PPengguna Tanpa NamaI had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff was friendly, professional, and willing to help. My room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, which made my stay very relaxing. The hotel location was convenient for everything I needed. Overall, it was a good experience, and I would definitely recommend it to solo travelers.

PPengguna TetamuOriginally a mansion for a mining baron, the building fell into disrepair until an architect purchased and restored it. The mansion is absolutely beautiful and full of history and antiques. I shared the “Enchanting Turret” room with my older sister. The beds were far enough away that we were afforded ample privacy. The owner, Sheila, lives on the grounds and was a gracious host, offering both hospitality and valued advice about the area. On top of everything, it’s in a great area close to both restaurants and the airport. I give this establishment my highest recommendation.

Mereka sangat sopan dan sopan. Saya tahu ke mana hendak pergi apabila saya mahu melakukan perkara dengan keluarga saya di luar rumah walaupun saya tinggal di Birmingham.

PPengguna TetamuVery close to our venue. The hotel room was clean and spacious . Fresh new towels, refrigerator, cook top, dishwasher, sink, king size sofa bed as a comfy king bed. Hot water and cold Ac to boot. Breakfast was decent as eggs, waffles, grits and oatmeal on our 2 days. Fresh fruit and juices offered along with piping hot coffee. The market for after hours snacks and what nots is sparce. They need help in this area. Staff was polite and friendly.

EEdenThis place was great...they moved us to a new room bigger room because ours wasn't ready at no extra cost and we were actually checking in early and didn't charge for that either...lovely staff clean rooms and awesome breakfast...at check in they even give complimentary warm chocolate chip cookies and the were amazing...nice touch💜

PPengguna TetamuThe hotel was clean and in a great location for the reason I was in Birmingham. It was near to the event that I was attending. The sink in my room had a stopper that prevented the water from escaping when I did not want it to collect in the sink during activities such as brushing my teeth and washing my face. The water was also cold and took an excessively long time to heat up even a little bit. It was not even lukewarm. Therefore, I checked out and was unable to shower. My son actually took a cold shower on a cold day, one of the coldest that we have had in Alabama in a while. I was also awakened by an emergency message and alarm to vacate the building due to an emergency only to learn later that it was a test. I learned this when the fire truck arrived and I heard an employee apologizing for not calling them to let them know that it was only a test. I only stayed overnight so there was no other opportunity for me to get a better impression. The only reason that I did not give a lower rating for the facilities is because once I reported the issue with the shower and sink, they sent a handy man to the room to make the repairs, but my son was already taking a cold shower at the time since we were scheduled to get back home to meet previously scheduled obligations. The staff person who was checking me out said that she couldn't do anything for me because I booked through a third party. However, she did state that she would refund the money that I paid for parking.

PPengguna TetamuRoom was nice. Nothing special. Did not see any vending machines with pop and went to front desk where they had a small shelf with few items. Had bottled water but no pop also noticed they had other items to sell but was also out. We just needed a place to stay on our way further south and it worked fine for us. Was a little difficult to find the hotel but that could have been the map on the phones. Desk person was nice. Heard her speaking to a few people while we were checking in and seemed pleasant to them all

PPengguna TetamuThe hallway smell was over the top. Whatever they use to mask the smell was just awful. Also, when I came back from dinner one night, there was a puddle of water from the a/c. Water was under bed and to the other side of room. Management came and cleaned it up and took care of a/c issue. It was late and didn’t want to deal with that. Wont be going back.
