We choose the ondol setting and we loved it. The mattress is quite thin and thinner than other Korean mattresses we slept on. The bathroom is not so clean there was still some hair. The hotel is very quiet and there is a CU grocery store in the hotel. I would consider coming back for being quiet.

Solid stay. Nothing fancy about the rooms. The breakfast was worth it for sure. Location was good, a bit of a walk to get into town but a lovely little nature walk to get to a cliff side cafe that was gorgeous. Would stay again.

Stayed here for 4 nights. The owner was really nice and friendly. Had the best memories riding horse. I didn’t get a chance to say goodbye. Thank you so much 사장님 for the your time and kindness. There’s also a very cute chubby orange cat around😍😍😍😍

오션뷰 사진만보구 예약했는데 방 위치에따라 각도가다르니 도시뷰에 바다 한스푼정도였어요 ~. 위치도 좋구 조용하고 깨끗한점은 좋았어요.. 날짜 클릭을 잘못해서 연락드렸더니 취소 불가상품이리 안되네요 그건 제실순데 오션뷰 사진이 맘에들어 그냥 1박은 날리고 다시예약 또한건데 아쉬웠어요

The hotel is located 20mins away from Mt Hallasan. A good place to stay at after a long day of hiking, where we can soak in the jacuzzi that fits two pax. Kitchenware was provided for those who wishes to cook, and towels were hung outside the door if staying for more than one night.

The dining experience was equally impressive, with a great variety of high-quality options that catered to different tastes. Breakfast, in particular, was a delight and a great way to start each day. EExpatI really liked the property of the venue. I came to the area later in the day because it was raining on the island. Because I was in the midst of a circle around the island, I had already dealt with a rain storm at the folk Village and just needed to eat or clean up. I needed tea and a space to relax. There’s a plaza about five minutes walking from this property, and some of the amenities were closed at Playce when I arrived. I was also told at check-in that it was more like a hostel. The check-in process was fast.  The room space is very small, but the design of the hotel rooms is neat and functional. Unfortunately, there’s no luggage rack, and there are limited hours for the café, laundry, play, and bar restaurant. I had two suitcases, so I used my bed and a MacGyver way to set the carry-on.  I think this place is best suited for remote workers who are minimalists or trekkers/bikers. I still think the concept of Playce is unique. However, I wanted to go see the sunrise on the Ilchulbong hike and there’s no breakfast early in the morning. The coffee shop is not open until later either. The restaurant opens promptly at dinner time. The shop has very nice branded things, but I chose to purchase a couple of basic souvenirs. I felt a sense of hipster basically. Otherwise, the place is great. Price is best.  Although the staff was very friendly and had lots of information, I do not feel that describing the venue as a hostel was appropriate. If I cannot get my tea or coffee when the popular attraction nearby is a 40 minute walk away or a five minute taxi, then I should at least have the option that a hostel does. This means I had to utilize the coffee that I took from the previous hotel in order to make my morning start the best at sunrise.. It was suggested that I go to a restaurant locally across the street by Starbucks at the 4pm check-in since the restaurant was not open until 6 PM. Even if I had my own snacks, the option I had was to use the hot water machine downstairs. Thinking back to a hostel, I did not have the hostel kitchen. The laundry was available if needed though.  What I liked about this Playce despite the fact that it was a rainy day is the feature of the stage in the middle of the property and the fact that they do events locally on a regular basis. I liked the interior decorating and I did like the fact that they had a library/remote workers room. The food at the restaurant was delicious. When I did get to eat breakfast later in the morning after the hike (the hike spot had local shops), it was really good. When the café did eventually open, it was a very nice space. Food service literally saved my opinion late in the morning.  I like the concept of the whole property and feel that it can do better in accommodating the hotel guests, especially when it is a Chinese holiday revolving around an upcoming Korean holiday. Hours of operation are not in sync with travelers, and it is definitely not with hostel amenities. It’s a hotel.  I stayed at this location because of the price and vibe which was quite fine after 6pm. I really enjoyed the hike and the small village near the shore.

One thing that I'm not too happy is they put me in level 2 room, which is next to store room. There's loud noise in early morning and late night, affecting the rest quality.

The room was spacious and clean, and surprisingly quiet at night despite being close to busy streets. The hotel has parking, but it was full a couple of times; it seemed to be occupied by cars not belonging to the hotel. There's a mini-bar on the ground floor, which is very convenient, as well as washers and dryers.

However, the walls are rather thin? I could hear the neighbor snoring at night. they also only provide 2 small towels, no normal / large towel. The aircon also does not work during winter (nov-mar) so i had to open the windows but it’s fine.

LLow HLocation is quite good but need to be careful as there are 3 Shin Shin hotels very closed to each other. Room is clean and spacious but bed is not very comfortable for me. Appreciate that there is washing machine and fridge there. Car park was very small but we could park opposite the hotel, FOC. Overall, a nice stay!

KKai Szetoroom was clean and spacious for 3 adults. if driving, free parking available and self check in/out through a machine at the carpark lobby. Bottles of water provided every day based on number of pax. location is good, with a nearby local market with plenty of food. quite centralised, distance to hallim/ udo/ gapado are averaged 1hr drive away. Downside: there was only small face towels in the room, no normal big size towels. Probably bring your own towels. overall: will come back! good sea views

WWandy goI had a wonderful stay at Ocean Blue Hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and wellequipped, great value for the price. Although the location is a bit far from the city center, it offers a peaceful atmosphere that’s perfect for relaxation. Waking up to the sunrise and ocean view from the balcony was truly the highlight of my stay. A perfect place to unwind and enjoy the calm side of Jeju.
