I recently completed a **6-night stay** at Hotel Vischio Toyama, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. From the moment I arrived until the day I checked out, the experience was seamless and incredibly comfortable.
### Outstanding Service
The **front desk receptionists** deserve a special mention. They were consistently professional, polite, and went out of their way to be helpful. Whether it was handling check-in or assisting with local inquiries, their hospitality made me feel truly welcome.
### Room & Amenities
The accommodations exceeded my expectations:
* **Cleanliness:** The room was spotless and maintained to a very high standard throughout my stay.
* **Space:** Unlike many city hotels in Japan, the room felt notably spacious, providing plenty of room to relax and manage luggage.
* **Amenities:** Everything you could possibly need was provided. The amenities were thoughtful and complete, ensuring a ”home away from home” feel.
### Unbeatable Location
The location is perhaps the hotel's strongest selling point:
* **Transport:** It is situated **directly next to Toyama Station**, making it the perfect base for exploring the region or catching the Shinkansen.
* **Convenience:** The hotel sits right above a vibrant **shopping mall**.
* **Dining:** You are spoiled for choice with **numerous eateries** located just floors below the hotel, offering everything from quick bites to authentic local cuisine.
**Verdict:** If you are visiting Toyama, stay here. The combination of professional service, pristine rooms, and a central location makes it the best choice in the city. **Highly recommended!**

PPengguna TetamuExcellent location - just a few minutes walk from Toyama station and Toyota Rent a Car is just opposite. Room is spacious compared to other hotels I’ve stayed in Japan and really clean as well. Will definitely look out other JAL hotels for my next trip to Japan.

KKen SooMy stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Toyama was excellent from start to finish. The hotel is modern, stylish, and very well maintained. Its location is extremely convenient, only a few minutes’ walk from Toyama Station, which made traveling around the city and nearby areas very easy.
The room was thoughtfully designed, clean, and comfortable. Despite being in the city center, it was quiet at night and I had a very good rest. The bed and pillows were especially comfortable after a long day of traveling.
The service was also outstanding. The staff were polite, welcoming, and professional throughout my stay. Check-in was smooth, and the signature warm DoubleTree cookie on arrival was a lovely touch that made the experience even more memorable.
Overall, this is a great hotel choice in Toyama. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city.

CCat SlaveLocated just steps from Toyama Station, our stay at this hotel was truly delightful. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast spread was exceptional. The French toast, in particular, was a standout for me. It added such a sweet and memorable touch to our time in Toyama.

SSunnY SnowYLarge room size with lots of spaces even for triple room. Hotel itself is pretty old style interior (shiny wooden). Carpet is a bit old. Location is next to Toyama castle and 2kms from Kansui park at the river. Good for a morning run.
Staff at reception area and lobby drop off are very friendly and helpful. The car park is a building away from main entrance.

PPengguna TetamuHotel location is really good -opposite department store and very closed to JR station. The center of the town could be reached by walking but hotel staff gave us tram tickets for free. Breakfast is really good. Staff is really nice and some of them speak very good English.

And one of the best things at this hotel is a very generous number of amenities provided to guests - bath pads, body sponge, toothbrush kit, and many others. Even though the location is a bit far from Toyama JR station, it’s not hard to find, and it’s quite walkable from the station. The lady at the reception was super nice. She reminded us of what Japanese are really like. If I get a chance to visit his tower again in the future, I would definitely come back to this hotel.
