"A very bad experience. The staff were arrogant and visibly annoyed by the presence of guests (rolling their eyes, a complete lack of courtesy). They had absolutely no sense of service. After a simple request, and after a disagreement about a simple request, they didn't even have the courtesy to apologize. The breakfast was insignificant and did not live up to the hotel's advertised standard. A small, stale croissant, an omelet station, four jams, and that was it. I was supposed to receive a 15% discount on my restaurant bill since I booked with a "few days in paradise" upgrade, but even then, the staff failed to do their job properly. This establishment clearly lacks professionalism and attention to its guests."

"Good location. The reception staff were friendly, but the people working at the beach restaurant were incredibly slow, inattentive, and careless: you had to ask them to serve you or prepare your food because they never had anything ready. Breakfast was included (see photo), but it was very basic and lacked variety. Restaurant prices were expensive, as were the massages (€60/hour). The Wi-Fi didn't reach our room, and the shower drain was clogged. They supposedly fixed it, but it was still clogged. There was also no hot water in the bathroom, so we had to shower with cold water every day. The mosquito nets were torn, so mosquitoes still got in. The hotel is nice, and the rooms are spacious, but so many things went wrong that I left with a bittersweet feeling."

"We had an excellent stay here. The included breakfast is extraordinarily bountiful and tasty. Our room was not large, but it was clean and comfortable. The manager was not just friendly; she also helped us arrange an excursion to Los Haitesis Park and a massage, both on short notice. We could walk in about 10 minutes to good restaurants in central Las Terrenas. We had no complaints."

"We spent 10 nights in the apartment , (selfcatering), was very big 60 m2, quiet place , with cleaning every 2 days. We were on the second floor with the lift. Hotel has 2 pools, not a lot of people there. You can rent a car or scooter, because it is about 20 min to the center on foot. Every apartment has 1 parking place. Hotel has security. The staff was helpful. They require 200 $ deposit."

"Lovely privately run small boutique hotel in beautiful, well kept grounds. 10 minute easy walk to the beach and local restaurants/bars in Las Terrenas. Very quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Small pool with sun beds to soak up the sun. Only five villas, so quite private. We stayed in the only detached one which was fairly large, very clean with large bed and shower, including toiletries. Complimentary water, Sprite, and fruit juice in minibar, plus biscuits and plantain crisps. Nice veranda with chairs for relaxing with a drink. Only downside was that we didn’t have a coffee machine which the others did. However, the breakfast pergola also acts as a bar from 8.00-19.00 hours, so can get a coffee there. Could do with longer bar hours, but to be honest, most of the other visitors were out all day. Breakfast was lovely, fresh fruit, toast and yoghurt with granola or a choice of omelette, all served by the couple who own it. Very friendly people, the husband speaks English but I don’t think his wife did. Would definitely recommend this small, quiet hotel. Ideal for couples as there is a no children or pets rule. Not for people looking for somewhere with a lot going on, and the pool is only big enough for short lengths. Accessed by a private gate that is monitored , so very secure. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again if we went back to Las Terrenas. Good value for money."
