Düsseldorf and using public transportation. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and I would consider staying here again on a future visit.

Hotel is good, room service is nice, staff is kind. Facilities are generally in a good condition. Unfortunately, it only has one elevator, so, please avoid to use it during the peak hours. Also, dining hall is quite small, you may have to sit outside at the bar area. 😂

location is A+. 2 minuite walk to the Heinrich underground station which takes you straight to the Messe. Hotel is nice. strange layout but its a medieval building so its part of the charm. Front desk leaves much to desire for a 5 star hotel. the room is ok. was given room 131. mattress was collapsed and definitely not commercial 5 star hotel standard.felt more of a foam cushion than a mattress with just 10 cm height of cushioning. i am 1.87 mtrs height and 110kgs. the mattress went concave when i lied down and my upper back muscles namely rhomboids and lats felt it badly in the morning. Advised the front desk who replied nothing can be done because all mattresses are like that. i don't insist or complain further if i am refused or rejected the first time i ask. on my checkout i advised front desk whose manager was present and i advised i was very happy with location but not with bed. i had no reply from her and she moved away stating in awe that no one had such an issue. on a positive note the breakfast operators who were very attentive and courteous at all times. for 950 euros for 3 nights i think they are very lacking in not being able to provide the basic hotel service of a good nights rest.

フロントの方達がとても親切でした。 タオルもふかふかで真っ白で高級品でした。 シーツも清潔、部屋の掃除も行き届いていました。 室内にオイルヒーターがあるので温度調整もできて便利です。 6階の部屋の窓からは向かいのアパートに鳥たちが整列して囀るのを見られます。 シャワーの水圧も十分。温度調節は少し難しいです。 部屋自体は古いですが、壁は綺麗に塗り直されています。 ただ、注意点としてはエレベータが5階までしかないのでシングル部屋の6階の部屋が割り当てられたら重いスーツケースを自力で担いで階段を上らなければいけないので、体力と腕力に自身がない人は最初から5階以下の部屋を選びましょう。

The Lady at check in was upbeat and friendly. I requested (due to the heat) in advance for a fan to be put into the room and for a quiet room away from the Main Road. Both requests were fulfilled. The beds are comfortable and the shower had a good pressure. Breakfast room was spacious and well looked after and the spread of items were very satisfying. We would return anytime. Excellent choice for customers who need to be near the Main Railway Station (3mins) walk. There is also a large Lidl opposite the Station a mere 4 minutes walk away from the hotel. From the Main Railway Station to the airport takes 10 minutes and costs 3.80 Euro per adult.
