Hotel berhampiran Balai Cerap Cheomseongdae, Gyeongju

I had such a wonderful stay at this hanok-style hotel that I’m already dreaming of coming back. From the moment I arrived, everything felt calm, welcoming and thoughtfully prepared. The traditional architecture, the soft lights in the courtyard at night and the view over the tiled rooftops created a very special atmosphere that you just don’t get in a “normal” hotel. My room was cozy, bright and spotlessly clean. I especially loved the little wooden platform by the window with the cushions – it became my favorite spot to sit with a book, drink a coffee and look out over the rooftops and mountains. Waking up to that view in the morning and seeing the same roofs softly lit at night made my stay feel almost magical. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive. You can feel that they really care about their guests and about sharing Korean culture. The small details, like the beautiful traditional bookmark as a gift, made me feel genuinely appreciated and added a personal touch I will not forget. Overall, this stay was one of the highlights of my trip. If you are looking for a place that combines comfort, authenticity and a peaceful atmosphere in the middle of a hanok neighborhood, I can only highly recommend this hotel. I would definitely love to stay here again.

Отель находится прямо рядом с самой веселой-сувенирной улицей, от того, что не прямо на ней - тихо и уютно. В тоже время, большая часть достопримечательностей рядом. В номере есть все для удобства и одноразовые тапочки, шампуни, мыло и даже кофе в дрип пакетах местного производства. Кроме того, в подарок была бутылка шампанского, что тоже было приятным плюсом. Это отдельный ханок (традиционный корейский домик), с одной комнатой, душ+туалет и мини прихожая. Из минусов: На территории 3 таких ханока и слышимость очень и очень хорошая. Мы снимали 2 ханока и было удобно, из 3его ханока никого не видели, но если вы снимаете только один, то могут быть траблы с соседями. Тк дом деревянный, то он очень продувается, мы включали подогрев пола, когда он протопился, стало тепло, иначе мб прохладно. Рядом с местом нет парковки, до нее 10 мин пешком, но она уже входит в стоимость ханока, поэтому отдельной доплаты нет. Нам не разрешили заехать на час раньше. Сотрудник был немного груб. Но, в целом, хорошее место для того чтобы побыть в нем 1-2 дня.

We had the most incredible experience staying at this beautiful hanok in Gyeongju!! It exceeded every expectation and then some. From the moment we arrived, everything felt warm, welcoming, and truly special. First of all, the location is unbeatable! It’s perfectly situated right by the market street, making it so easy to explore local food and culture, while also being within walking distance (or a short ride) to all the main attractions. Even better, it’s incredibly convenient for transport, just a short distance from both the express bus terminal (from Seoul) and the intercity bus terminal (onward to Busan), which made our travel stress-free. The hanok itself was simply stunning! Our room was surprisingly spacious, with gorgeous traditional design details and beautiful views from the windows that really made the stay feel serene and authentic. It struck the perfect balance between traditional charm and comfort. Speaking of comfort, the bed was fantastic, which was especially important to us since I’m 6 months pregnant. We were a bit nervous about sleeping arrangements beforehand, but it turned out to be incredibly comfortable, and we slept so well every night. The host was also incredibly thoughtful and gave extra yo (bedding) and an additional pillow, which was so sweet. What truly made this stay unforgettable, though, was the host’s kindness!! She was so warm and attentive throughout our visit. She kindly allowed us to check in early, which we really appreciated after travel, and each morning she brought us a delicious homemade breakfast, such a lovely and personal touch that made us feel completely taken care of. Everything about this stay felt genuine, peaceful, and full of heart. We left feeling rested, happy, and so grateful we chose this place. We genuinely couldn’t recommend it more highly. If you’re visiting Gyeongju, this is the place to stay!

Loved it here! Would highly recommend. The rooms and beds are clean, dark and quiet. Great to be able to do laundry here too. The shared areas are kept very clean throughout the day. A decent breakfast of eggs / toast and juice. However the true gem is the owner - she is delightful, kind and welcoming. Note - on arrival you need to call a Korean number for access which is tricky if have a foreign phone (perhaps message ahead with arrival time)

Super clean and spacious new villa in Hanok style. It's a bit out of town, but main attractions easily accessible with a car. Check-in was a bit difficult as we had no Korean number and communication was only possible in Korean. In the end a friendly worker helped us by calling the owner. Thanks again for his help.

아기 낳고 처음으로 가족 벚꽃놀이를 하러 경주 힐튼에 갔습니다. 벚꽃하면 보문단지이고 보문단지 걷다 들어갈수있게 힐튼에 갔구요! 처음 체크인 할땐 삼십분 넘게 대기했는데 대기하는 공간 마저도 브리저튼 영화속에 들어간것처럼 기다림에 지치기보단 설레임을 주능 공간이였습니다. 체크인 할 때에도 직원분이 너무 친절하셔서 아 여긴 정말 여행 온 기분을 내게 해주는 곳이라 생각하였고~ 1층에 인생네컷이 있어 사진도 한장 찰칵^.^ 아기가 놀수있는 키즈카페가 바로 옆에 있어 한참을 놀다 가려는데 아기가 더놀고싶은지 울더라구여^.^,, 저녁엔 레이크사이드 뷔페를 갔는데 저는 어느 뷔페에 가서도 그런 친절을 받지 못했어요.,! 랍스터를 먹는데 제게 집게를 드려도 될가요~? 물으시고 디저트를 고를때에도 실례가 되지 않는다면 추천해드려도 될가요 하시며 한 디저트에 대해 설명을 해주시는데 ., 아기가 아기컵을 떨어뜨리니 다시하나 가져다주시고., 정말 친절에 끝판왕이였습니다., 뷰는 말해뭐해고 아침 산책으로 보문단지 걷고 들어와서 정리하고 체크아웃했습니다. 정말 저희 가족의 첫 벚꽃놀이를 잘 즐길수 있게 경주 힐튼 선택을 잘한것 같습니다^.^ 다음에 또 꼬옥 갈거에요. 직원분들 정말 감사했습니다.🫶🏻🌿🌸🩵🫧🌌

Location was good. Close to central bus station, the tombs, 7 eleven next door. Stored luggage there before and after our stay. Staff was friendly and helpful.. No elevator but has a dumb waiter for luggage. 10,000 for laundry. Breakfast was just toast butter and jam. One morning there wasn't any toast and I couldn’t find staff to refill. For me the location was the most important thing. So I was happy.

The room far exceeded my expectations in every respect! I loved the decor inspired by traditional Korean aesthetics. However, there was a slight issue with flooding, as water sipped through the cracks from the shower onto the wooden floor of the bathroom area even with the shower door shut. Although this did not cause much discomfort, I am concerned about the long-term effect this may have on the beautiful wooden floors! The light switch for the cupboard was genuinely hard to find; I had to call the front desk after 11 p.m. to figure out how to turn it off so I could go to sleep. Since I was on a conference trip, I spent most of my time in the room preparing my presentation, and the tables and chairs were clearly not designed with business travelers in mind. Finally, I found the pillows surprisingly flimsy and regretted not bringing my own. For casual travelers looking only to relax, however, this is a truly outstanding hotel. These are minor blemishes on an otherwise great experience, and I'm leaving these comments only in case the staff is interested in making an excellent stay even more exceptional.

Beautiful chalet-style place for staying! The bed is very comfortable. The room is clean and organised. A few chairs and a table to do work or eat. Very spacious area for watching tv. There’s a bbq pit outside each unit. The host brought fresh towels for my second night, thank you! I love the beautiful decoration and swimming pool downstairs, even though it’s cold at night. It has a charming atmosphere, with an outdoor screen, swings and nice music. Sound insulation is ok, although you can hear the frogs croak outside from the bathroom. The place is about 20 mins’ walk from the bus stop with restaurants, so wear comfortable walking shoes. Theres a emart24 about 10 minutes away. There’s a restaurant next door that sells fried chicken till 11pm. It’s a must-try! Host and his wife are extremely helpful people. Thank you for your warm hospitality! Highly recommended for people who want privacy and lots of space to hang out.

전기차 충전소가 설치 되어 있습니다. 조식을 제공한다고 기재되어 있습니다. 다만 조식의 상태가 아주 열악합니다. 관리도 안되고 있고 지저분합니다. 조식은 '스낵면'에 손님에게 제공하기 싫어서 겨우 주는 듯한 토스트 입니다.
