Hotel berhampiran Yangon downtown, Kyauktada

This is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed. It’s formerly known as Rosewood Yangon and now reopened for 8 months. Everything is excellent, very friendly, patient and helpful staff, extraordinary service. The hotel’s history dates back to 1927 so it’s absolutely a historical building. The decoration is very exquisite, breakfast is tasty and there are many choices. The location is also good and safe, very near to Sule Plaza, General Post Office and British Embassy. On terrace you can see the river view. I want to especially express my gratitude to Vanessa and Swar, they provided me with a lot of detailed information so I can know more about this hotel, this city and this country. Please make sure they can receive this feedback and my appreciation! Meanwhile, the front desk Moo Thaw, Luca showed me the hospitality. Next time I come to Yangon, I would consider choosing this hotel again, and also I will recommend it to my friends. Hope you can keep this level 😃

A beautifully preserved colonial-style hotel right in the heart of the city. From the moment you step inside, you feel as though you’ve travelled back in time. Останавливался в отеле 4 дня. Из плюсов: у каждой комнаты есть собственный туалет, удобное расположение и дружелюбный персонал. Цена — около 900 руб. за сутки с завтраком, что очень выгодно. Завтрак приносят (выбора нет): обычно рис с горошком и яйцом, также есть бананы, сок и можно попросить чай или кофе. Из минусов: не было горячей воды — только прохладная. Комната очень маленькая, больше подходит, чтобы просто переночевать. С кондиционером в таком пространстве может быть некомфортно. Итог: хороший бюджетный вариант на 1–2 дня, но для более длительного проживания может быть неудобно.

The hotel is clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast spread is decent and since the breakfast hall is on the top floor, the view is nice. Location is good with convenience shop and a small mall within reasonable walking distance. Highly recommended for those looking for a place with value for money.

建物は古いけどスタッフはとても親切で良かったです

青旅在老城區，離中央火車站不遠，一樓大廳，住宿在二樓和三樓，床單一客一換，房間有桌子，衹是窗户缺乏維護，關不上。前台有一位會點中文的男孩很好。工作人員衹會當地語，交流不暢，退房時前台還要我付最後一天房費，我已付，他説沒收到，幸虧會點中文的男孩出來證實我已付清房款。

Pretty varied impressions of the hotel. The hotel is located in the city center, no big problems to get anywhere. Most of the staff is friendly, but the problem is that only one of the staff speaks good English. Also the owner of the place speaks English. It happens that under one type of room with one name there can be 2 types of rooms: you can easily be given a room without windows, or you can be given a smoky room. I do not recommend to take breakfast, as it is rather poor for this price and the choice of dishes is not great. Do not think of giving your clothes to the laundry. A few things were in disrepair afterwards. Overall, a normal hotel with a good location and friendly staff, if you are willing to sometimes long to explain your needs or fight for the paid level.
