Had a single night stay at this place before heading back home from SFO. It was exceptionally clean and modern. The check in and check out processes are all automatic. They also provide towel and shower gel, making it one of the few hostels in the West that is up to the standard of those in Asia. Will definitely stay again when I'm traveling to SF!

Overall it’s good, I have a room that near to the street at first night , the veiled is great but I hardly fall asleep. But after calling the front desk, they were so efficient and friendly to help me to changed to a room that is much more quiet than the first one.
The room cleaning ladies were super friendly and always have a big smile on their faces, 10/10 for the ladies.

Union was the right price in the very right location, and wonderful people running the place as well. Toilet & washroom were in the hallway, but that was OK with me, as I've traveled extensively outside the West, and done that regularly. BART access is nearly doorstep, which was a top priority - loved it! Location is right at the ”Burrito Triangle”, with lots of other food available, too, so dining is easy. Their complimentary coffee is strong & fresh, but since DIY was permitted, I brought my civet coffee & fill-yourself K-cups. Good place to stay!

Oh my, what to say
Staff are reasonably nice enough. The hotel is a bit, might I say, grungy/dingy. From the wooden pole jammed in the window to keep it shut, the circular blotches of paint above the shower, the toast, coffee, cereal, to the stifling hot temperature without AC. AC is usually not a big deal in San Francisco except for when you need it which might be 20-40 times a year but some people insist on it. Don’t go. I have no idea why people give it good reviews so sorry.

Hotel location is great. Right at the heart of center downtown. Powell station is 2min walk away.
Huge hotel with sufficient security and spacious rooms.
Manager Alex is the best person I’ve ever met in America. Super friendly and super helpful. I could not have asked for a better place to stay because of him.
Facilities are also nice. The gym is open 24/7 and is big. Beds and couches are super comfy. Would definitely recommend this place to others.

Das Hotel hat eine angenehme Lage mit einigen Restaurants und Bars in der Nähe.
Nicht so viele Obdachlose wie man denkt man sollte nur nicht den Berg nach unten gehen da wird es doch recht schlimm.
Der Aufzug ist nichts für Leute die Angst haben.
Rezeption war sehr nett
Das Zimmer war für eine einzelne Person ausreichend und man kann ein Fenster öffnen.
Bringt euch Duschgel mit es ist nur Shampoo und conditioner vorhanden und ein Stück Seife :)
Alles in allem würde ich dieses Hotel wieder buchen wenn ich in SF bin

A relatively clean place. The bathrooms were clean too, even if they were shared across all people on the floor. The hotel is close to many bars and restaurants. And getting to Mission District is only a few stops on the 22 bus.

ฉันเข้าพักโรงแรมพิโอน่า เป็นเวลา 9 คืน ฉันไปกับพี่สาวของฉัน เป็นโรงแรมที่อยู่ใจกลางเมือง ใกล้กับสถานที่ท่องเที่ยว ตอนแรกเราคิดว่าจะใช้เวลาเดินเที่ยวกัน แต่คนไร้บ้านเยอะมาก ฉันกับพี่สาวไม่กล้าเดินกัน จะไปไหนก็ต้องเรียกอูเบอร์ ตอนกลางคืนฉันไม่แนะนำให้ออกไปเดินเล่น เพราะมันน่ากลัว ส่วนพนักงานต้องรับให้การช่วยเหลือดีมาก ฉันประทับใจและคิดว่า ถ้าฉันมีโอกาสกลับมม ฉันจะกลับมาพักที่พิโอน่าอีก และจะแนะนำให้เพื่อนของฉันด้วย อาหารเช้าจะมีขนมและผลไม้น่ารักมาก

Exactly downtown San Francisco, close to Powell BART train station, 2 minutes walk from subway station and cable car terminal, it’s very convenient.
Hotel staff excellent service, room is clean. The only one minor thing is a bit noise when the bus pass by.

The location of the hotel is very good. The rooms are a little small but very clean. Service is very friendly and helpful. Check in was very quick and professional. The parking is in a public parking building (100m distance) and can be organised over the hotel

PPengguna TetamuI stayed in CitizenM with my wife and one of my friend from May 15-22 for a conference at Moscone Center. The location is quite strategic; not only is it walkable to the Moscone Center from here, but also it is walkable to several places you should go to in San Francisco, such as Union Square, starting point for the renowned cable car, SF MOMA, and Yerba Buena Garden. There are also several public transportation accessible nearby, such as BART, Metro, Muni buses, streetcars, and cable cars, so it is very strategic for sightseeing around San Francisco.
The facilities offered by the hotel are quite complete for my needs. The room is neat, albeit not so vast, and quite high tech, since there is an Ipad in the room that acts as the command control to the room, so you can control the TV, the curtain, the lamp, even when you want your room to be cleaned from that Ipad. There is also a gym that is open 24 hours with several devices and a water station. Its co-working space is also neatly designed and very comfy.
There is a restaurant in the hotel, dubbed canteenM. It provides breakfast, and there are also several foods and beverages that can be ordered. Other than that, the hotel staff are very helpful. They told us that we can ask for water in the canteen and they will provide it. Sometimes we also asked them for help with providing hot water for us making instant noodles, and they helped us. They also showed us a microwave that can be used.
If there is one thing that can be improved; since we stayed for quite a long time, we noticed that the breakfast options, although still quite various, are quite similar from day to day; scrambled egg, chicken sausage (oh it's so delicious it is to die for!), bagel, toast, pastries, salad station, cheese, and smoked salmon. There is also bacon, ham, and salami in the option (obviously I cannot eat it). Oh, there are some beverages also, like coffee, tea, and juice. You can order some of the coffee (try ice mocha with half and half and additional chocolate, if I may recommend). One thing that may be different is one day they served roasted tomatoes, another day they served roasted potatoes. There is also some variety in the pastries, but that's it. If I may suggest, maybe you can add one or two options of foods that reflect the diversity of San Francisco, like maybe some Latino foods on one day, Chinese food on another, or Italian, Filipino, Vietnamese, or others. This kind of additional variety may spice up our breakfast options, especially for someone staying for quite a long time like us. Overall, a very nice experience at CitizenM San Francisco. Keep up the good job!

We arrived at the lobby and there is one front desk present ( Dally) who is assisting two or three more guest then I saw this online checkin kiosk I opt to used it for convenience so I input my info and the machine confirmed my reservation and requesting me to pay the resorts fee and security deposit which is not yet paid so I inserted my card then this Guy from the front desk loudly said don’t used that it will double charge you. So I quickly removed my card but the transaction have been processed so I have no choice but to finish my transaction and get our key cards then he keep saying I can’t help you now Cant help you now with a RUDE tone and he also went in-front of me telling You DID that too yourself And Can’t help you now …. I’m about to get mad because of his rude attitude towards me. then Bryan arrived he was very hospitable help us out and explained the charge to us and Confirm that there is NO DOUBLE Charge he also mention the name of his rude colleague who is dallie or dally
Please take AXIOM because this employee doesn’t know what he saying with his rude attitude toward me … As a hospitality graduate he should treat the guest with empathy and offer his services because its his job. And he can explain it properly and say sorry is out of my scope and ask help from my manager
Also when we check out on oct 13 around 7am theres a front desk who has no energy. We greeted him and I asked for checkout He just pointed the drop off keys and has this DO NOT DISTURB ME attitude while we are waiting at the lobby with my partner he loudly said Hey are you guest here ??!! With a condescending tone, he taught my partner was an outsider… We just greeted him 5minutes ago that how snobbish he is he didn’t even remember my partner…
Regardless the two women front desk TAYLOR and TATIANA are kind and warm unlike the two FO .

PPengguna TetamuVery expensive for a B&B. Nice spot in the Castro/ Mission district near Dolores Park. Well-maintained & reasonable management. Lots of stairs to go up into main house lobby — wrought iron gates with intercom to buzz to get entry into property. Try to get a room in the older main house to minimize stairs! No AC. They have limited parking spots behind the two B&B houses (access from Dorland St) for US$35./day plus tax which is a steep price. Make sure u book a parking spot in advance. Beautiful garden courtyard in the back. Sadly we never got to use it. Try to get a room that faces the other “house” or the backyard - quieter. We had a front room Deluxe King Room 36 which looked nothing like the sample room photos (only one Room 24 w courtyard view, sofa, coffee table). We got a smaller room approx 290sf vs what we paid for 32sq.m, 344sf, no closet just small armoire to hang a couple of things, no sofa, no coffee table, no balcony. They were kind enough to give us a refund for the price difference between the Deluxe King we booked & the Standard King we got. Had to ask for them to vacuum room. Found tissue under headboard/bed, dusty. Not the kind of room you would want to spend much time in —teeny tiny TV, faced front noisy street with electric bus passing by. No screens in windows so had to close windows at night to keep critters out. Bed was ok. Pillows were synthetic & lumpy. View was of electric lines & school across the street. Beware some electric outlets. One was burnt out. Breakfast was repetitive but nice to eat in a lovely breakfast room or outdoor deck. Hard-boiled eggs, muesli, fruit, muffins/ carbs, American coffee, juices. Fortunately SPRO café was next door if you need a great cappuccino or chai latté! Even though a continental breakfast is served, it hass an upgraded food selections including hot dishes, i.e. scrambled eggs, sausages, etc. I’ll revisit here next in town.

EErbasOur stay at Nob Hill Hotel was unexpectedly great.
Although it’s a little far from Union Square, the walk was very tolerable. What really stood out was the free unlimited water and coffee available 24/7, which was a huge plus. The hotel also has a very unique lift and a charming, distinctive style that added character to our stay. Overall, a pleasant surprise and a comfortable experience.
We would also like to commend the helpfulness of Emmanuel, who assisted us during our stay. He is very kind and accommodating, and his warm service truly made our experience even better. We will definitely come back and even cancelled our other hotel booking so we can return again after our visit here in Hollywood.

HHan ByoelThe Junior King Suite was a little smaller than expected, but was clean and cozy. Parking with Valet only, at $65. Getting our car was fast and easy. Children had fun with smores. Free 1-hour bike rental available. Boardgames are also available to rent.
One minor thing - there was a used and stained plastic fork inside the microwave that was sent to our room upon request.
Would come back to stay again.

EERIDI had booked a single deluxe room; it was very spacious and I loved how there was hanging space and plenty of drawers. I was there for a week and so it was nice to be able to properly unpack and have my things organised. The room would be comfortable even for two people. The room did not have air conditioning but had a ceiling fan which I actually prefer to aircon; it was July yet the room never became too hot. The window was able to open and there was a screen mesh to prevent bugs entering. I asked for and got a kettle for the room to heat my own water. Stable free Wifi.
There was a shared bathroom thus is was appreciated that was a sink in the bedroom (had toiletries, flannels and towels provided). The shared toilet and shower facilities were always clean and even though I was there a week there was never a time that I had to wait/they were occupied when I wanted to use them. The shower room had a curtain separating the wet and dry areas and there was plenty of hooks to hand items. Everywhere was always clean. It was very quiet except for sometimes being some noise from outside.
There is a small basic kitchen area if you want to prepare some simple dishes ( I never used it), and a laundry where a wash and dry is very reasonably priced.
The hotel is in a very good location and I found it ideal for exploring San Francisco. Powell street BRT is a direct line to the train station, there is a streetcar (F) which goes directly to the piers, and a bus (7) which goes along Fell Street to Golden Gate park and if you went to the end of the line it goes to the other end of Golden Gate Park/coast/beach. I walked to other areas. It is ideal if you plan to go to any concerts, and the International Art Museum of America (free entry) is only a couple of mins walk. There are many eating places in the surrounding streets including a food court with reasonably priced food – included an Ikea restaurant where hotdogs are one dollar.
The hotel felt safe and secure. The front door is always locked and there is a key card to enter the hotel and the rooms. I appreciated that not once did the key card become desensitised. The hotel is in the Mission District and thus the area does have some homeless people around; you would not notice much during the day, though many more during the evening. I am a female travelling solo and I never had any problems with any people in the area and never felt unsafe. Evening during the evening the streets are so busy that you don’t feel vulnerable as there are so many people around. I could see from my bedroom window that through the night large crowds would congregate at the corner opposite the hotel, sometimes could be noisy, and they made lots of rubbish, however, everything was cleaned up and by the next morning there was no trace of it…that is a sign that the area is taken care of.
Staff always friendly and helpful. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would have no hesitation in staying again. There was no false advertising , and the facilities were what I expected based on the description, in fact, when considering the reviews, the hotel was better than I was expecting. If people want comfortable, clean basic accommodation you can’t go wrong with this.
