Hotel berhampiran Muzium Daegwallyeong, Gangneung

The best place I've ever stayed in! Everything was thought out to the smallest detail, comfortable and modern, very clean, cozy, and beautiful! The hostess is amazing, attentive and kind. The room is quite large and spacious, it is not stuffy, but in addition, it is possible to turn on the air conditioner or open the doors to the terrace without fear of mosquitoes flying in, because there are nets installed. Stuffiness in the room is a critical problem for me. And here it is perfectly solved. And the mattress and duvet are absolutely incredible. I don't know what kind of technology it is, but it was perfect: not too soft and not too hard, everything seemed to adapt to you, and in the morning you didn't want to get out of bed. I slept absolutely amazingly here. And what a wonderful bathroom, and the steam closet... I could go on and on listing the advantages of this place. Usually, when you come to another country, you only need to sleep in your room; you don't need much more. But here, we just wanted to be in the room! Because it's so nice and wonderful, because it's calm and peaceful. Unfortunately, our time in the city was limited; there was so much to see and do, but we returned to the hotel every evening with joy. It was an indescribable experience; we are absolutely delighted! I highly recommend it! And I would gladly come back here again. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

Saya sentiasa mahu melawat Shilla Monogram, dan kerana saya tinggal di sana semasa perjalanan baru-baru ini, saya mempunyai jangkaan yang tinggi. ☺️ Kemudahannya baru dan bagus, sudah tentu, tetapi lobinya agak kecil daripada yang saya jangkakan. Ia adalah hujung minggu, dan kerana ia adalah hotel di kawasan pelancongan, tetamu agak ramai berbanding bilangan bilik, jadi lobi menunggu agak sesak. Walau bagaimanapun, kakitangannya sangat ramah dan profesional, tidak mengapa. Jalan masuk dari tempat letak kereta bawah tanah juga agak mengelirukan. Rasanya seperti pintu keluar kecemasan, dan tiada tanda masuk yang jelas. Hahaha Keadaan dan susun atur bilik adalah baik. Menjadi kediaman, ia luas, yang merupakan kelebihan. Saya memeriksa cawan saya untuk membuat kopi, tetapi ia bernoda teruk, jadi saya membasuhnya. ㅎ Terdapat senarai semak yang ditinggalkan di atas meja daripada tetamu sebelumnya, jadi saya tertanya-tanya jika mereka menyemaknya dengan teliti. Ia bukan isu utama, jadi ia tidak mengapa. ^^ Sekadar perincian kecil. Saya rasa saya mempunyai jangkaan yang lebih tinggi kerana nilai nama ”Shilla”. Sarapan pagi adalah seimbang dan mengenyangkan. Pada sebelah malamnya, zon makanan, di mana semua restoran terletak, telah pun penuh ditempah, yang agak mengecewakan.^^ Saya harap terdapat lebih banyak pilihan dalam kemudahan tanpa perlu keluar. Saya ingin melawat lagi lain kali apabila ruang lebih tersedia.

Great location: 5min walk from gangneung ktx station, eateries nearby, a convenience store right at the corner, walking distance or take bus to the central market. Central area but quiet neighbourhood. Comfy environment: Hotel is very neat and clean, looks very new and smell nice once you step in entrance. Self-check-in. P.S. i only found out after check-out that guests may choose the aroma oil at the lobby n bring it to room :] nice Flow-er experience 🌺😌 Nice amenities: Reserved the spa n movie room while the room is equipped with projector n soundbar, n you get to control different lighting setup with tv remote control, pretty cool! Good time watching some kdrama n hot bath after long journey to spend the night. Love the fact that shower water is strong n hot enough which is very essential for me. One downside is that the light of the ac and wifi router keep flashing at night and may affect if you are a light sleeper… everything else is great. I love how they have usb-a ports n also wireless charging! You can also borrow extra amenities like charging cable n hair straightener at each floor locker cabinet. Luggage Storage Available after check-in/after check-out at each floor or lobby behind the water/coffee/refreshment section. Overall, highly recommend with such price👍🏿

The hotel is remarkably clean and charming, served by taxis and public transportation. I walked everywhere except when coming from and going to the bus and ktx train station. The beach is steps away from the hotel door, and a trail of pine trains invites for pleasant walks to the nearby beaches, where one can find a variety of cafes. restaurants and convenience stores. My room was fully equiped and spotless clean. Reception was friendly and efficient. Definitely recommend.

Bilik itu dalam keadaan baik, dan sarapan pagi yang ringkas dan percuma adalah lazat (songpyeon juga disediakan di Chuseok). The Styler berfungsi dengan baik, jadi saya memanfaatkannya dengan baik selepas makan di luar. Secara keseluruhan, saya berpuas hati dengan penginapan dua malam saya, dan saya berhasrat untuk menempah penginapan lain pada kali berikutnya saya melawat Gangneung.

The location is the best you can find in Gangneung. It’s so incredible that you have a lake on one side and the Sea of Japan on the other. You can walk to the Coffee Street, you can stroll around the lake at night. You can listen to buskers along the beach. Plenty of food choices. What a great place to chill and relax. My only complaint is that the lifts are really slow and fickle-minded. The lift assigned kept changing!

The hotel is located 3 streets away from the ktx station, not more than 10mins walk with heavy luggage. And 20mins walk to the Jungang Market & shopping districts. Plenty of bus stops around the hotel. Convenient store around the corner. The two guy receptions I met during my stay were super friendly and helpful even though they don't speak much English, and I felt very welcomed. The basic room was perfect for solo travellers, may be slightly tight for a couple. Everything was clean and well maintained. There is not only a hairdryer, but also a straightener provided in the room. The shower's water pressure was good, and had an electric bidet. Bed was just right, streets weren't noisy at night, and I had a comfortable sleep throughout my stay. The housekeeping lady was lovely and taught me how to operate the A/C. Probably just the TV was hard to use as it was all in Korean (but should be able to connect with Netflix). There are public PCs and washing-dryer machines with detergent provided at the lobby, and a lounge stocked up with instant noodles, breads etc. Everything mentioned above is free for guests - a big plus! Just right opposite the hotel there is a potato soup restaurant - which is the best food I had in gangneung! I definitely want to be back, and recommend to anyone making a trip to gangneung.

We arrived late at night, so we didn’t have much time to explore the hotel. One thing we appreciated was that the hotel has a gym, as well as a bakery and a convenience store on site. Since room service is quite expensive, being able to grab some ramyeon as a late night snack was a great alternative because who doesn’t love ramyeon? The next morning, we finally had time to look around. The swimming pools were drained, which meant the terrace area was closed. That was a bit disappointing, but since I wasn’t planning to swim anyway, it wasn’t a major issue. The outdoor garden is beautiful, with plenty of photo spots where you can take lovely pictures. The beach is relatively small, but definitely worth visiting. The water is incredibly clear and the scenery is stunning. Getting to the beach was an adventure in itself. You have to walk across a bridge, head all the way down, and pass through a few access checkpoints. However, the journey is worth it, as it allows you to see another side of the hotel and enjoy the surrounding views. Overall, we had a great one day stay and enjoyed our experience. One tip: if you’re checking out and planning to take a taxi, it’s easier to leave from the beach side entrance, where taxis are much more readily available.

It’s a great hotel that provides a lot of services. You don’t need to go outside but there are no toothbrushes in the room which I thought was going to be part of the package

- 위치 : 경포해변쪽은 호텔 많은 2030 시끌시끌 갬성이고 순긋해변쪽은 펜션,시골, 캠핑촌으로 한적한 갬성임. 순긋쪽은 식당이 진짜 거의 없음. 펜션만 그득그득하고 카페는 좀 있음. 그야말로 한적함. 그래서 경포에서 대게먹고 택시타고 이동했음. - 막 나쁘진 않았으나 전체적으로 살짝 부실한 느낌 1. 이불이 없고 그냥 매트리스에 씌워진 엄청 얇은 천밖에 없음 2. 티비를 보면서 누워있을 수 없음(복층에 매트만 있음 티비는 아래) 3. 테라스 작게 있는데 문이 잠기지 않음 4. 스파욕조 좋긴 함. 근데 먼지가 나옴. 뜨거운 물이 좀 부족함. 스파시설인데 가운이 없음. 수건같은게 좀 축축해서 찝찝했음 - 좋았던점 1. 한적하고 오션뷰는 아니지만 바다가 매우 가까운 편임 2. 옥상 바비큐 장소 좋았음 3. 사진 찍기 괜찮음 4. 짐을 많이 챙겨 가면 괜찮은 장소임 사장님이랑은 문자로 필요한거 얘기했음 괜찮았음
