"Then pool was okay but the birds kept on flying in and drinking from it so I got out of there to avoid avian flu which would have destroyed my vacation. They need to really keep the birds out of the pool. They also don’t have a clothing steamer or irons so you might need to wear your wrinkly clothes or pay them and they return it back ironed the next day. The toilets had low water pressure so sometimes to took like 3-5 flushes to get rid of all the toilet paper and poop. The location is about 1 km from the city centre and a bit further from the Leece station. The breakfast was comprehensive and had the standard things like hams, cheeses, pancake machine and ice creams and gelato for 15eu . This is probably a good value since a pasta is about 10-13 eu nearby anndni nthe city centre including the taxes. I don’t know if I’d stay here again."

"We stayed here for 2 nights. The rooms were lovely but...They botched our costal tour the first day, advertising it with a boat then the night before telling us it was a 7 hour car tour!!!! Then, on our second night when we did their special tasting menu at their "acclaimed" Zephyr restaurant we both got food poisoning and were violently ill. We never finished all the courses nor the over priced bottle of wine we ordered. My husband was forced to pay for the whole extremely horrible meal as I was getting sick in the restaurant. We thought they might compensate us the next day but they refused to take any ownership."

"Outstanding Bed and Breakfast in Lecce, Italy. The place is very well appointed and cared for. Every detail is taken into consideration. Our room was large and included a sitting area with a desk. The host is friendly and attentive. He helped us park in the garage attached to the B&B. There is a cost of Euro 15 for parking. It is located within walking distance to the historic area as well as the business district. Breakfast was included in our reservation. It is varied and plentiful. I would stay here again."

"My stay at this hotel was a huge disappointment. Despite its 4-star rating, the staff's behavior was completely inappropriate and unprofessional. From the moment we arrived until our departure, we were met with rudeness, indifference, and an aggressive attitude that has no place in the hospitality industry—especially in an establishment that supposedly provides high-end services. Instead of assistance, we received irony and sarcasm for our simple requests. It is a shame because while the facilities might be decent, the staff ruins the entire experience. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for peace and respect. A total waste of money. The biggest issue, however, was at breakfast. The woman in charge there was extremely rude and unacceptable. Instead of a pleasant start to our day, we faced an aggressive and mocking attitude that ruined our mood. It is inconceivable for a hotel of this caliber to hire people who lack the basic manners and politeness to handle guests. Unfortunately, no matter how good a room is, it’s the people and the service that matter. I would never visit this hotel again and I definitely do not recommend it"

"I stayed in this hotel with my family for 4 nights. For a fee we also took the garage and the service was exceptional, you just needed to communicate the time you needed the car and they would find it for you directly in front of the hotel every day. agreed time and when you returned you left the keys with them and we didn't have to think about it anymore! Our room, a triple on the third floor, was very nice and spacious. The beds were really comfortable, large window overlooking the city. Spacious wardrobe with safe, but I would put a few more hangers! The very large bathroom with a nice window, the spacious shower, the only negative side is that inside the shower there is nothing to place various things. Every morning I get clean towels, discreet cleaning. Breakfast is served on a very pretty terrace, the girl behind the counter is always very smiling, there is enough choice of sweet and savory options. At the reception we have always found very kind and helpful people, also ready to recommend places for dinner! It's a shame the spa cannot be used. Positive experience also because the hotel is located in the heart of Lecce, therefore convenient to everything! I would go back."

We stayed in a loud, dirty, shower, which was compassionate, dirty and myrky in the bathroom.The pictures of that tug that she had been lying to us do not appear at all, nowhere. On the bottom of the water tartaro by anyone how much. No shower tape, a wet-shaking smell, so much that old and strawed bed hand towels and our clothes were almost wet; a vomiting stick out of the washing room without a cap; a broken coffee machine. Breakfast served in the indoor courtyard, very different from the pictures, all sweet, dirty, red and colourless gadget, anybody knows when the pictures are. Fresh bars and cucumbers, we tried to drink a juice and was rough, the coffee could only be done in the room, but we could not see the device throwing only cold water, while putting the soda. I am sure that no one would sleep in that stupid thing, but unfortunately the smart owner, who did not even get himself to our arrival and did not answer the phone, was paid in advance, otherwise we would have gone away immediately. Parking is on the street and you need to be lucky. Far from the center. A experience to never repeat. Smuts everywhere, I don't know how to have good reviews, I think it's absurd. NOT WERE 👎👎👎 VERGOGNA!"

Breakfast was abundant, eating at the little tables was a cute experience. Fun actually. The entire experience of staying at Arco Vecchio was as memorably special and intimate as the hotel is."

"Palazzo Bernardini is a strange and wonderful place, full of fascinating artefacts, character and history. It certainly isn’t your typical hotel, and that is a big part of its charm. Our host was gracious and welcoming, with excellent recommendations for the local area, both for things to see and places to eat. The location is perfect for exploring Lecce on foot, and our room was large and comfortable with excellent air conditioning, which was very much appreciated in the heat. Breakfast was a simple buffet but perfectly adequate. There is also a very sweet resident cat, which adds to the character of the place, although unfortunately this wasn’t ideal for my allergies. The main disappointment was the bathroom. It was very small and cramped, and the shower had definitely seen better days and felt rather crusty and in need of some attention. Parking is available, which is a bonus in Lecce, but it’s not particularly easy if you have a larger car. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and were glad to have experienced such an unusual and characterful place. However, the bathroom, parking difficulties and my issues with the cat would probably put me off returning."

If you're traveling to Europe, it's better to look for a newer hotel, even if it has fewer stars."

"Not bad HG Inn Hotel about a 20 min walk to all the tourist attractions within the City. Room and bathroom were larger than expected and a big plus was real pillows, yes I mean real pillows!! Lovely and soft and not the high density polyester type that most hotels use now to save a few $$$$. Unfortunately the inhouse internet service appeared to be hacked during the last two days of my stay with my works provided Norton Software Package indicating that the hotels site had been cloned? Lots of breakfast staff present at the weekend milling around the breakfast area but sadly none could say good morning to their paying guests and were put out if you asked for assistance. Sadly this was the deal breaker as I was on a business trip. However if you are on vacation its a good solid HG Inn Property."
