Hotel berhampiran Ladang Samyang, Pyeongchang-gun

If you’re someone who wants to escape the busy city life and experience real home-cooked Korean food, this is the perfect place for you. Staying here feels like visiting a Korean family home rather than just booking an accommodation. The owner is incredibly kind, polite, and warm. They treated us like their own kids, always making sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. You can truly feel their sincerity. The house is so peaceful and perfect for a family day gathering. There are so many facilities provided, honestly, just name it! Everything you need is already there. The owner also made our trip so much easier in so many ways, and I’m genuinely so thankful for that.To all Malaysians and anyone from other countries — please, please come and stay at this house! I would give it 100/10 without hesitation. 🤍

The place is good, 7 minutes to ski and has a supermarket and eatery place nearby. Honestly the room is nice, with cooking facilities but the owner was not friendly at all. The toilet was stuck and leak they came with only the plunger and ask us settle ourself. Is winter and we came with kids, the kids built a snowman and they destroyed the snowman after we went for ski trip. We are a group of 10 and we wanted to cook our dinner. There is a small hut with table and chair and BBQ facilities, we ask to BBQ facilities (We are willing to pay, 10,000 won as stated) but she said is winter so we can’t use the BBQ pit, ended up we use the stove to cook up the meat. The husband and wife came in to the huts and told us we can’t do BBQ but we explained to her we just cook the meat and we didn’t do any BBQ. We left the place with cleaner than we came in. I have to WhatsApp her and show her the place is cleaned. The warn us that we must left the place by 1am but in fact all of us finished eh 9.30pm every day since we are tired from Ski. During the last day, they came to us and I was thinking they come and say goodbye but they just make sure we throw every single piece of rubbish outside the house. My husband wear shoe and just step to take our luggage and the owner insist us to take out the shoe before we went in to the house. Although we have explained, we just step in and take the luggage and go, he insisted us to take out the shoes. I have been travelling all around the world and we do understand every cultural is different but as the operator of tourist industry, the owner has to be service minded. If you can’t accept any international travellers then please do not list your place in any platform or put up a notice that international tourist is not permitted to stay there and we won’t book accordingly. Is such a shame to see this happened to us after our 5th trip to Korea and our 3rd trip to Pyeongchang for ski.

A nice lake view and good amenities for the hotel. Arrived early but not able to early checking in, so we came back at 230pm. A good place to skiing, there a lot of food and store nearby. Bed was big enough for 2 person and got byredo shampoo and lotion, but not sure can have any sample to bring it back. The only thing that’s been left is the bidet toilet is not inclusive. Overall is good, will stay here again if we are coming back for skiing

We booked the room for early Dec just before the ski open (off peak), some of the room was still doing some upgrading. It was a Queen bed with a bulk bed room and only realised it only 150cm in length. The bathroom include bathtub as well. Booking come w 2 free breakfast/day and the 3rd pax need to pay adult price 44,000 KRW. Not very ideal. Holiday inn should have discounted guest rate for breakfast. The ski open on 4Dec. Hotel no other facilities. Shuttle bus only 2 timing slot to train station.

At the check-in all are ok, but when we arrive at the door step of our room，realised the door was unlocked,l. Went in and found some chips bit and half consumed bottle unclear I'm the room. What frustratefevwas was we head back ABT 11pm after skiing then realised that they only provided us with 1bath towel , tried calling front desk not one pick , calling house keeping also no one pick up. Only got to kn the next day that hotel front desk is closed at 9pm. And not many can speak English this make it even more challenging.

근처에 볼일이 있어서 잠만 자려고 저렴한 호텔을 찾다가 예약해서 방문하게됐어요 첫인상은 워낙 기대를 안해서 그런지 로비부터 넓고 깨끗해서 괜찮다 생각했는데 침대 베개에 머리카락이 있더라고요 ㅎㅎ 뭐 이정도하고 넘어갔는데 조식때 샐러드를 먹다가 우득 소리가 나기에 빼보니 돌같은게 있어서 좀 황당했어요 그래도 직원분이 빠르게 주방에 확인해서 건조된 크랜베리라고 하셔서 맛있게 잘먹고 올라와서 씻고 나가려는데 뜬금없이 벨소리가 울리길래 네?? 했더니 대답도 없고 옷도 벗고있는상태라 무시했더니 갑자기 문을 열고 들어오려하시는 키퍼분하고 눈이 마주쳤네요 ㅋ..... 근데 키퍼분왈이 더 황당한게 대답없길래 열었다고ㅜㅜ 그냥 죄송합니다 한마디면 될껄 저희탓을 하시더라고요 ㅋㅋ 나름 꽤 여행 많이 다녀봤지만 퇴실 시간이 가까워지면 프론트에서 전화오는경우는 있어서 키퍼분이 문열고 들어오는 경우는 첨 당해봐서 정말 많이 황당하고 기분이 좋지않더라고요 그리고 옷입고 나와서 옆방청소하시는 키퍼분하고 눈이 마주쳐서 남편이 그렇게 문열면 어쩌냐니깐 또 변명.. 그래서 뭐라하니깐 그때야 사과하시더라고요 괜히 일키우면 뭐하나 싶어 남편보고 가자고하고 프론트로 내려왔고 프론트에 주의좀 해달라고 얘기하고 돌아왔어요 첨에 베개 머리카락외에는 꽤 괜찮다 생각하면서 후기에 올릴사진 찍어야지 했는데 아침부터 이상한일이 자꾸 겪으니 사진한장을 못남겼네요 다른건 다 이해할수있는데 마지막 키퍼분은 퇴실시간도 안됐고 퇴실신청도 안한 객실을 어떤이유로도 문열고 들어오신건 꼭 개선하시길 바래요

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a pleasant experience overall. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with all the basic amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were polite, helpful, and attentive whenever I had questions or requests, which made the experience even better. The location was convenient, with easy access to nearby shops, restaurants, and transportation. The hotel environment felt safe, and the common areas were tidy and welcoming. While there were a few areas that could be improved—such as faster check-in during busy periods or more variety in the breakfast options—the stay was still enjoyable. Overall, it’s a good choice for both short and long stays, offering comfort, convenience, and reasonable value.

Nice place to stay. Very close to Mona Yongpyong Ski Resort. Nice view. Ample parking space. Spacious Room. Ondol room can fit 6 people. Kitchenette provided for cooking. There was an issue with our toilet where the toilet bowl is clogged. When we contact the front desk, they promptly send a staff to fix the toilet. Everything is perfect and we enjoy our stay at Tower Condominium.

Living in the Blue Tower Sky Suite was a great experience! We enjoyed a 4-day, 3-night stay with no delays during check-out. The suite is within a 5-minute walk to the ski house and about a 10-minute walk to the central plaza, where we could shop at the convenience store (open until midnight) and visit the game store to play with the kids. Our kids really loved both the day and night activities. However, driving in the snow required extra caution since the rental car had four-season tires but no chains. Overall, it was a wonderful and memorable trip!

강원도 여행중 1박을 하게되어 급하게 예약해서 저녁늦게 입실해서 자세히 들러보지는 못했어요. 밤길에 진입로가 어두워서 약간 헤맷어요. 카운터 직원분 친절히 응대해 주셨어요. 방은 깨끗하고 따뜻해서 잘 자고 나왔어요. 숙소에 편의점이 없어서 차로 5~10분 거리에 있는 편의점에서 미리 사가야 해요.
