really clean, efficient, nice staff, love the 24/7 front desk. they also were super helpful tagging and holding my luggage for me. I was able to check in and out with ease, and used their fitness room too. small but enough equipment to workout! pretty close to the water which is nice, and love the chilled water and guest request closet

Single female staying alone. Very nice entrance and service. Room lovely and simple. No coffee in room or hotel but coffee shops on the street easy to find close by. Neighborhood a little much for me after dark and was glad I had a companion with me. Reasonable price balanced out all small differences from big chain hotels. Loved the ambiance and simple Chinese decorations!

We stayed in a deluxe city view room at Hilton Financial District—beautiful views and a warm welcome! The TV greeted us with a personalized “Welcome Cristopher,” which was a thoughtful touch. Staff were friendly and let us check in early. Great location near Chinatown, with amazing food—thanks to Denmark for recommending House of Nanking! Room was clean and well-priced.

Marker hotel was very nice. We enjoyed the clean room and spacious bathroom. The desk in the room was very useful and the window could be open a little! There was no microwave in the room, but the front desk was very nice to help. They helped me heating up things patiently. Dhali and Charles were specially nice and helpful. Everyone of the front desk was pleasant. One short coming was that they didn't allow people to look at a room before reserving. Had I known the room was so good, I would have left Hotel Fusion to stay in Marker.

Overall stay was great! Located in fisherman wharf. Short walk to the cable car station, rail stops, In n out burger, and all the attractions in fisherman wharf. There is a trader joe located a couple of blocks away as well. Short walk to the bus stop that takes you into chinatown and onwards.
Unfortunately there's a amenities fee that must be paid, but that gives you complimentary coffee, breakfast and water. There should be an option for people to opt out. Nonetheless, the offerings were decent.
There was a bug in the room upon check in and it bothered us a lot until we managed to kill it.

酒店位置很好，臨街晚上有些吵，傍邊房間有小青年過生日，一幫人唱歌又吵了一晚上，非接觸入住也不是很方面，去的時候前台下班了，把我手機號登記錯了，入住又等了一個多小時，還發現房間裏有蟑螂。平台的客服很負責，一直在幫忙聯繫，出國用國內的平台訂酒店和機票，在出問題時還是很有幫助的

PPengguna TetamuI stayed in CitizenM with my wife and one of my friend from May 15-22 for a conference at Moscone Center. The location is quite strategic; not only is it walkable to the Moscone Center from here, but also it is walkable to several places you should go to in San Francisco, such as Union Square, starting point for the renowned cable car, SF MOMA, and Yerba Buena Garden. There are also several public transportation accessible nearby, such as BART, Metro, Muni buses, streetcars, and cable cars, so it is very strategic for sightseeing around San Francisco.
The facilities offered by the hotel are quite complete for my needs. The room is neat, albeit not so vast, and quite high tech, since there is an Ipad in the room that acts as the command control to the room, so you can control the TV, the curtain, the lamp, even when you want your room to be cleaned from that Ipad. There is also a gym that is open 24 hours with several devices and a water station. Its co-working space is also neatly designed and very comfy.
There is a restaurant in the hotel, dubbed canteenM. It provides breakfast, and there are also several foods and beverages that can be ordered. Other than that, the hotel staff are very helpful. They told us that we can ask for water in the canteen and they will provide it. Sometimes we also asked them for help with providing hot water for us making instant noodles, and they helped us. They also showed us a microwave that can be used.
If there is one thing that can be improved; since we stayed for quite a long time, we noticed that the breakfast options, although still quite various, are quite similar from day to day; scrambled egg, chicken sausage (oh it's so delicious it is to die for!), bagel, toast, pastries, salad station, cheese, and smoked salmon. There is also bacon, ham, and salami in the option (obviously I cannot eat it). Oh, there are some beverages also, like coffee, tea, and juice. You can order some of the coffee (try ice mocha with half and half and additional chocolate, if I may recommend). One thing that may be different is one day they served roasted tomatoes, another day they served roasted potatoes. There is also some variety in the pastries, but that's it. If I may suggest, maybe you can add one or two options of foods that reflect the diversity of San Francisco, like maybe some Latino foods on one day, Chinese food on another, or Italian, Filipino, Vietnamese, or others. This kind of additional variety may spice up our breakfast options, especially for someone staying for quite a long time like us. Overall, a very nice experience at CitizenM San Francisco. Keep up the good job!

The complimentary morning tea and coffee and afternoon wine tasting section in the lobby was a nice touch. However, one downside was the lack of good budget-friendly breakfast options nearby.

PPengguna TetamuVery expensive for a B&B. Nice spot in the Castro/ Mission district near Dolores Park. Well-maintained & reasonable management. Lots of stairs to go up into main house lobby — wrought iron gates with intercom to buzz to get entry into property. Try to get a room in the older main house to minimize stairs! No AC. They have limited parking spots behind the two B&B houses (access from Dorland St) for US$35./day plus tax which is a steep price. Make sure u book a parking spot in advance. Beautiful garden courtyard in the back. Sadly we never got to use it. Try to get a room that faces the other “house” or the backyard - quieter. We had a front room Deluxe King Room 36 which looked nothing like the sample room photos (only one Room 24 w courtyard view, sofa, coffee table). We got a smaller room approx 290sf vs what we paid for 32sq.m, 344sf, no closet just small armoire to hang a couple of things, no sofa, no coffee table, no balcony. They were kind enough to give us a refund for the price difference between the Deluxe King we booked & the Standard King we got. Had to ask for them to vacuum room. Found tissue under headboard/bed, dusty. Not the kind of room you would want to spend much time in —teeny tiny TV, faced front noisy street with electric bus passing by. No screens in windows so had to close windows at night to keep critters out. Bed was ok. Pillows were synthetic & lumpy. View was of electric lines & school across the street. Beware some electric outlets. One was burnt out. Breakfast was repetitive but nice to eat in a lovely breakfast room or outdoor deck. Hard-boiled eggs, muesli, fruit, muffins/ carbs, American coffee, juices. Fortunately SPRO café was next door if you need a great cappuccino or chai latté! PPearly9000Everything was wonderful and perfect until check-out. They asked to swipe my Visa card for a $200 deposit on the first day of check-in, which was completely fine.
However, on the day of check-out, they told me the service fees for 3 nights came to $123.60. They said they would deduct it from my deposit and refund the remaining balance within a few days. I thought that was fine too.
But no — they then charged another $200 to my Visa card without even touching my card again and without my permission. In total, they have charged $400 from my card. I honestly feel like crying because I don’t know what to do.
If they don’t refund my money in the next few days, will Trip help resolve this for me? I have never experienced a situation like this before.
This hotel was excellent in every way, but charging a guest’s card without authorization is truly disappointing and unfortunate. Can someone please tell me how I can get my money back?

HHan ByoelThe Junior King Suite was a little smaller than expected, but was clean and cozy. Parking with Valet only, at $65. Getting our car was fast and easy. Children had fun with smores. Free 1-hour bike rental available. Boardgames are also available to rent.
One minor thing - there was a used and stained plastic fork inside the microwave that was sent to our room upon request.
Would come back to stay again.

SShikun NieThe room is clean and has everything you need. The hotel also provides a minibreakfast. This hotel is just a short walk away from Civic center, touristy areas. However, the streets nearby have a lot of homeless people. Also take note it is always noisy before midnight since it is just roadside. However, after midnight, it is quiet enough to catch a good sleep. If you are a light sleeper, do take this into consideration. Overral I think it is good for the money as a solo traveler. By the way, there is a cheap Vietnamese sandwige store at the corner of Larkin and Eddy streets. $5.5 for one, extremely affordable and fulfilling.

PPengguna TetamuAll of the staff seemed really nice. From the moment we arrived and had a friendly greeting from the valet parking worker, to the ladies that we interacted with in reception.
The room was nothing special, but by that I mean it had no outstanding features, or any distinguishable traits that would separate it from other hotels
The concierge was friendly and helpful, and was very useful in helping us to plan our activities.
And the hotel is in a good location to get to the pier or do the 'big bus' tour.
But here's the downside. The gym is small, had no steriliser, or wipes, even though one of the rules stated in the gym is to wipe down the equipment after use.
And the overall impression of the gym is that it could do with a really good clean from top to bottom.
Added to that there's the washing machine and tumble dryer located in the gym.
Yes that's right, in the actual gym.
Now we were very happy when we read about the hotel having washing machine facilities, but we were slightly surprised at it's location.
Another thing was the air con. We stayed in September and although the weather for the season was just starting to cool down after the summer, it was still fairly warm.
The air con looked as if it had been fitted in the seventies and made a sound as if it had been running non stop ever since then.
It was so noisy that we had to turn it off completely at night time and at different times during the day.
On a final point we received news regarding the death of my partner's daughter, which meant that we had to cut our whole vacation short including this leg of the trip.
We informed the front desk that we would be checking out one day early.
We were not expecting a refund, for that day, but after being told by the member of staff that the 30 dollar a night 'destination fee' would be waived for the night that we were not going to be there, we later found out that this fee had still been added to the final bill.
We still have no idea what a 'destination fee' is, but to be charged it when we weren't even at the hotel was extra galling.
And what was also strange was the fact they didn't even ask why it was that we had decided to cut our stay short?
Would you not be interested to know whether something was wrong with your customers stay, and to know why they had cut their visit short??
A bit of a poor end to a otherwise 'ok' stay at the hotel.

EERIDI had booked a single deluxe room; it was very spacious and I loved how there was hanging space and plenty of drawers. I was there for a week and so it was nice to be able to properly unpack and have my things organised. The room would be comfortable even for two people. The room did not have air conditioning but had a ceiling fan which I actually prefer to aircon; it was July yet the room never became too hot. The window was able to open and there was a screen mesh to prevent bugs entering. I asked for and got a kettle for the room to heat my own water. Stable free Wifi.
There was a shared bathroom thus is was appreciated that was a sink in the bedroom (had toiletries, flannels and towels provided). The shared toilet and shower facilities were always clean and even though I was there a week there was never a time that I had to wait/they were occupied when I wanted to use them. The shower room had a curtain separating the wet and dry areas and there was plenty of hooks to hand items. Everywhere was always clean. It was very quiet except for sometimes being some noise from outside.
There is a small basic kitchen area if you want to prepare some simple dishes ( I never used it), and a laundry where a wash and dry is very reasonably priced.
The hotel is in a very good location and I found it ideal for exploring San Francisco. Powell street BRT is a direct line to the train station, there is a streetcar (F) which goes directly to the piers, and a bus (7) which goes along Fell Street to Golden Gate park and if you went to the end of the line it goes to the other end of Golden Gate Park/coast/beach. I walked to other areas. It is ideal if you plan to go to any concerts, and the International Art Museum of America (free entry) is only a couple of mins walk. There are many eating places in the surrounding streets including a food court with reasonably priced food – included an Ikea restaurant where hotdogs are one dollar.
The hotel felt safe and secure. The front door is always locked and there is a key card to enter the hotel and the rooms. I appreciated that not once did the key card become desensitised. The hotel is in the Mission District and thus the area does have some homeless people around; you would not notice much during the day, though many more during the evening. I am a female travelling solo and I never had any problems with any people in the area and never felt unsafe. Evening during the evening the streets are so busy that you don’t feel vulnerable as there are so many people around. I could see from my bedroom window that through the night large crowds would congregate at the corner opposite the hotel, sometimes could be noisy, and they made lots of rubbish, however, everything was cleaned up and by the next morning there was no trace of it…that is a sign that the area is taken care of.
Staff always friendly and helpful. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would have no hesitation in staying again. There was no false advertising , and the facilities were what I expected based on the description, in fact, when considering the reviews, the hotel was better than I was expecting. If people want comfortable, clean basic accommodation you can’t go wrong with this.
