• The bed was very comfortable and provided a good night’s sleep. • The air conditioning did not have heating, but the blanket was thick enough to keep warm; the temperature that night was around 13°C. • The room was very spacious—enough to fully open two large suitcases on the floor with plenty of space left to walk around. • The bathroom included a hairdryer. • The shower drain seemed slightly clogged, causing slow drainage; we had to keep the water pressure low while showering. • No drinking water was provided in the room, but the front desk informed us that the tap water from the bathroom sink is safe to drink. • There was no kettle in the room, but you can request hot water from the front desk—they kindly provided it from the cafeteria free of charge. • Although the hotel is not located right in the tourist center and isn’t within short walking distance to major attractions, it has excellent transport links: there are both a bus stop and a metro station right outside and around the corner. • It’s very convenient whether you’re arriving from Atocha Station or heading to key destinations like Madrid Royal Palace, Moncloa Bus Terminal (for Segovia express), Plaza Eliptica (for Toledo express), or Estacion de Autobuses Madrid Sur (for Porto overnight bus). • The front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful. On the day of check-out, we left our luggage there for free while we visited Toledo. When we returned around 6:00 PM, they even provided hot water for our instant noodles. We rested in the cafeteria for a few hours before heading to catch our overnight bus to Porto. • Their assistance made our trip much smoother and more comfortable.

La habitación es cómoda, y el baño es grande! En general está bien, lo único q no me gustó fue el servicio, indique que mi aire acondicionado no estaba bien, la habitación no enfriaba nada, lo comenté y no me dieron solución, ni siquiera para cambiar de habitación o algo. Es decir, si hay algún problema no te dan solución, y estar en verano en pleno calor sin aire es un desastre

It’s decent , Heating system for the floor which was good for the cold weather . I felt comfortable for a I paid for .

I was worried about some bad reviews, but I didn't have to worry ☺️ The room and bathroom were all clean and the staff and other guests were kind 👍 There is a shopping mall nearby and I recommend it to everyone because you can go to the center by bus 🫶

We reached the hotel by about 20 minutes walk from Estacion Atocha with luggage. It wasn’t difficult as the road is generally flat. We were allowed an early check-in luckily. The room is clean with moderate size. We had hairdryer in the room & no water leaking when showering as complained by other guests. I wish there was a kettle in the room even though the hotel provided hot water in the lobby. I don’t like its bathroom sink design which is a bit too high & small. Water will easily splash over. Generally it is a nice stay for a short trip in Madrid.

The reception speaks fluent English. The room is spacious. WiFi is a bit troublesome to connect, it has four choices, somehow can’t connect with gmail, have to register the last one. WiFi signal is very weak at one end of the bed, need to put the smartphone at the other end of the bed to be connected. There are toothbrushes and toothpaste etc but no slippers. There are also ironing board and iron in the room for you to iron your clothes if needed. The room shows some sign of wear, but overall still good.

I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. I was worried when I booked it because it had good reviews, but it was considered a 2 star hotel, and the square foot room size on the booking sites was 129sq ft which is extremely small for a room with a queen bed. The online pictures didn’t match the room size noted, and it was New Year’s week, so prices all over Madrid were high, so we decided to take a risk and book it. We were pleased that the room was much bigger than 129 sq ft. It was a comfortable size. I also like the historic elements in this hotel. It’s right across the street from the Atocha train/ bus station, and very convenient to walk to most of the tourist sites. There were plenty of restaurants all around the hotel. Our room had 2 windows that open like a Juliet balcony to the plaza where there was a Christmas market.

The location of this hotel is very close to the main attractions of Madrid by walk. However, it is also located at a complicated area of Madrid - we witnessed someone caught by police at Carrefour, quite a number of homelessness begging near the hotel, metro and the plaza nearby. Some would ask for money proactively. For the size of room, it was very small and we couldn’t open two luggage boxes at the same time. They didn’t provide amenities but only provided 3 in 1 cleaning liquid soap. You also needed to ask for a cup from the front desk. It was HKD1800+ per night which was a bit expensive and not value for money from my side.

concierge was helpful in finding a last minute cab to the airport. four pax with four luggages was hard to find a cab. apart from that hotel is walkable distance to all the attractions
